Great pair of boots! Good fit, mobility, and warmth.

I have had a pair of these for many, many years - I would guess 8 to 10 years. They have held up great until this year when the rubber on the back cracked and they no longer keep my feet dry and warm. I might order another pair as I definitely got my wear out of them. One of my feet is size 10 and the other is 9.5. I had size 9 and that was perfect. I definitely recommend them as got my money out of them. The quarry color is pretty. The fur keeps snow out which is a plus. I get lots of compliments on them.

These boots are holding up in Syracuse winter. Super warm and comfortable enough to wear all day to class. Definitely worth the money! They do run small. I wear 8.5 and needed a 9.

I have just moved to Milwaukee from Dallas. Though I grew up in Chicago, I haven't lived in a cold climate for 22 years. I have been slowly "gearing up" because I can remember the pain of cold fingers and toes. Well, I have been in Milwaukee for 4 weeks and it has been snowing for 3 of them. Top it off with today's record cold. I cannot believe how comfortable and warm my feet are. I wear these boots every day and have had zero problems with them. I love them. THANK YOU!

I have had these boots for three winters and they have seen some serious action. I'm outside often shoveling our super long driveway, in addition to other outdoor activities. I see reviews where people are complaining that these boots are not as warm as advertised. A big tip that I learned from a lot of pre-purchase research is that you want to go at least a half size up, or even a full size, from your usual shoe size. You will want there to be a bit of space in the boot between your foot (and ideally a quality wool sock). It seems counterintuitive, but that helps lock in the heat. If your boot is fitted, well, thick socks are only going to make them more ineffective. Feel free to check my research, but if you go up in size, you won't be disappointed in how cozy and durable these boots can be

I had been without winter boots for an entire cold season and it absolutely killed my feet. Being a Michigan native, not having snow boots is signing yourself up for ice cold toes and misery. Also, being a college student, I spend/spent a lot of time in my day commuting to and from class in freezing cold weather. Needless to say, it sucked. This year I wanted to buy myself some really nice boots that would actually last multiple years and were as cute as they were functional. Enter the Joan of Arctic boot! First of all, let me say, I LOVE these boots. They come up most of my calf so they keep my legs as well as my feet warm and cozy whether I wear thin socks or thick ones. I am the type that doesn't avoid the snow when I walk around so the fact that they are waterproof is a huge plus! I am normally a size 8 1/2, but i bought a 9 just to be sure I could double up on socks if I needed to and the boots do seem to run true to size. If you're still considering buying these boots, I would highly suggest it! I love them and they definitely do their job!

Just came back from my trip to a below zero country. The boots kept my feet warm and was able to stay outdoor longer. True to size and very comfy.

I just bought these boots at Christmas. This is my second pair of snow boots from Sorel and my fourth pair of boots I have purchased from them. I love this brand! My first pair of snow boots is over 25 years old and I can still wear them but was ready for a new pair. 3 years ago I decided to try another brand. Big mistake, after 3 years they split wide open so here I am going back to Sorel. These boots are solid, sturdy, warm and very waterproof. You can't go wrong with this brand.

This boot is everything Sorel says it is and more! I wore mine for the 1st time this morning walking my dog (1st time it has snowed since I ordered/received them). My feet were toasty and dry as a bone the entire walk. I intentionally walked in the snow on people's grass rather than the sidewalks so I could 1)really test their waterproof-ness and 2) not hit an icy spot on the sidewalk in the dark! These Caribou boots are comfortable (they do feel like boots...if you want them to feel like house shoes, stay home in your house shoes! :) . They are easy to walk in, easy to put on and off, and have treads on them to keep you sure footed and safe. I got the Shale/Stone color and they are really cute, too! I would not hesitate to wear them anywhere! I cannot say enough about these fabulous boots except why did I wait so long to order them!!??! Sorel has a wonderful reputation and I am here to attest that their reputation is well deserved. I read the reviews and saw that most said they run a little big. I normally wear an 8 1/2 so I ordered an 8. They fit like a dream so, my opinion, order a half size smaller than your normal. Thank you Sorel! I'll be ordering more and different boots and shoes because I'm so thrilled with these!!

I had been looking for a new winter boot for about a year and had my eye on the Joan of Arctic. I got them for Christmas this year and am so happy with them. I live in Utah and spend a lot of time in the mountains both in Utah and Idaho. This winter we have gotten a ton of snow and there has been some bitterly cold days. These boots are so comfortable, warm and waterproof. The height is great for keeping my legs warmer and for shoveling and walking around in deep snow. My only qualm is that they run big. I am normally a 7.5 but had to size down to a 7. I may even be able to fit into a 6.5 but I wanted room for thick socks. Overall though, if you size down a half size, they are great boots! I would recommend them to anyone!

We are a Sorel family and I bought the Caribou's for our oldest son who wears a size 15! They are well made, warm and keep the Park City snow out! These are a sturdy, heavier boot and he really likes them. They are comfortable and fit true to size. The height are perfect for heavier snow. Thanks! (We bought size 15 and 16 and the 15's fit - very true to size).

I bought these for my mom for Christmas. She desperately needed winter boots but I wanted them to be fashionable so that she could wear them to and from work. She absolutely loves them! I know many other people that own these as well and have them as a must wear for winter.

This boot kept my feet very warm on our winter trips to Germany and Norway. Though appropriate socks are necessary, I was mostly content with simple cotton dress socks. One of the side snaps did come off, but that is only there for style and does not interfere with the boot itself. When getting the boots on and off for the first couple of times, be sure to unlace the boots pretty well as it can be slightly tricky to put the boot on without unlacing properly. The fit was true to size and still left a little room in the toes for thicker socks.

The boots are true to size. Very high quality, attractive and provide the protection needed in cold climates. I loved them so much I bought a pair for my daughter.

I bought these just to visit canada and these did not fail me, my feet stayed nice and warm! :)

I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but after they were delivered all my fears we're gone! They are light (weight-wise), cute and fit true to size. They are a little big with normal socks on, but just right with winter socks. They aren't "snowboarding boots" at all, maybe structured a little rigid, but not bulky or heavy at all. I'm heading to northern Nunavut in six weeks for work, so I'll have to update after then for functionality in severe/extreme cold (-40 and more).

I had purchased a pair of these boots 5 years ago for walking around my Minnesota campus and they have been absolutely amazing. I would always wear a thicker sock as they ran a bit large: I'm typically a true 6 so that's what I ordered. After my boots experienced tragedy by being chewed on by my dog, I knew I had to re-order and went half a size down. I'm happy the say the quality is just as phenomenal, and they fit even better in the new size. Living in snowy, cold Minnesota, these are a must!

These were a Christmas gift for my husband, He has an old pair that he has had for 20 years! I know they are not made in Canada anymore, So far the only difference seems to be that thses dont look quite as bulky as his old ones and his old ones were actually a totally different size. I went with what he wears in regular shoes now and the fit perfectly. I hope these last as long as the other ones. I will let you know. So far he is very happy and excited to have a new pair :)

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. She goes to school in Vermont and things get very cold there. She absolutely loves them. She says they are very comfy and fit perfectly. Not only that but the are pretty cute! Now I want a pair :)

I love these boots. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I usually take and they fit great. After the first tromp in the woods, the felts packed to fit my feet perfectly. My last sorels lasted 38 years before the soles wore down enough to lose traction on ice. I'm hoping these hold out as well.
