I added 4 inch to the length and 1 inch the waist for a comfortable, relaxed fit that I could cuff at the bottom. Next time I may try going with the true waist size, but I really have no complaints with this pair.

While not as sturdy and heavy denim as levi's from the 70's,80's etc, These 501's are the probably the best jeans available these days, and tens times better than the 'fashion' styles that are even thinner and more expensive. The only jeans I wear, actually. Zappos is really convenient and super fast shipping too.

Perfect - exactly what I wanted. Color matched what was shown online, and everything else was as advertised. Levi's brand speaks for itself, and Zappos delivery is a great combination.

Best pair of jeans I own. They are not like most baggy jeans that most men wear these days, they fit much closer and comes off as a better look overall.

I've been wearing Levi's 501 jeans for about 25 years, and as my waist grew over time my size became increasing harder to find, unless of course I wanted to join the younger set and walk on the back of my pant cuffs until they frayed out. This year even the Levi outlet store couldn't help me. I went on line, came across your web site, saw my size listed, and ordered. I'm 5'8-5'9 and have somewhat short legs. I always have problems with the length of jeans. 30 inch inseam is usually too short and 32 is usually too long. So you can imagine how stoked I was to find 31 inch inseam 501's in all black. Just got them in today and they fit like a glove. The only drawback is that the 31 inch inseams are still very limited. Out of all the 501 styles, only 3 of them were available in my size. I only hope Zappos supplies more, so I can fill up my wardrobe.

A fan of the Levi's 501 STFs! I have tried many ways to achieve a good fit with these, and for me, have figured it out. I simply get one size up in waist (29) and 3 sizes up in length (32)...sound familiar? It is what they suggest. I do have to warm wash/dry them to achieve the ideal fit as a warm soak doesn't do the trick alone. However, after the wash/dryer, they fit perfectly. Have the Sand, Black, Rigid, and Grey. Love 'em all.

I wore them unwashed several times, and then took a hot bath in them and got out and wore them dry. The waist did not shrink. I bought my regular size. The length shrunk up about 2 inches. I have not washed or dried them again yet; I suspect the length will shrink a little more. Good color, sort a of a deep charcoal. They really do shrink to fit your body.

An old standard for a reason. After shrinking and some heavy wear, they look perfect. I recommend buying them 2" long and an inch wider than your waist if you plan to soak in hot water while wearing them.

These are really nice jeans. Word of advice though: if you're going to take them to the cleaners, get them 2 sizes bigger than your size. That way its fits perfectly and not too tight in the waist.

Great fit. What a blast from the past. Still the same quality and fit the 501 original has been famous for. Made my husband happy to have a pair once again.

I bought these jeans for my husband for Christmas because he's always looked so good in 501's, and nothing's changed. Love, love, love these jeans on him! I want to add that Zappos depiction of the color is right on; they were exactly what the picture shows. Thanks, Zappos!

The 501 rigid shrink to fit in grey is my favorite pair of jeans ever. In fact, the only jeans I wear are Levi 501s or LRGs.

No zipper. Button fly. Read a review to order a size larger, not true! These are true to size fit! Had to reorder for my husband as a surprise gift. Other than no zipper, he likes them. All other white jeans for men are very expensive. These are good quality and value. Levi's rock!

I ordered the jeans as a gift for my son and was so pleased when they arrived the fit was perfect and he looks adorable in them! I will order more soon.

My Hubby hasn't worn any other brand or style in the 10 years I've known him - colors he will change, but when it comes to jeans these are all he will wear! Perfect fit, style and comfort...and his tushie looks great too!

I was looking for a pair of jeans size 33 X 36 for my son as a Christmas present. I didn't think I had enough time to order online so I went to the mall. I spent over 4 hours going to every single mens clothing store in the mall and none of them had his size. When I got home I decided to try to find a pair online and sure enough, zappos.com had a pair, very reasonably priced, no shipping charge, and they arrived to my house in 2 days. Unbelievable! I will definitely shop with zappos.com again before going to the mall!

Well yeah, 501s are fairly common, but try finding the non shrink-to-fit stonewash in 35x36. Zappos has 'em, and within a day or two they appear. There is no better place to buy em. Zappos rules.

The jeans are of good quality as you would from Levi's. The free shipping was lighting fast. I have order many things from Zappos and depending on time on day I ordered them, I usually recieve them within 24 to 48 hours later.

They're blue. They have two legs. And, they fit. What more could you ask for out of blue jeans?
