Simply the best. Wore them in high school myself back in 1976; now watched my son head off to HS in 'em! Always in style.

So happy to have finally found a pair of jeans that fit my 14 year-old son perfectly! He is at the transitional stage between boy sizes and adult sizes so it is very difficult to find clothing that fits properly and that meets his "cool" requirements. Happy to say that these Levi's fulfill both -- he now owns five pairs in all the different colors/washes. Size goes by waist girth, offering more choices in the smaller numbers and also in terms of length than the adult version of these pants. Levi's is durable and timelessly styled.

I have to say it was so easy to order from Zappos and they had exactly what I was looking for and it was delivered the next day. How cool is that.

What more can you say they are Levi's which means great jeans, great quality, and great price. You can't go wrong with Levi's or Zappos unless it's the wrong size and if so, you can send it back to Zappos with free shipping!

Great fit, low price without the low price look! High quality with great style. I'm in love with Zappos. I just don't know how they do it. I ordered 4pm Monday and it arrived Tuesday morning! They must have a factory full of working elves that never stop!

I ordered these jeans for my 5yr old son. They fit him so nice.I love ordering from Zappos. They have wonderful service.

Nice but a little too baggy on me. I wear them but they are a little too loose to be called a pair of slim jeans. If you have a son who is bulky or muscular, than these will be good for him. But for skinny guys, the Levi's 511 is really slim.

The jeans are nicely cut and well fitted for my skinny 12 yr old son, but the fabric is strangely wrinkle prone. The large, thick kind of wrinkles that may have been done on purpose, but do not look good to me. Makes them difficult to fold neatly. My son has no complaints, but then he's a 12 yr old boy...

Awesome jeans! Bought these for my son and he loves them. These are perfect for children with thick legs. They are not to big or tight.

My son does NOT like jeans. He says they are too stiff. But these jeans are very comfortable. He loves them! I have a hard time finding jeans that are long enough for him since he is 11 yrs old & already wearing a 16 slim. These jeans are a great find!

These jeans are so stylish for my 9 year old. He says they are comfortable and easy to move in. After "growing out" of the "kids stores" at the mall, Levi's jeans are the new go to for him.

These are a great pair of jeans for my son. He loves them, they are soft and comfortable and just nice, classic, straight-legged levis. He is ten and tall and slender and they are perfect. The waist is not adjustable.

Great jeans. My boys have been wearing Levi's since they were wee ones. Now 11 & 13, the 514's are perfect for their long, lean bodies. The cut is generous in the waist for my guys - they either wear a belt or let them hang a bit. Can't go wrong. I buy them each 4 pairs at a time in a few different washes. It's just about all they wear. Too bad the women's jeans aren't cut for my body...again, too generous in the waist.

I'm a Levi's purist. I ordered these jeans because I had bought them 3 years ago as 100% cotton jeans from Zappos and loved them. But alas, everything changes! These jeans are listed as 99% cotton, 1% spandex, and I don't mind a little stretch. However, they arrived and are 80% cotton, 19% polyester and 1% spandex. So the fabric look and feel, and no doubt durability, is quite different. They even smell different. Not sure I will keep them. I suggested to customer service twice to update the description so maybe they have by now. But If you want 100%, these are not the pair for you either.

Jeans are great but the size is too small. I purchased a size 12, and my son just turned 11 and the waist fits tight. Usually US sizes are big for him in other brands like Gap, Polo, etc but this was not the case with Levi's. Go for the next size. Other than that it's a good quality jean.

I had a similar experience to the person who posted the critical review on 4/12. I ordered several pairs of these jeans for my 10 year old son and they all were as expected, except for the one in the Glare wash...it came out of the washer with large faded creases in it that did not relax in the dryer. I even tried using the iron to get them out with no success. The last thing I want to spend my time doing is trying to iron out creases in my 10 year old son's jeans! I am happy to report that when I contacted Zappos customer service, they happily exchanged them for me!
