Hallelujah! The perfect jeans! I'm 5'2", 125 pounds and a definite pear shape (ie, smaller waste, bigger bum) and a size 6 short is a perfect fit. No gapping in the waist, just loose enough to be comfy but still look flattering. Length is good - can wear with a slight ~2" heal or could probably do with flats as well. I've bought jeans that cost twice as much and did not fit and flatter half as well. A keeper!

They are sizing 529's a little larger than a few years ago. My old size 8's fit much too tightly, but the current size 8 fits me perfectly (my waist is 29" and hips are 39." The medium-length inseam measures 31" long (not 32" as stated here on Zappos). I like that length, which is perfect for me (I am 5'8") with a 1 inch heel. Ladies, pay attention to the spandex content in your jeans. NYDJ jeans and Second Yoga jeans contain 4% and 3% spandex, respectively, which is great for movement, but results in the saggy tush look - ugh. The spandex content of these Levi's is 2%, so they are not restrictive, but you don't suffer from wrinkle-butt. Very, very well-fitting jeans for this mom of three. I like their medium weight material. My heavier NYDJ jeans are just for the cold months. These Levi 529 Curvy Boot Cuts are great for the warmer weather as well. Hope this helps!

For some reason, I simply cannot find jeans that look even remotely nice on me. I'm 5'9", and am usually around 190 lbs. Mind you, they're snug when I first put them on, but because of the spandex, they stretch out just a little while wearing them. But, if I wear a pair a few times without washing in-between, the rear end and the waist get a little saggy. Then I wash them, and they're snug again. I found these several years ago, and fell in love instantly. BUT, stores have since stopped carrying them in 14L, and Zappos only carries a VERY limited color selection in my size (the medium length are much too short for me - I have a 32" inseam). Unfortunately, the only colors available on Zappos in a 14L are colors I don't like (I really don't like the "dirty" looking ones, and the ones with the almost white fade areas - why would I want a lighter color on my rear and thighs? That's the last place I want to draw attention to!). So, back to the eternal hunt for nice fitting jeans. :-( Good luck on your own hunt, ladies!

Favorite jeans! It's so hard to find jeans that fit my hips and waist. These are my favorite by far. Premium indigo color is great.

Love these jeans. I am short & on the plump side. They were a little tight in the legs but stretched out very quickly. I did find the pockets shallow as some others stated but not a big problem for me. Will buy again in different colors.

I love these pants! They fit so well,and come in so many different shades. Each color has a slightly different fit. I've been ordering the short size but they get too short after washing, so get the next length up if you're washing at home.

I LOVE these jeans. An amazing deal for the price. They sit exactly where I like, below the waist, but not too far below. And the back comes up higher which is perfect for me. I am 5'4" 125lbs, with hips. The length is perfect, and the weight of the jeans is great. Not too heavy, not too light.

I have a bigger hips and thighs and they are a great fit without gapping at the waist. They fit perfectly. Love them so much, I've ordered another pair exactly like them!

Found! The perfect pair of jeans! After years of wearing too tight, too loose, too wrong....this pair fits me like it was made for me. I wanted to order a second pair, but they're already out of stock in my size. They're just right!

I love these jeans. I can not find the long length in department stores and was thrilled that you carry them. They were delivered as promised and the price is almost half of what the department stores sell them for. I am going to purchase two more in the coming weeks. Thank you Zappos!

Bought these on a whim and I actually liked them so much bought five more pair they are the most comfortable jeans I have ever had aside from my others which I can't name.

These jeans are comfortable and fit well, but be aware that the rise is higher than most jeans these days (which may be either desirable or not depending on your preferences).

Love these jeans. They are a perfect weight - light enough and with enough stretch to stay in shape (not start bagging after 1 hour of wearing them) but not so tight or thin a material that they show every little imperfection. They are a "forgiving" fabric! Love the dark wash, too.

I was very leery of purchasing jeans online but these fit me perfectly! I saved myself the frustration of trying on multiple pairs in a store, only to walk away empty handed. Love the fit on these -- finally jeans that fit my waist and hips! The main reason I am posting this review is because I wasn't sure what length inseam to order. I am 5'8" and ordered the "L," and the hem ends right at the bottom of my heel in stocking feet, which is exactly what I wanted.

Great fit. Shows off curves the way jeans are supposed to. The boot cut is very attractive with any heel height including flats. I bought two pairs. I Had the white in my favorites but I see that it is not available now. Zappos delivered on time next day as usual.

The picture does not do these justice - these jeans fit amazing on a curvy body with a slightly smaller waist. They are fitted for larger thighs and hips than regular sizes but stay well fitted in the waist.

These jeans are great and Zappos service is wonderful. The jeans shipped quickly and I had them the next day. Better than going to the mall to shop!

These are one of the best jeans ever. I'm 5'8 1/2 and 185 lb. I have a typical black woman's shape. I have a small waste and a big butt and I'm a little tall. I wear a size 14L. Perfect. The best thing is that they stretch too.

Love the new Levi's 529. I got boot cut for the first time. A little too wide for my current shoe and tad too long. I am 5' and the short is 32". I guess I will have to buy more boot type shoes with bigger heel. Not sad at all.

These are great fitting long jeans for a tall woman with curves. My boyfriend says they are good "butt jeans." The denim is dark which makes the side stitching really pop. I get compliments every time I wear them.
