I was so excited to order these shoes... I wore them yrs ago and I've been looking for a pair that would look like the desert Boots that I wore in the 70s... I was disappointed that the size which would have been my regular normal size was way too small I do want to exchange them I still want these shoes

Unfortunately, as several other reviewers have noted, this boot runs very small. My experience was that it was not only too narrow, but also way too short. I also experienced the same problem that others did re: their not being enough room in the instep to even get my foot into the boot. I have quite slender feet, and they certainly are not "thick" in depth. I am quite disappointed, as I have been searching for a comfortable desert boot for some time.

The appearance of this boot is really great, but like some other reviews, it is SO narrow and tight, especially right across the mid section. I always wear a size nine very comfortably. I could barely get these size nine boots on. Like another reviewer mentioned, it would be so great if Clark’s made these in a wider width. I had to return them. So sad because they are really sharp looking.

These desert boots look great, but just try to get them on! So stiff and the sizing is way off. Returning.

Nice leather but much smaller than size should be and narrow. Also there's a fixed half shoe insert glued in and my shoe insert couldn't fit on top of it. Sticky sole of shoes would be a problem too, very sticky even brand new! I think these shoes need to go back to the drawing board, I don't recommend them.

I was really excited for a practical women's boot from Clarks, but these are among the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. The top of the toe box is so rigid that it's nearly impossible to get your foot into them, and it digs into your foot when you walk. I'm guessing they'd loosen up as you wear them, but the other problem is that there is some kind of oddly shaped/positioned gel cushion in the heel that hits mid-heel and makes it feel like you are walking with something stuck in your shoe. I am baffled that anyone can find these comfortable.

I bought these boots because of the reviews, they look like the picture, however they are very small, I am a 6½-7, I ordered the 7 and they are very tight no support, the upper outside of the boot dig into your ankles. In time they may soften but way too expensive to break in for comfort.

I love this boot - but it is super stiff and hard to walk in. It's looks soft - but is not.

I don't know what happened to the quality of these shoes, but the most recent pair I purchased are falling apart. After a month the cheap shoelaces snapped, and now after 3 months of light wear both soles have holes in them. I will not be buying any Clarks shoes again after this pair.
