Good fitting jean...once I got the right size. I had to go smaller and shorter than khakis. I purchased other colors,as well which fit well. As the "optic white" is very white, I haven't had the occasion to wear them yet!

Great pair of jeans. I love the 501 fit. I was concerned the color would be blinding white but it's actually the perfect shade of white. A little roomy in the waste but I am assuming that's to account for shrinkage.

Pretty basic blue jeans. They are comfortable once worn in a little. I usually have to get these when I shop for jeans because it is impossible to find 30x36 jeans for a decent price on any website.

A SOLID pair of jeans! Made really well, and very durable. I've seen the changes in Levis over the years; and I have worn them since the 90's. They have NEVER let me down. For years of service; wash inside out and in cold water then line dry.

I am 82 years old and have been wearing Levi's since I was a boy. Those were the days when denim was denim and there was no such thing as pre-shrunk. Even the patch was real leather and they all were button up. After wearing them for the first time or so, when one took them off, their underwear was blue and they would just about stand up by themselves. As I recall there was only one length. We just folded them up. As to the 501s, even though they are not like the 1941 vintage, I still wear them. I even put up with the button fly. If you like a non baggy seat and slim legs, these are the ones for you. It would be nice if 35 waists were more common. I only wish I had a picture of me when I was about 13 with my beautiful white horse, tooled leather saddle and LEVI'S. I was a lucky kid....

The size and quality were true to form for the 501's. They are getting harder and harder to find in store. The shipping came fast and quick. I will order all my husbands jeans on Zappos from here on out!

Great value and I have been wearing 501's since I was 12 years old, that's over 50 years. 501's are the gold standard for jeans.

I like the snug fit of these jeans, that they are slim fitting through the hips and the leg. I have noticed, though, that the cut varies very slightly with each color / style. Overall, I think they're great jeans.

I bought two pairs of these for my husband. They wash really well and have kept the color. Fit is great and he loves them.

501s are my favorite style, but the classic is not the same: depending on what country these jeans are made, the fit and durability will be different. If consistency is important to you, you may want to look elsewhere. I've received in the same shipment jeans made in Haiti and Egypt.

These pants were original 501 jeans and did not look like seconds or anything like that. The price was right and they had free shipping. Zappos is my new place to shop. They won me over with good pricing and great service.

I used to wear 517 bootcut jeans because they fit so well, but wide-legs are a bit out of fashion so I switched to 501s and they are more comfortable than a diaper. Super-happy with my choice. and they look great!

I have been wearing 501's for over 20 years. Contrary to some of the reviews, I find the fit excellent, and the comfort what I am use to. Ordering from Zappos has been a real delight. In fact I find the fit more consistent on Zappos than in local department stores. Not sure of the issue. I will continue to buy my 501's from Zappos. ONE SATISFIED WEARER.

I bought these 1 size larger in waist and 2 sizes in length. One washing later and they were perfect in waist and slightly long in length, but I expect the length will be perfect in a couple of more washings.

Levi's 501s are simply the best jeans. They are not baggy, but not too tight either. The fit is great, also Zappos has a great selection of colors, though I prefer the stonewash variety. These are the originals so they have a button fly instead of zipper. I really like the fact that Zappos offers a size 29 inseam. With the sale price you can't go wrong, 501s are all you need.
