I purchased these for my 16 year old and he loves them. He's 6'1", and very lean, and very long legged. The slim fit is perfect for his build and looks great with hoodies and his Vans. Great for school. Shrinkage not noticeable when washed. Dark wash is already fading a bit, but my son doesn't mind.

They were just what they were supposed to be! As usual, they were delivered the next day! We did have to return a pair and that process was just as simple! I use Zappos for most of my shopping!!!

Zappos is great. My son is very tall and very thin, and is not able to find clothes off the rack to fit him. Zappos had jeans that fit perfectly, and with a teen friendly style. Zappos is now my go to source for clothes for my son.

These jeans are just what I was looking for. Good trade off between those styles that are too slim fitting and those with too much room in the seat, thigh and front. Best part of all is Zappos instant delivery and free shipping.

I was surprised to find these are stretch denim - not my favorite stuff. Also they sit just below the waist which I personally find uncomfortable. Otherwise a good fit for someone slim without a huge rear end.

The slim fit run a little big in the thigh area, the leg opening has also been widened a bit. Wish Levi's would quit messing with a good product, bought these same jeans 4yrs ago and they fit perfect. Zappos service was excellent. placed order Sunday before Christmas delivery on Tuesday!

Sometimes the waist/length is slightly larger than what is marked on the pant. Otherwise, they are classic jeans and you can't go wrong.

I'm so glad that Zappos had these; they were not available at the downtown Levi's store, and not even available at the Levi's website. I'm one of those people who really don't care for the ultra-baggy look of 'relaxed fit' jeans (I still have a fairly trim posterior, so they look downright voluminous in the seat!), but I'm a little too big in the torso to make 'skinny' jeans work (I end up looking like a beer keg perched on two straws!). The 512 is a nice compromise with a slim fit and a very hard-to-find tapered leg, but doesn't look silly on those of us who don't have the 'heroin addict' physique of the kids modeling skinny jeans. Add to this the benefit of Zappos' free shipping/return, and there's no need to go to the store! Just order two or three pairs to make sure you have the size dialed in, and send back what you don't need! For those of us who don't care to go shopping, it's great! My only complaint with these jeans is the denim aren't as light as I'd like. I have a nice pair of fashion jeans with a lighter, softer denim, but they cost nearly $200! The Levi's 512 is a great jean with a fashion look, but a price tag for everyday wear!

These are almost exactly the same size as the Levi 505\'s of about 7-8 years ago. I was hoping for something slimmer, but it seems that Levi\'s has adjusted their sizing to compensate for America\'s expanding waistlines. So what was once a regular size is now a slim size.

My 512's fit rather baggy. They have plenty of room in the the trunk, crotch and legs. Looking back, I prefer my 501's to these 512's. Similar fit but the 501's have a more classic style. And if you are looking for something more slim fitting check out Levi's 511's. I'm currently on J Crew 484 Slim Fit. They most closely resemble the the Levi's 511's. But the 501's are my fall back.

Theses fit horribly. I purchased these thinking they were men's pants. Levi 512 are women's pants. I found that out a little late. The Levi Web Site only offers the 512 for women. These pants were huge in the thigh and saddle.

Gimme back my jeans! I want my Original 512's back! This new style is nothing more than a 505 with a different tag. Levi's, go back to making them the way they used to be. Regular waist, true "Slim Fit" leg tapered to the ankle jeans that "fit".
