Comfortable for those with flat feet. Just cover the ankle bone so they meet but do not exceed requirements for motorcycle training. Harder to tie tight than boots with cleats for upper part of lacing. Since finish is not matte, may scuff up with wear.

Very comfortable. I could walk in them all day.

I wear New Balance 10-4E. Based on the reviews, I ordered this in size 10.5-4E. The fit is good. I decided I wanted black instead of brown. I need to see how they perform during a typical winter day.

Good for snow walking.

These were nice boots but I had to return them because they pinched my toes when I walked (I wear an EXOSYM orthotic device). I liked the higher top for ankle support.

Using these in the garden and light hiking. My thrid pair of Dunhams on this last. They wear well and are comfortable for my big, wide feet. Waterproofing holds up well.

This is my second pair of these. I work in an office but I still like wearing boots for more ankle support. Since I wear narrow shoes, my choices are really limited to Dunham and New Balance. I always wear 14B in New Balance but with the Dunham's, I sometimes wear a 13B but other times I need a 14B. In this shoe the 13B fit. I just order a 13B and 14B and return the one that doesn't fit.

The Dark Brown leather feels and looks sort of like NuBuck. This was unexpected, but I'll see if they polish up with my usual Kiwi Shoe polish after wearing them for awhile. I have a pair of these from years ago in the discontinued Light Brown or Tan color which is a pebbled leather.

Fit perfect, the leather feels real smooth and like it'll hold up in the rain and water.

I have a diabetic foot condition and require 6E width, hard to find in Canada. Zappos filled the bill with these shoes. Much appreciated.

These are nice looking boots that are very comfortable. They are somewhat narrow so I returned them to get a wide. Fast service. I received my new pair before I had sent the other ones back. Zappos is fantastic! I will buy more from them in the future.

I wear a size 12B shoe, and am flat footed. I am always very careful with the shoes I buy...almost exclusively Allen Edmonds (recommended by my podiatrist), as I badly need a quality shoe. I work in law enforcement and needed a quality boot. While this boot cannot possibly match the quality of my shoes, I have to say it really does the job for me. Excellent fit, very good quality. After 9 and even 17 hour tours, my feet usually feel pretty good; though sometimes my heel is a bit sensitive. Definitely recommended.

This shoe is so cute! The problem is that it just isn't comfortable. The footbed is hard and flat. For what you are paying for this shoe, it should be comfortable.

Finding boots in a narrow width is extremely difficult. I consider these to be more of a work boot than a hiking boot. I have been using these boots around the house on several projects everything from Sheetrock finishing, painting, fence building and yard work and they have performed well. I would prefer if the sides of the tongue attached higher to improve the water proofing. As they are now if you hose the shoes off you can get some water in the shoe around the tongue. All in all a very good boot for the price.

6E width is a real 6E, I have several pairs of Drew 6E shoes and this feels about the same width and length. The insole is fairly stiff but not hiking boot stiff, feels like it will be a good walking shoe.

Good water resistance. Soft and supple. Good for people with extra-wide feet. Good price. Overall recommended.

I needed a sturdy shoe to wear when visiting job sites. Having a narrow foot makes it difficult to find shoes or boots. Decided to give this a try. The upper part of the shoe is a bit stiff at first. I wore around the house a bit then decided to start wearing a few hours on the weekends to break in. Didn't take long and now can wear comfortably all day. This is not a replacement for a work shoe but for job site visits it works well.

These shoes are comfortable. They seemed small - I ended up with a size one up from my norm and also wider than I usually buy.

Very happy with these boots. The weather turned bad right after I got them, and they held up nicely. Took a little breaking in, but I think they'll last a good long time.

These fit well and so far have been comfortable enough to wear all day.

The fit on the Dunham Addison is true to size in my 4E width. The shoe is light weight and appropriate for my casual work environment. I'm sure the water resistance will be adequate as the shoe is well seamed.

I had just bought another pair of Dunham boots that were like slippers and I hoped these would be the same. Unfortunately one shoe feels at least a half size bigger. They feel comfortable and needed no break in but if I don't keep the laces tight they flop around. They are not as stylish as the other pair either. Disappointed overall because they do seem a quality shoe.

I was looking for a mid cut walking/hiking boot that was light weight and waterproof. A salesperson suggested the Dunham Addisons. I wear a 15 4E so choices were somewhat limited. This really wasn't the style I was looking for, but when I received them, I was pleasantly surprised! They were comfortable from day one! The fit/sizing is accurate. I've been wearing them for a couple weeks now and they feel better every day! I added an insert to help with my nearly flat feet as the arch that comes with the Dunhams is not very high. I like the fact that they also look good enough to wear out to dinner.
