As good as I expected - I work at a job where I am on my feet most of the day, and these are wonderful- I broke them in within a few days and they are so comfortable! The only drawback is that these don't have the most terrific ankle support.

Surprisingly Satisfied - Heard rave reviews so I got them. At first I thought "nothing special, kind of hard, and my feet don't feel different." It was after a few long days standing at work and coming home that I realized... "my feet don't feel different." Even after standing for so long, my feet weren't tired, achy, sore and begging to be taken out of confinement. It means the shoe did its job. No more crampy arches. Easy to slip on. Cons (despite these I still love my Danskos. I am just mentioning them for information's sake): 1. Bleeds red on my lighter colored socks. 2. I have a slightly protruding bone on top of my foot, so with thicker socks, it becomes a tight and somewhat painful fit across the top. 3. The Cordovan Cabrios scratched/scuffed easily and a tiny bit of the top layer of leather came off. PS: Zappos epitomizes good customer service. They have my loyalty.

Good shoe for people with low back pain - This is a great shoe if you have a job where you are on your feet a lot! It really supports your feet and it moves with the movement of your foot instead of your foot being forced to move with the movement of the shoe. It rolls forward and propels you forward! The only problem is that the inside is a little hard but that's the only problem I have found.

I bought these clogs to wear during a professional conference, where I'd do more walking in three days than I normally do in three weeks. Normally, these situations make my feet hurt a lot, but in the Danskos, I experienced no pain at all, and didn't even get any blisters. They're very comfortable and nice for walking. The strap across the top of the instep was uncomfortably tight for the first week or so, but now that the clogs are broken in, it's fine. As a women's 8.5-9, I originally ordered a 39, but it was too small (thanks to Zappos for such a painless return process!). The 40s fit well.

You can walk a million miles in Dansko's. This is my second pair of dansko's, and admittedly, they aren't the prettiest shoes out there, but I wear them a lot because they are so dang comfortable. When I got my first pair, the feel of the shoe was strange because there is a lot of room in the heel, but that is really how the shoes fit and they don't actually fall off.

Dansko-Comfort and Style Combo - While this isn't the shoe to wear when you want to vamp your man, it's the perfect shoe to wear when you need to keep up with him for a day of vacation sightseeing. Providing more support and style than a tennis shoe, this is Cinderella's answer to upgrade pants,jeans or a long skirt for a day on the town. And, even though you need to order up a size, the upturned toe and tapered heel actually make your foot look smaller. Bottom line: Wear this slipper all day, and your feet (and back)will be ready for that pair of glass slippers tonight.

Great Shoe - I love Dansko shoes and this is a great option for rainy, wet weather. Very comfortable and looks great. One caveat--I ordered two pairs - red and black, size 38. The red, though marked 38 fit like a 39.

Ugly but OK - I bought these shoes on the recommendation of a friend who also stands all day at work. They have held up "OK" for my 11 hour "on my feet" shifts but they are painfully ugly to me, and rub just a little bit on the side where the opening of the shoe starts.

Maybe a little TOO much support? Thanks to Zappos for quick and easy service; had the shoes in two days. :) I have always liked the look of the Dansko professional shoe and after hearing (and reading!) many compliments, decided to invest in a pair. I wear 8-8.5 shoes generally and my feet tend towards wide. I have a pair of 39's which were pretty tight initially but are getting better. I found the shoes to rub my baby toes but I'm covering them with bandaids prior to wearing in the hopes the shoes will stretch more. The sole is very supportive but seems almost too hard at times; perhaps too much support for more "normal" feet. I have received many compliments on the shoes, and everyone likes the color (Cordovan). I'm hoping they will continue to loosen.

I Like the shoe, however I did not anticpate that the "break-in" period would last so long. I have another pair of Dankso Cabrio (Oiled version) that I bought several years ago, I don't remember that I had any pain at all with my first pair.

My feet look small!!! Wearing a size 10 (40) my feet always seem to look huge. For the first time in my life my feet look small!! I love these shoes with jeans. I am still trying to stretch the leather out, I have some pain on the instep of only my left foot (I guess it must be bigger than the right). I usually wear a size 9.5-10 and went with a 40. I've tried a 41 before and they felt like clown shoes, so I think stretching is my only solution. I thought thinner socks would help this some, but I found thicker socks to be more comfortable.

Still breaking in after 4 months? Too bad no half sizes! These are my first pair of Danskos. I bought them about 4 mos ago and wear them frequently. I'm happy with the look -- they add height while still feeling pretty stable, and I wear them with jeans, pants, and jean skirts too -- but I feel like I am still breaking them in. Like others, I feel pain across the top of my foot after wearing them a while. I'm going to try stretching them out like some other reviewers did. Although when I slip them on I feel like I could walk in them all day, after a while the bottoms of my feet get VERY sore, but this seems to be gradually getting better. (The salesperson at the store where I bought them encouraged me to size down, and explained that the insole compresses A LOT as you wear them. She was right, to a point, but I'm still waiting for these to loosen up some more. I wear a 7.5, and the 38's were way too huge.) Next time I'll get them through Zappos!

Happy so far - The Dansko profesional has good arch support, and I am hoping that it reduces some significatn foot pain. The initial feel is good with some discomfort across the top of my foot. I am assuming that will go away once the shoes are broken in. I normally wear a 9.5 - 10 wich would convert to a 40, buat after trying them on somewhere I found that I needed a 41. It is very roomy and feels good on my feet.

Good winter selection - I purchased the Dansko Professional Cabrio so that I could continue to wear clogs in snowy and wet weather, and am pleased with my choice. I generally wear a 6W shoe, so the clog is a bit tight across the instep, but I am sure that it will loosen up with wear. As a clog wearer, it does not bother me that the back of the shoe does not grip the heel.

Dansko - Looks great but still trying to "break them in."

Great purchase - I was a bit concerned that I had ordered too small a size, but I put the shoes on this morning and have been happy ever since. I usually wear either a 36 or 37 European size, so I ordered 37. These are clogs with a heel cover, not a regular shoe, so the wearer should be warned that the heel is not going to stay in place, as it would with a shoe. The toe box is a tad dorky, but feels wonderful. The "patent" finish is just slightly shiny and would not upset the nuns who taught me in grade school. This is the first time I've ordered from Zappos and was thrilled with the fast service.

The "Shoe Critic" I was so tempted to buy these shoes, especially after hearing great things about them at work. However, after two years in nursing school, and two years previous to that working as back office staff for a chiropractor, no shoes worked for me. Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Sketchers, Reebok, you name it, I tried it. Multiple recommendations from Doctors, coworkers, etc. Made me take the plunge. I loved how they looked. At first, they felt really tight on the top of my foot. I stuck it out though, for two weeks, 80 plus hours in these shoes. I couldn't be happier. Seriously, these are the only shoes I will ever buy for work again! I am just starting my Nursing Career, and this really has made it an enjoyable start!

They feel a half size smaller than marked - Love these shoes--if you get closed ended clogs, they really do feel a half size smaller than marked. If they have an open end, go with your normal size.

I was excited to try this clog, it looked really great. But unfortunately it was not enough support for me. I wear orthotics and couldn't wear the shoe without them. They didn't fit right with the orthotics in them either. I've had good luck with Birkenstocks without orthotics in the past, but was looking for something a little more stylish.

At work, tons of people wear these shoes, and even though I thought they looked a little elfish, I decided to give them a try. They're incredibly comfortable!!! I can't live without my Danskos now. I highly recommend them, but be sure to order a size higher than you normally would, as they run quite small. Enjoy

Excellent working shoe - These shoes are so comfortable, they just tend to run a little small. However, I can stay on my feet all day with little pain. I work for an orthopedic foot surgeon and we recommend these to most of our patients.

These are a really beautiful shade and look fun while also being polished and professional. The shoes are fairly comfortable - I've had some small problems with rubbing against my littlest toes, but I think that's due to a change in the way I walk (I recently broke a foot and am recovering). I'm quite sure that as I heal and as I break in the shoes I won't have that problem any more. I was also delighted with the height of the shoes. I feel much taller, but the heels are still very stable and I haven't tripped despite being used to wearing very flat shoes only. I live in a very walking-oriented city and I think the Dansko clogs were a wise choice.

Quite comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 9.5 but need a 41 in this shoe. Zappos is so great about exchanging sizes and the free fast shipping is is wonderful. This was my first Dansko shoe purchase; the arch support and overall loose fit took a little getting used to.

So Comfortable - As a teacher, I am on my feet all day. These are such comfortable shoes, and even ten year-old boys think they look cool! The one problem is that after a couple of weeks the coloring has already worn off of the staples.
