Repeat purchase for my eight year old. He loves the shoes, but hates having to deal with the laces. Besides that, these classics are awesome!

Zappos delivery was great, fast, perfect as always. The shoes are what they are- classic, a pain to put on, and they start to break sooner than I'd like, but my daughter loves them.

Converse sneakers seem to run a bit big. My teenage daughter wears a 5 1/2 women's shoe and can still wear a kids size 3. She needed these for a dance class/recital though she likes to wear them other times as well. Not a running or gym shoe for sure though. Low support.

The brand alone is always going to be about 1/2-1 Full size bigger which I like for kids. I gave it a 4 only because for the first time I recovered a pair of shoes that the bottom of the shoe was a little torn and I had to glue the material back down and keep it from tearing sin my son walks and runs a lot. Great shoe and I love ordering from Zappos.com.

My five year old adores her pink High-Tops. She has had several pairs of slip-on Chucks, but we told her she could not have high-tops until she could tie her own shoes. Talk about incentive! As with all Chucks, there is no arch support and little cushioning, but they are great for the school and playground. She just cannot walk all day in them like she can her Keens. And, as with other Chucks, they run about a size smaller. She is in 11s or 12s in most shoes, but these are 10½s. Also, we leave the top set of eyelets unlaced, because otherwise the top of the shoe rubs her calf uncomfortably. Plus it looks cooler that way!

The shoes are half size larger! It's sad because even if I order the right size (my third order), it won't arrive on time anymore because the shipping is now slower than usual.

love converse all stars! as suggested, we originally ordered size 1.5, a half size down from my 8.5yo son’s actual measurements (21cm), but they were too small. we exchanged for size 2.5, a half size up from his measurements, and they are perfect. the exchange process was painless and quick to arrive! thanks brian!

The size runs about 1/2 size to a full size larger than expected. My 8 year old was growing out of her size 2 sneakers so we ordered a 2.5 and she was able to lift her foot out of the tied shoe. We ordered a 2 and they were still too big. My daughter loves the sneakers so we've ordered a 1.5 and 1, one of them will fit!

my son wears 2.5, so I ordered size 2.5 and size 3, but when they arrived, the two are the same size when compared together, and is way too big for my son. I have to return it. need to reorder smaller size to see. this is for his dance performance, and the teacher asked for this style.

The shoe I received was not true to size at all. It was HUGE! My son normally wears a 2 little kid, and before I purchased I converse I went as far as checked the size chart and took a tape measure to my son's foot to make sure I was ordering the correct size. But when the show arrived it was so big. he was able to wear the shoes once, but we will have to save them for next year.

Cute, affordable, but very narrow for a kid's sneaker. My son has a normal width foot, normal instep. While he likes the look of the shoe, he tells me that the fit is snug on his foot -- not lengthwise, but in the width. It is too cold for him to wear the shoes yet, but a comment like that makes me worry about his comfort. I guess we'll find out come spring whether or not we need to buy another pair of shoes.

Exchanging for the same size. They fit in length, but the left shoe has a faulty tongue, so the laces will not fit through the tongue strap.

It was great for a day. One of the silver grommets came off the second day. I was actually hoping for a refund or exchange

Perfect fit! We have been wearing chucks for a while now so we knew which size to get. Perfect for school and all points in between!

These shoes are so popular, but I have no idea why. My 10 year old daughter wanted them despite me telling her they won't fit right. They are always way bigger than the size states and they make everyone's feet look huge and they have no arch support whatsoever. My daughter wears a 2.5 and these made her look like she had giant clown shoes on. I do love the vibrant colors though.
