Zappos is wonderful. Ordered on a Friday and received the package on Monday. You cannot find white jeans anywhere anymore, and these were for my husband for a cosplay costume, and they were perfect. I'll always trust Zappos, and naturally, if a man knows his size you can't go wrong with the classic 501's!

I would buy these again and again, just as advertised.

I like the Levi's 501 when I was a teenager in the '80s. I bought these for casual days at the workplace. Blue jeans are not in the dress code; however, the midnight blue 501 material has the feel of khaki and not that of jeans. Therefore, I get away with it because everyone think they are khakis. Win-win situation for me as I can still keep my rebellious style and maintain a professional appearance at the same time. Highly recommended!

Believe it when you see a claim of amazing customer service from Zappos. Ordered a pair of Levi's 501 Jeans late Thursday afternoon and had them by 11:00 Friday morning. Same was true of a pair of Nike's in a previous order. That's efficiency, and then some. While not totally thrilled with the quality of Levi's denim fabric weight lately, that's certainly not Zappos fault. I can honestly say that I've never seen better customer service anywhere. Keep up the great work Zappos!

Levi's 501 jeans are classic. They are comfortable and come in a variety of colors. They are the only jeans I buy for myself, and I only get them through zappos.com!

While I am satisfied with the Zappos service, I find myself horribly disappointed with the low quality produce Levi has put out here. The jeans I wore ten years ago would last for several years, the current pair I bought was notably thinner, cheaper and didn't make it 6 months.

I enjoyed the Zappos experience. The service was incredible and I received my jeans literally within 24 hours of placing my order. No shipping charges!

Levi's 501 jeans used to be THE standard in work denim. No longer. After wearing Levi 501 jeans for 30+ years, Levi has sunk to a new low. The fabric is much thinner than previous years. The hem is now 3/8" instead of 5/8" which doesn't sound like much, but instead of laying flat, the hem now curls up. Really! Quality Control, not happening. This is sad beginning of the end for Levi.

My husband is tall, over 6'2, so it's difficult to find jeans that fit his inseam. He likes the slimmer cut and the jeans fit him perfectly. He also wanted the new darker black color, so this was a definitely a win win.

Everything about Zappos' service is great. Unfortunately the quality of Levi's has gone downhill. One pair of jeans had a waist that was one inch less than stated on the tags. Zappos replaced those. The other pair had cuff seams that are like mini cuffs...half of what all my other Levis have ever had. They didn't fold up enough material for the cuff or something. I decided just to ignore that. Oh...and they are no longer 5 button jeans. Don't know if all that is because of the new production location or if Levis is just cutting corners to increase profit. I'll still shop at Zappos...but I might be done with Levis.

The fabric is thinner and stretchier compared to another pair of Levi's 501 that we purchased at a department store. My husband says they are more comfortable, but we don't know yet if the fabric will hold up as well as the thicker, non-stretchy fabric of his old pair. They do still have the button fly.

These pair of jeans fit exactly as labeled and quality was excellent. This was my first purchase from Zappos and I was exceptionally pleased by their next business day shipping.

I have ordered from Zappos several times. Always great service. Items always as described and very fast service. Love their site. Never hesitate to order from them!

Fabric is much "coarser" than my other 501s, and sort of scratchy. Fit OK when initially tried on, but shrank much more than my other 501s, some of which are now 10 years old, ever did. After only two gentle washes in cold water and drip drying only, these are now too short in length, and too tight in the waistband and crotch. I am quite disappointed.

I purchased 501's, 505's, and 514's. These 501's are tighter than I'm used to: I previously only dwell in the loose fit realm. However, the 501's have more crotch/thigh area than the 514's. Overall, I like these. But I will warn here as I did on the other two reviews, some of the "color" choices on Levi's are actually a stretch denim, and Zappos descriptions do not include that information. You may want to cross reference the color choices with the Levi's website to ensure there are no surprises when you get your jeans.

Gotta love the classic look and feel of the 501 jeans. Had never had the black on black color after years and years of wearing only 501 or 501 shrink to fit for my jeans. The black color is awesome, fit is pretty much the same, and they look great.

Tried them on once and immediately returned them. Actually, that's not quite accurate -- I attempted to try them on, only to discover that the sizing is completely off (way too small) and nowhere in the item description did I read that these are "skinny jeans" -- which they most certainly are. Also, as others have commented, the quality of the fabric is low. Thin cotton, not authentic denim.

Our daughter had a country wedding, on the bridge, and the dress code was "dark denim jeans" easy? Yes, if you chose Zappos -- impossible if you chose to shop locally. Thanks Zappos.

The Levi's were typical quality that I have always enjoyed. What was remarkable was the Zappo's website. I had tried to purchase at two other websites that day, but in the few minutes it took from selecting product to checkout that were conveniently sold out and offered a similar product at a higher price. Zappos will now be my goto online retailer.

I ordered the jeans for my husband using the size off an old pair he had and loved. They arrived a few days after I ordered them online. They fit perfectly and my husband is enjoyed wearing them. I was also impressed had they not fit I could send them back without incurring any cost.

Great color and comfortable. A little bit baggy down the legs, but that just may be because I'm skinny. The only thing I can complain about is the fly...it's 5 obnoxious buttons instead of a zipper; really, what were they smoking?!

I can always count on Zappos for consistent size and quality for all of my Levis needs. Their shipping and return policy is second to none. I recommend Zappos over wasting time and gas going to the mall any day!

Horrible. These are not 501's. They say 501's, but lately each time I buy them from Zappos, they fit different. I haven't grown or gotten shorter, I'm still a 33/34. Why can't Levi's make 501's consistent? Both pair I tried literally fit different from one another. I don't mean a little bit off...they looked like 2 different styles of pant.

What can you say about Levi's. They're great. And so is Zappos. I was most impressed. My order arrived within the time frame provided. I'd certainly use Zappos again for other products.

Poor workmanship. After 1 washing the hem came undone and raveled. The seam hem tolerance is also so small that upon the first washing it curled up on itself.
