I had the same winter boots for over 10 years so it was time to finally get a new pair! I wanted a pair that was warm, comfy and could stand up to the crazy weather in New England. I was a little nervous ordering online because I was afraid of sizing issues and saw mixed reviews. However, I followed the sizing guidelines and measured my foot and ordered my actual true size which is a 5.5. Even with my thickest wool socks they fit fine. They are extremely warm, cozy and even stylish! I will say getting the boots on and off can be challenging not because the boot doesn't fit because there is an elastic at the base of the tongue that keeps it snug to your foot no matter how much you loosen the laces. So if you have wider feet I would size up a half size.

Disclaimer: I'm a size 8, and ordered an 8.5 -- which I regret, as the boots wound up being a tad too large for me, even with a double layer of wool socks. HOWEVER: I was out in Anchorage for about a week volunteering for the Iditarod. and these boots were very comfortable. The fact that they were just a bit too large didn't impede function at all. I was outside traipsing around in snow 90% of the time, and not only did these boots keep my feet totally warm, but dry.

I am so glad I bought these boots!! They are beautifully styled and do the job they were designed to do. They are so warm and toasty I couldn't believe I was walking through snow! I got plenty of compliments too! I'm glad I listened to advice to get a half size smaller because that worked out well. They are very roomy! I'm normally a 7 1/2 but got a 7. Also I didn't find them too heavy at all. I can't say enough good things about these boots, they're just perfect. I got the black colourway.

I live in CA and we've had some colder weather with wet days. I'm going to bring these boots camping with my daughter. The style and size are great.

This is the first time purchasing Sorel boots. Normally I buy Timberland because I have been wearing forever and they also sell quality boots at an affordable price. However this year, I bought Sorels during their end of year sale and couldn't be happier. Great value at price and feels good on your feet.

This is my third pair of Sorel snow boots in the last 40 years, so I can say they are durable. The Caribou is the style I've worn for the last 20 years. I just bought the newest version. The new, improved sole provides superior traction on ice and snow. I think it's important that customers know that this boot snugs up tight against your legs or pants so even if you're in snow that's deeper than these boots your feet stay warm and dry, no snow will fall in to your boots, so you do not need a taller boot.

I purchased these to replace my husband's 20+ year old pair. They were replaced, not because of any defect, but because gel foot warmers had melted themselves into the boot. Here's to 20 years in the new pair!

I was looking for a more casual fitting boot to use around the resorts and around town while in Tahoe. I also wanted a boot that was easier to drive in. I also have the Sorel Conquest boots, which are a more substantial but stiffer boot. The Caribou boots are much easier to wear casually and are exactly what I was looking for. As for sizing, I wear a 10.5 in running shoes. I wear a 9.5 and 10 in dress shoes and chukka style boots. I tried a 9.5 and 10 in the Caribou boots and the 10 fit better.

I bought these in the gray. Fit is great with room for thick socks. Warm outside yet I wore them indoors without my feet sweating. I have received many compliments while wearing these boots. Would definitely recommend.

I bought these boots for a trip to Boston. The boots kept my feet warm all weekend long in the snowy weather . I had no trouble on the slippery sidewalks and they were extremely comfortable walking all day while I was sight seeing.

I LOVE these boots!! I am fairly petite, so the calf and ankle areas are too wide set for me. Also the foot sizing is larger/longer vertically, but narrow around the foot, I would suggest ordering a Half size smaller, which is what I'm doing! I can't wait to wear them!

These were recommended by a friend. Bought a pair for me and a pair for my daughter. We absolutely LOVE them! They look great on and keep our feet SO warm. Only boots I will ever buy again! We live in San Diego but go to Big Bear throughout the winter! Thank you Sorel!

I bought this boot to replace a similar pair that were 12 years old which have packed out a bit. They are warm, waterproof and very comfortable. I use them at work as a ski school greeter for the Breckenridge Ski resort. They look very attractive with my down skirt and tights. These are the BEST boots ever! I will take my old pair to VT where I have a second residence. I bought a half size larger so I could wear woolly socks with them.

We recently moved to Montana, and have had so much snow. I did not have any actual 'snow' boots, so I ordered these 'Joan of Arctic' boots! I am so happy I did, they are the warmest and driest shoes I have ever owned. I wear them snowshoeing, or just out hiking, and even to work. They are comfortable, and a great color as well. If these ever wear out, I would definitely want to buy another pair!!

These boots are the best! I got them a week before going skiing out West. They are the perfect thing to put on after a long day in ski boots, comfortable, warm, stable for getting through any snow. I got so many compliments and am so please with the way they fit and how stable they are on unstable ground.

The women's Caribou boots by Sorel came to my attention at just the perfect time! I live in Minnesota and this winter's been a doozy for shoveling and snow blowing. It used to be that I would stay fairly warm...except for my feet. These boots changed that! They are so comfortable and solidly built. Though I am definitely ready for Spring, the women's Caribou boots helped to make this winter much more enjoyable!

Received my boots last week and have been wearing them in minus double digit weather with the wind chill much colder here in Minnesota and they are the absolutely warmest boots! I had to replace my 25 year old pair of Sorel's finally and these are as warm if not warmer and lighter than my old pair. Totally happy with the purchase.

The online process is simple, the correspondence on status up dates for shipping and delivery are exceptional. These boots look and feel great on and are true to size, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My wife and kids are looking at all the options sorel has in foot ware and they will probably be purchasing in the near future

These boots have gone the distance this year! The coldest winter on record with wind chills -70, cold enough for the city to declare an emergency and close the city! My feet never got cold! Shoveling and snow blowing hours outside and toasty warm. Will always wear Sorels from now on!!!

Great boot. Was told to go up a half size to full size. I got 7.5 but my size is 7. I think I definitely could have gotten true to size as it is a bit loose but otherwise fantastic boot and nice and cozy warm.

I bought these because the boots I had been wearing since 2002 (a different brand) had finally given out. I hadn't worn Sorel's since the 1990's when I would go snowboarding as a teen. I forgot how amazing they are comfy, warm, waterproof. I honestly don't do a lot in them but shovel snow and walk, but they're very comfortable and I'd recommend them to anyone. I would say though, because they seem to run larger than my usual shoe size (10 mens in Vans) that you should make sure they fit you well. Definitely make sure they fit well if you plan to do a lot of outdoor activity like hiking and long walks on a regular basis to make sure you don't get a blister. Maybe go a half size smaller unless you're planning to wear thick socks. But one note about thick socks these boots are so warm! You really won't need them unless you're literally going to be in 40 below zero weather, or if your feet are perpetually cold.

Order these just in time for another snowstorm. My feet were kept warm and dry even during long periods outside. I ordered a 10 instead of my usual 9.5 just in case I wanted to wear an extra pair of thick socks. Based on them I could have ordered my normal size and been fine to have plenty of room for thick socks. Highly recommend. Very comfortable and durable.

I purchased these to wear next year during the end of season sale. I haven't purchased Sorel snow boots in decades. They appear to be well made and hopefully will be warm in the snow. I ordered a size 6, my normal shoe size in almost any shoe, and they fit fine. I can even wear a heavier sock. I didn't have any problem putting them on or taking them off.
