We live in northern Michigan and get many feet of lake effect snow each winter. I got my twin teenage girls these boots and they love them. They are stylish and warm, a difficult combination to find. They are lightweight also, which is a plus. Highly recommend these boots.

The best shoe and great looking, too. I not only wear them on cold days in Los Angeles, but I wear them after skiing. My feet are toasty warm. The shoe is much lighter and sleeker then most cold weather shoes. I feel like I am running around in tennis shoes. They fit great; I wear a 6 to a 6.5 and got the 6 as they run in full sizes.

After discovering that these boots were not available in my size locally, I tried Zappos. I should have started there, as I ordered them in the afternoon and had them the next morning! I couldn't believe it. In the middle of a snowstorm too. They have the usual Sorel toughness but with added fun. I get compliments everywhere I wear them.

I bought these boots for my daughter for Christmas. I ordered them shortly before Christmas, so I was nervous if they would get here in time. They got here in plenty of time, and the shipping was free. The company even offered free shipping to return them if she wasn't happy. I've never heard of any company offering free shipping to return an item. The boots are very well made and lightweight, which is important to her as she walks her dog every morning before work, in the snow and cold. I've owned a pair of Sorels for over 20 years, and they are still like new. They outperform any boots that I know of for warmth and durability.

I've bought several pairs of shoes from Zappos, and I have to praise its service and its customer service reps. This is one business I hope never changes how it treats its customers. I was looking at these Sorel boots and about to buy them, when my friends bought them for me for Christmas in a local store. Well, I absolutely love them. They are so good looking and so comfortable. I am very happy with them even though they could use a bit more arch support. But I can put in an orthotic to remedy that. So, I wrote this to give my thanks to Zappos for being a terrific business to deal with as well as to say buy this terrific boot from Zappos. You'll love the boots and the service! Although my feet are narrow, the boots fit really nicely and they are lightweight. Baltimore just got 20 inches of snow over the weekend and I had to dig out my car in non-winter shoes. I ordered the boots late Sunday afternoon and received the boots today (Tuesday); this is one day earlier than the estimated arrival time provided. Wonderful boots, wonderful shopping experience. In the future, I will consider more products from Sorel and will definitely return to Zappos.

I'm so excited about these! I have very hard to fit feet (one foot half size bigger than the other, wide foot & toe spread but narrow heels) and these felt great right out of the box. The toe box is very roomy and they fit great over my "cankles", but amazingly they're still not overly clunky looking. So far, walking around the house, there's no heel slippage (don't you hate when your socks end up around the bottom of your foot?). The laces are really easy, too, one tug at the top does it instead of having to adjust each level of laces. Can't wait to try these outside tomorrow in the 15" of snow we just got!

I ordered a pair of size 7 Torino and 6.5 Juneau. I returned the Juneau boots for several reasons. They were too large and not very comfortable for just trying them on. Also, there is a huge gap that exposes my shin when the wool legging is folded down. The Torino boots however are great! The size 7 fit my 6.5 foot very well. I recommend a heavy winter sock to have warm feet. I wore these out in a blizzard in NYC and had no problem walking, and keeping my feet dry and warm while sloping through several inches of slush. The one problem is that the back of my left heel and ankle is a little irritated and might need some break in time. These boots have also been getting tons of compliments on how cute they are. This is a great purchase!

I first bought the Helen of Tundra, but had to part with them because my calf was too big. However, I am glad I settled for these in red. I recently took a walk in the snow and jumped all over it even letting it come up to my knees and my feet were always warm and most importantly, dry. The patent leather helps ugly brown slush slip away easily so the boot always looks brand new. For snow boots they are really cute and light. They don't have a lot of arch support, but that's nothing major because inserts fit perfectly inside. For fashion obsessed ladies, these were also featured in Vogue magazine.

These are great! Not too bulky and keep your feet super warm! I am a nurse and these boots are not too bulky looking to wear with scrubs when walking into work. They fit true to size and width. If you have wide feet, they might be a little snug for you. I ordered the purple and the color is great! Almost a dark purple black color. I think they will match pretty much anything.

Love these shoes. I've already gotten several compliments on them and I've only worn them twice. Actually, almost everyone has commented on how much they like them. I bought the black ones.

These Sorel boots rock! They come in all sorts of cool colors and make a fashion statement, I recently saw and ad for them in Vogue magazine. They fit true to size, are warm and water repellent. I can't wait to wear them this winter. Thank you Zappos for excellent service! Just say the magic word Zappos and your shoes will be on your front doorstep the next day!

I live in Florida and I got these for my first winter in Minnesota (high of 8 degrees yesterday!). They're toasty and comfy and easy to get on and off. The only draw back is the decorative stitching on the top of the black rubber goes all the way through to the foot space, making them susceptible to leaking if you step into deep puddles. They look great with typical college attire (jeans, pajamas, etc.)

Got these in the orchid (purple stitching on black toes, white tops). Got size 9, I wear 8.5/9 normally. Super cute (loads of compliments) and very sturdy. Agree with posters who stated that they can be slippery. Went sledding and slushing around in the snow; did great except for on the icy parts. I almost ate it at the top of the snow park hill. But slushing around town was perfect. Waterproof, warm, and stylish. like old-school duck boots but edgier/cuter. Order them now, what do you have to lose? If they don't fit, send them back! If you hate them, send them back! If your husband yells at you for your shopping habit, send him back! Zappos is fabulous! Have ordered thousands of shoes, kept about three. Shopaholics dream!

I love these boots. They are warm and comfy once you break them in. The down side is that they are slippery on metal and some floors. If you take the subway in Washington DC (the metro), be warned that the boots are slippery on the subway tile and the escalator. I slipped and fell on the escalator. Luckily I held on to the railing so I didn't get hurt. Just be careful.

I bought these for a trip to Eastern Europe in the middle of winter snow season. I only wore them from the airport to the hotel while in Europe (I broke them in at home which I highly recommend on these shoes). They were comfy and warm. No leaks. I didn’t fall on the ice or anything. I didn’t wear them for the rest of the trip because I found them a little stiff and bulky. I say these feel half size smaller because I first tried them on without socks and they were perfect, but I know I would need socks on the trip so I traded for a size 11, which was too big, but worked fine- this might contribute to the bulky factor - but they are still rather stiff shoes.

These boots are so cute. Fit well. However, I found that they were not waterproof as described. Zappos is a great site. Thanks for that and helping me. I cant give them 5 stars because I wanted the waterproof for going to Ireland.

I bought these boots because I needed waterproof and warm boots for some outdoor activities I am involved in. The boots are waterproof and they are cute, however, they are not warm. I wore them to an outdoor event this past weekend with wool socks. It was 40 degrees outside - not all that cold for winter. My feet were frozen!!! The ankle part is warm with the fur, but the foot is not warm!

I wanted to love these, but my heel slipped too much in the back. They are very stylish and would have been perfect after ski boots, but they just didn\'t fit well enough for use in the snow. I usually wear an 8, sometimes a 7.5. I tried these in an 8 and the length was perfect, ordering any larger would not have fit.

I ordered a few pairs of Sorel boots at once from Zappos so I could find one I liked, and all the other ones fit my foot nicely, this one seemed significantly smaller than the others. I loved the soft lining, but the boot was too narrow.

What a disappointment! I thought I was getting Sorel quality with a little style, but I was wrong. These are no where close to the quality of any other Sorels I've seen or owned. They are flimsy, more fashion than function. It's a shame, because if Sorel threw their normal quality into these, that would have been neat.
