Finally, a pair of jeans that fits my husband. Nice fit through the butt and thighs, without being tight. Now to find them in the darker colors. Just wish they'd drop the whiskering -- it just looks silly.

These pants feel and look great! I bought the solid black 517's Levi because I wanted to try a different style then the loose boot it I'm used to. The only thing I would changed is the width in the thigh area. I workout but do not have huge legs and the pants are very tight, so tight I can't walk or sit without being uncomfortable. It's too bad I'm going to have to send them back I love the size of the leg opening along with the softer fabric.

Great jeans, fit very well and true to size. The flare of the jeans at the bottom ("Boot Cut") is pretty extreme, though. In the future I'll probably be looking for a pair that don't flare out so much.

They were as advertised, they fit well and washed up very well. Look nice.

A great pair of jeans that fits true to size. The only negative I have to say is that the picture of the jean color is slightly off. Other than that everything is perfect.

Material was fine, but fit was smaller, tighter, than my older 35x34s I'm still wearing. As they haven't been washed I'm concerned they will become even smaller in waist. Will try ordering 36x34.

The label said 33x29" They are actually 33X30 making them too long

The material is cheap 12 OZ it feels cheap!

I bought these for my husband who has worn the 517 style for many years. It appears that the pattern has changed in that the fit in the backside is no longer as smooth as in the past. There seems to be too much material in the seat causing the material to pucker and look sloppy. I then bought him a pair of Wranglers that fit smoothly across the seat. I guess Levi’s has lost a long time customer.

I ordered STONEWASH and this does not look like it! (photo). Am I right to assume that STONEWASHED means a LIGHTER blue? As in the ad photo.

Ordered 2, 517 rinse jeans - 36 x 34 .... received ... 1 - 36 x 34 1 - 34 x36 Now what to do?

Excellent service & quick delivery. The sizing and fit of the Levis 517's were right on the mark. One semi-major flaw was that the stitching on the pockets was a completely different color than it was on the rest of these jeans. It was more of a light green color as compared to the brown color on the other seams. This really stands out & no amount of washing will blend these two colors together.

I was greatly disappointed when these jeans arrived. They are advertised as "sits at waist" when they are definitely not! They sit just below the waist. Please change your website info to reflect this. They were a great jean, but now Levi's ruined them.

These run very baggy in the thighs. My husband fit the waistline just fine, but the bagginess in the thigh just looked to messy. I'm trying to get him the slim boot cut so they'll fit better, but they're all sold out in his size.

I ordered 501 bootcut & I got 517 bootcut. So I wasn’t happy about that. I tried this one & it’s low hips didn’t feel comfortable but this is not what I ordered so can’t say too much about it.

If you are expecting a Light Blue color of any style, forget it. I dont understand why different colors are advertised! This should be a lighter blue... it isn't. Now get this: nowhere on the jean's label the color is stated! Then HOW DO THEY CHOOSE THEM FOR SHIPPING? The whole thing smells dishonest.

Bought what i thought i had always purchased,517 rigid dark blue boot jeans. Took off the tags and read the washing instructions.(cold water, liquid detergent and washed them gentle cycle. when finished i took them out of the washer and they were super stiff. Ok I'll throw in a couple of dryer sheets to loosen them up.(dryer setting on med heat) when finished drying not only were they still somewhat stiff but they shrunk. could not get them on. Now i don't know if this is the way levi's are going to be and after wearing this brand forever am i going to have to look for another brand or stop wearing jeans.

Too tight, can't button

I never tried them on as I do not like the color.

i did not feel it was a good fit it was 65 cotton and 35 polyester. i sent it back.

the fly opening to small to put my hand in.

I ordered a size 36 waist and inseam 30, when the jeans came, the inseam was 32. I had to pay to have them altered.

They did not fit.

Horrible, too tight and too long, if these were the right size maybe I would be able to rate them higher. The waist was too tight I go between a 34 and 35 inch waist so I bought the 36 expecting them to be loose and they barely buttoned shut, I have a muscular build but I am short at 5”5 and these jeans were skin tight on my upper thigh and not 29 inch long like they said they were way too long easily 32 or 34 inches long. I returned them and bought a similar pair directly from Levi ad they fit perfectly, these must have been knock off Levi or defective being sold as new. In good is Zappos allowed me to return them for a full refund.

GROSSLY undersized by 4 " in waist.
