or whatever reason this shoe does not fit properly though all indications are that it is true to size. I have a pair of Tevas purchased last year that fit terrific from day one, and though I bought these shoes to hike I cannot do that or it will kill my feet. BTW, Zappos has been terrific in their service since I exchanged another pair of shoes to get these. Maybe the situation is isolated to me, but that's where we stand currently.

Nice fitting very light weight shoe. Rigid outsole provides plenty of support, insole could be a little stiffer as after some extended walking I was able to begin to feel the lug pattern on the sole of my feet. However, I was able to alleviate that by replacing the insole with PowerStep insole and now the shoes are 'snap'!

Nice and wide shoe which is good, because other Teva shoes I've tried are a bit narrow for my somewhat wide feet. I usually wear a D width shoe because EEE width is way too roomy.
The security of the fit could be better by creating one more lace eyelet toward the toes. I find it a bit hard to get the shoes snug enough with the laces.

Great looking shoe and would be perfect except runs too narrow and only offers one width. Had to return though tried two different sizes.

After a year and 3 months of daily wear mainly for trails, dog walking and walking in general they have begun to wear thin in the heals but most importantly the side support have begun to loose it's containment. Probably because there's no additional stitching or pattern to maintain side wall support of the shoe, it wouldn't matter if the laces were tied tight. In rain it doesn't provide grip on trails too, now not because they were wearing thin on the soles but slipping would occur a few months into wear. They are expensive for not providing side wall support as it's mainly cloth which wears out and loosens over time.

These have got to be the stiffest pair of teva's I have ever come across. They seem well made with tough materials. However, its not a supportive stiffness, its just a plain stiffness that shouldn't be with a one hundred and forty dollar shoe! Furthermore, the rubber toe guard is so hard it presses down on my toes and does not allow much movement. Over-priced!
