These shoes look great and feel great. Like all Dansko's they slide up and down a little which makes it difficult to wear hosiery with them. Work better with socks.

I have never had any shoe made by Dansko (have some imitation clogs) and desperately needed some black shoes for work. These shoes are wonderful...they are comfortable even given the heel, they fit great, and I can wear them all day with no problems. I normally wear an 8.5 and ordered the 39's and they fit well.

Great shoe. Lots of compliments when I wear them. Fits true to my usual clog size. Overall style is a little plain, but works well with pants, jeans and skirts.

I work on concrete floors, and I stand or walk for most of the day (8 hours). I have high arches, and lately, I have been experiencing heel and foot pain with my regular shoes. The first day, I wore these for only 2-3 hours. They felt very good. I am now wearing them all day and the comfort is still very good. At the end of the day (and probably somewhat due to my high arches), I sometimes experience a bit of an ache just under the strap. But, overall, my feet feel fine after a full day standing. I have received many compliments on this shoe, they look fabulous with everything from jeans to skirts and dresses, and I am very pleased with them.

When I say I'm traumatized these didn't fit me I mean it! They are so cute and stylish and unfortunately too tight . I wear a 12.5 and the size 43 in closed Dansko shoes just isn't working for me (open shoes it's fine). Unfortunately they don't make 44 in women's styles so I'm up the creek but trust me if my foot fit into these shoes I would be so happy because they are so cute! Sigh.

These are nice quality shoes and I like the style very much, however I usually wear a 10 and had to return them because they were too tight. I thought the next size up was perfect when I first tried them, but after spending the day walking in them I ended up with a blister. Certainly not the shoe's fault, but the sizing is off on these. I still like the shoes, but will have to protect against blisters next time!

These shoes are very stylish, I work for the airlines and am on my feet for long periods of time, they took some breaking in, but eventually I was able to wear them for a 13 hour day.

Very cute shoes. They look great with pants or dress. I've worn them 3 times for 10 hours, mostly on my feet. Comfortable during the first few hours, but the strap is tight on me and could be uncomfortable where I have to change into different shoes for the commute home. Hopefully they'll loosen up. Will keep them

I had written an earlier review where I gave this shoe 5 stars; however, now that I've had this shoe for about 8 months, the leather is starting to peel from the top of both of my shoes. I'm not sure if it's a defective shoe, but for this much it shouldn't be peeling. Aside from that, I simply adore this shoe.

The thick band stuck up and made the shoe look like it was too big for my foot. Like I was wearing my big sister\'s shoes. So I sent this back. I wonder, if you have slender feet this is not the shoe for you?

These shoes are very stylish and look great with dresses, skirts, or pants. It is very difficult for me to find a pair of shoes with heels that will be comfortable on my feet. These are probably the best I will find, yet I can only give them 3 stars for comfort. This is due to my own feet problems (bunions), and probably should not be blamed on the shoe. So please keep that in mind when using my review to help you decide. I would only say that if you have bunions, you know what I mean and you should proceed with caution. The nice thing with Zappos is that you can always order, try them on, and if you’re not satisfied return them at no charge.

The strap not adjustable, but is sewn on with very strong elastic. I usually wear a 7 but the strap was so tight I could not get my foot in the shoe. Most of the Danskos I've tried on are tight across the top of the foot - do not buy this brand if you have a high arch/foot!
