Great shoes, as all Danskos are. I've never had a pair that I didn't love. I wear them for 3-12 hour shifts a week, oftentimes it's 3 in a row. I can't do that in any other shoe, except for Frye boots, but can't wear them to work. Highly recommended!

These shoes are great. The fit is perfect and I can wear them 12+ hours a day and my feet still feel great. I have been wearing Dansko\'s for over 10 years both for work and play. They are awesome.

These shoes were very comfortable while working in the hospital setting with all of the walking, standing, and sometimes running that has to be done as a nurse. Thank you Dansko for another great product! I will be purchasing your product from Zappos again.

I love Danskos, but it's always tough for me to get the right fit with the traditional style. I've been told time and time again that, when fitting properly, Danskos should allow your foot to rise and fall slightly out of the back of the shoe. With other styles, my heel is either too snug or it was lifting completely out of the back and causing the shoe to practically fall off. The "Solstice" fits me just right. The extra cushion in the foot bed is super-comfy and appeals to me more than the traditional Dansko shoe, which lacks cushion. A few people mentioned that their socks were slouching (I assume from the slight rise and fall of the heel); that doesn't happen to me (maybe my socks are better fitting at top, not sure). I typically wear a 6.5 and bought the 37. I had to try on two pairs before finding the perfect fit. The reddish color is very nice, a deep burgundy, with a nice sheen.

Usually Danskos don't fit me because they are too wide for my feet. But this model, with it's nice perfectly placed high arch, is so perfect. The first pair of shoes I wear every single day to work. If your foot is long and narrow and you have high arches, I would highly recommend this model.

I ordered a full size larger (after reading reviews) and although they are wonderful, they are too big. My usual Danskos are 42s, so I ordered 43s but I have an extra inch to inch and a half at the back (which would be okay if they were open backs). Anywho, shoes looks to be made well, and same arch support as my other Danskos. I can see where the top part of the shoe might be tight in my normal size, but I have wide, big feet to begin with. Overall, great shoe, but I felt it was sized right.

I am a huge Dansko fan so when I saw a new more updated style I had to get these shoes. Of course, they are VERY comfortable. I love that the newer styles are made with slightly lighter weight material in the heel of the shoe. If they were not so expensive, I would own many more colors of this shoe.

Love, love, love them!! Comfortable from the very beginning. One thing to take into consideration: I wear a size 5 and ordered the 5.5-6 which is perfect. I think the smaller size would have been too tight.

I am so pleased with this style I bought two pair: one for work (the Sienna style) and one for play (the Solstice style). Of all the Dansko shoes I have owned, I think these are among the most comfortable.

These shoes are very comfortable and I am on my feet about 10-12 hours a day at my job. They are a little more 'boxey' than I was hoping for and I did get one comment asking me if they were 'tap boots' but overall I am very satisfied with the product. This is my 4th pair of Danskos.

Super high quality and comfort. I know from past Dansko purchases that I can wear these shoes every day for the whole season and they will barely show any wear. I bought them for my 10 block walk to my office in Downtown Portland, Oregon this winter. The soles are thick and waterproof enough for the rainy walk. Danskos are amazing shoes. Worth every penny.

Ordered these on Wednesday, they arrived Thursday and I am wearing them at work on Friday. I read most of the reviews. I am a long time Dansko wearer with at least 20 pairs. They do fit a little bit narrower than the standard Danskos but for me (a 39), this is great. They stay on better and are super looking! I have gotten a ton of compliments today on them. I was planning for they to be jeans or pants shoes, but they will look super with a skirt and tights. The blue I purchased is a really nice navy. Now I am trying to decide if I need another color as well.....

I purchased these shoes on Zappos after seeing them and trying them on at my local shoe store (they don\'t carry the cordovan, which I wanted). They do run smaller-but they also have a different, more feminine shape than traditional Danskos. I wear a 37 normally (my feet tend to run about 6.5 - 7), but I found that the 38\'s fit best. They are also more lightweight than regular Danskos, which is nice, as people can generally hear me coming a mile away when I am wearing my Mandolins. FYI-the blue color is quite nice, not too dark, and not too light. Overall, a great casual, and slightly feminine shoe.

These shoes are very nice looking. I'm debating to send them back. I do have another pair of Dansko shoes that fit perfect, but these seem a bit short or they are just a little bit narrower then my other ones are. So I haven't worn them around the house very much which I'm going to do. Maybe it's just getting used to them and they may give more. I buy 40 my size is 9.5 and I really think if I went up in size they would be too big. I hope I don't have to send them back because I really like the looks of them.

I recently purchased my second pair of Danskos. I love them! They are comfortable from the moment I put them on and I can wear them for hours. The information provided was very helpful in getting the correct size. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I love these shoes. They do not slip up and down on my heels, they are not heavy and they feel nice around the toe area. I wore them to work the very next day. I'm going to order another pair, this time in Brown. And as always, thanks Zappos for the speedy shipping. You're the best!

These shoes are awesome. Very comfortable right from the start. I was a little concerned that the heel was too loose when I first tried them on (I have a narrow foot), but they haven't given me any problems at all. This is a very versatile shoe that looks equally great with jeans or dress pants.

I have always loved Dansko and have always worn a 38. I ordered these in a 38, but had to return them for a 39. I have found the newer style Danskos are shorter. Also, if you have wide feet, these will be tight on you. These barely fit my narrowish feet. Beautiful style and usual Dansko quality.

I have been interested in Danskos for years, but even their "narrow" shoes have always been way too wide for my feet. These are the perfect fit in both length and width. I typically wear a 9 1/2 -10 in US sizing, and a 40.5 - 41 in Euro sizing; I purchased the 41 and they are just right. I wore these all day for the first two days I owned them and they are the kind of shoe where you forget you are even wearing a shoe. Up & down stairs, lots of walking, no problem. Wore them without socks one day and with socks the next; comfortable both ways because of the breathable innersole lining.The first reviewer mentioned that hers were very tight; I am wondering if this is because this style is so much narrower/tapered than a typical Dansko? Which is great for people like me who have been waiting for a fit like this, but probably not so much for people who are used to the fit of the Professional or other Dansko styles. Plus, these are just really nice looking shoes. I've been wearing them with jeans and they're great, but I can't wait for fall weather so I can wear them with skirts and tights as well. As I mentioned, I wear a large size and these do not make my feet look like boats. Very flattering. Two thumbs up from me!

Surprisingly, these Danskos have some break in time. I have worn Danskos for quite a while and rarely dealt with a break in period. I wore these the first week, and my feet felt like I was wearing new shoes. The size was correct, the width was correct. They just needed to adjust to my feet and feel better after just a week.
