First of all: ignore the pictures above, with the models, and the video. It would be nice if Levis would show "curvy jeans" on a person who actually had some curves. Those pictures/video make it look like these jeans are huge, when they are really cut for a woman who is not straight-figured. I bought these jeans in a size 6 short. I am 5'3", I weigh 129 lbs and I am athletic - I have a round butt, muscular thighs, and my waist isn't big but not super narrow either. These jeans fit pretty well! My only complaint is they stretch out fairly quickly, but not so much that they look baggy and shapeless.

I am pleasantly surprised at the fit of the curvy boot cut. It works just right for me.

The regular length is short compared to other brands. I'm usually a size 6 and they were a good fit, just too short!

Jeans have a great fit, although the color isn't exactly as pictured. I received a much lighter color, but kept the jeans anyway, since summertime is coming up.

Great for people who actually have a butt! (unlike the model in the photo). I am 6 feet tall, so my only beef would be to add another 1 inch to the length. Otherwise a great cut for real women.

Very good fitting jean, a little snug, but they look good on. My only complaint is that the front sits much lower than I typically wear. Very short zipper. The back comes up higher so you don't show any of your crack when you squat or bend over.

These are about the best jeans I've found so far in my continuing quest to find jeans that really fit a pear-shaped figure. I'm about two sizes smaller in the waist than in the hips. Most jeans that fit my hips are way too large at the waist, and I have to wear a belt to keep them on. These have very little gap and - at least when they're fresh out of the dryer - I can get away without a belt. Still looking for that perfect pair of jeans.

If you are a curvy, pear shape and always have difficulty getting jeans to fit your waist and thighs, then these are the perfect jeans for you. The waist doesn't gap which is usually the problem I have trying to get jeans to fit my thighs. The only con for me is that the jeans seem to really accentuate my pear shape which I'm not accustomed to but if you are comfortable with that, then you will really like the jeans.

A great jean for curvy girls. Something about the cut of these just makes you look good. Love to wear these! A few drawbacks though, the vintage wash does fade after a few washes and I did notice a weird hole on the right front pocket of one pair.

I just love this jean and its fit. However, the dye or perhaps an insecticide used in shipping from overseas resulted in a just awful smell, like moth balls. It took me awhile to figure out that funny smell was ME! I looked online and this is a problem with these jeans. There are all sorts of solutions for getting out the odor. It took me multiple washes in hot water with baking soda to make them wearable. Make sure your pair passes the "sniff" test before wearing.

I have an hour glass shape and am a size 8. These jeans are so uncomfortable. The color is great but the fit is terrible. They are way too baggy in the thigh and almost make a camel toe.

These are great jeans for my figure. Not too tight but not saggy baggy, although they do loosen up by the end of the day. These are everyday run to the mall not urn to the club jeans. Unfortunately, I'm returning this pair due to the styling.In the dark color the too bright stitching emphasizes all the wrong spots on a woman's hips, and look, to my eye and a trusted friend's like a mess. (Size 6,) 31" waist, 38"hips & 5'6"tall.

I am changing my review. At first, I loved the jeans, now they are just OK. The fit is great, but after the first wash, there were unwanted weird horizontal faded lines accross the hips. Plus the cute little red tag on the back pocket does not read Levi's, it only has a circled "R" for trademark. What I got did not have the proud Levi's label on the hip. I was disappointed after looking closer. But still, the 529 Levi fit is the best for my body type and will buy another pair, just maybe not from an online site.

These jeans are cut for small waisted, girly-girls who go in at the waist and round out at the hip, so if you are more straight up and down (like athletic build) the waistband is too tight. What happened to Levis 565s?

I tried these jeans on at Macy's and like how they fit, but didn't like the color selection. So I found these online and ordered them. I am very happy with how the jeans fit and look. However, I have washed them several times, both with and without vinegar, and the color is still bleeding onto my other clothes! This is very frustrating!

These "righ on blue" fit differently then than a lighter pair I have. The material is thinner and they are smaller overall and I have a muffin top in these jeans. The waist is just too small if you have a little stomach pouch and much behind. The lighter color fits loser. I got just the regular levi's boot cut and of course the waist is too big, I expected that, and there is just too much material in the front....way too much. Looks funny. I wear a 14 but I'm going to try a 12 in the non curvy bootcut. Levi sizing is not consistent. Different colors fit differently.

Sadly these must go back. I wear a 14. They fit everywhere but in the front. My stomach pouch is too big and or I have too much booty in the pants. The zipper would not stay up and I had a muffin top. I ordered the dark blue with the regular plain design on the back pockets. I have another pair of 529 a lighter blue that fit fine. They are a little snug around the stomach but they zip and stay zip and no muffin top. Levis sizes are not consistent. These must be returned. Also, the back stitching right above the back pockets sits on your butt in a weird position.

I ordered two pairs of the curvy boot cut, both size 6. The delivery was really fast which made it convenient. The only problem I had was that they seemed to be different sizes. One pair fit very nicely while the other was very loose.

These fit perfectly, however they have too much stretch and by mid day they feel baggy and a little uncomfortable. I have other pairs of Levi's 529s and haven't had this problem.

I have three pair of these jeans, all size 10, but three different colors. Every single par fits me differently. The darkest wash is the heaviest fabric, and the medium is the lightest and most flimsiest. The inseams are all over the road, as are the waists! Who is making these jeans? Yes, the extra room is great for a real butt, but where is quality control???

Like a lot of the other reviews, I absolutely love the fit of the 529s. They really are perfect for my body type. The biggest drawback to my having them in every color is the smell of the dye. I have called the company about this before as I have never been able to get the really nasty smell out of my jeans. I washed them with vinegar and salt, then baking soda. I tried hot water, cold water and even Nature's Miracle which gets rid of pet urine odors. nothing works. They seem truly shocked to hear it, but I cannot believe that I am the only one who has the issue. One solution was to send the jeans back to them and they would try to remedy it. I never got the call tag. So, all that being said, I absolutely love the fit but hate the smell.

Really good for those of us with a big booty, a smaller waist, and the dreaded "back gap." However, the quality of the material is a problem, and the size range is pitiful. It stops at 16! Seriously? I bought a pair in March (now 6-7 months ago) and it's already tearing at the belt loops and is shredding and ready to tear in the inner thigh. Half a year. That's all you'll get out of these.

Does not look like Levi jeans. Material is not like regular denim. No weight to fabric. Fabric is stretchy, I find the stitch to be gaudy-bright yellow blazing on back pockets and on the bottom and sides-wanted something more subtle in regards to stitching-looks cheap. Wanted substantial fabric and something that looks and feels like a pair of jeans-these do not. Also the boot leg cut is a bit too bell shaped. The fit was good, higher at waist than most-I am 57, 5' 4" and a size 10, I had to get the 10 short in this curvy boot cut style. I wish designers of women's jeans would go back to the same fabric they make mens jeans with, and cut and seam and detail them the same way, just shape them for women. These felt strange on...like pajamas, not jeans...I like how good, soft thick denim drapes...tired of all this synthetic denim.
