I bought this shoe for line dancing. It doesn't have as much support or protection for the bottom of the foot as some of the other Bloch styles, but is lighter and softer. I recently broke my little toe, and the soft fabric top makes it more comfortable to wear than other styles that rub on the side. The bottom of the shoe isn't as smooth as the Boost DRT style. I ordered the white and am wondering how I will clean the fabric top. I wear a 5 in a street shoe and a 5 1/2 in an athletic shoe. I know Bloch shoes run small, so I ordered both a 6 and 6 1/2 in this and found the 6 fit best. Although Zappos might not have the lowest price, their great selection, liberal return policies and two-way free shipping make them my favorite online shoe retailer.

I purchased these shoes for Zumba class and they are very comfortable and very good for dancing and pivoting, etc. However, in my Zumba class we do a lot of squats and I find that these shoes don't have enough traction for that particular exercise. These shoes do run very small, I normally wear a 7.5 in sneakers and I had to get these shoes in 8.5. These shoes look nice on the feet without the funny looking high arch some other dance shoes have.

I have worn dance shoes, ballet, ballroom, etc. and am very familiar with dance shoes. They tend to fit snug and more often than not run a 1/2 size smaller. I wear 6 1/2 dance shoes, but this Bloch model is a full size smaller. I tried the 6 1/2, 7, and finally 7 1/2. The sock insert of the shoe makes it much smaller. It's well constructed, flexible and offer light arch support, more for indoor than out. If you have not worn dance sneakers before, you might find it insubstantial. Haven't worn it in a dance class yet, can't wait to try! Bloch should label their sizes more accurately, would save a lot of trouble for everyone. Zappos was great though, made all the exchanges quickly and efficiently!

I bought these shoes as I am a Zumba fanatic, they are perfect for it as they are lightweight and flexible, which is great for minimal impact on the knees. I would recommend these shoes for any dance class.

I bought this specifically for Zumba. It is like night and day from trying to Zumba in an aerobic shoe. I can actually move (dance). It does run narrow. I did size up 1/2 size. This shoe is very light weight and flexible.

These do run small, I normally wear a size 6 but based on another review and the fact that a 6 wasn\'t available I ordered a 6.5 which turned out to be perfect. These shoes are lightweight and flexible but provide arch support and the soles work well for pivots and spins. I like them a lot.

Not for Zumba - I was looking for a shoe to wear to Zumba classes, but did not look carefully at the tread of this shoe. It doesn't have the smooth surface and pivot circle. It is extremely comfortable, cute and lightweight, if you want to use it for hip-hop or the other dances listed.

Too long and too tight at one size larger. I have purchased at least 6 pairs of Bloch shoes, all this same size. The other pair in the order is just fine!

Male that wears a street size 10, ordered a 12. Length good but too narrow to be comfortable, older man found shoe very hard to put on when you could not open up the shoe unlaced because of solid stretchy tongue sewn in.

Sized smaller, buy 1/2 size larger than normal. A bit slippery on wood floors.

These shoes run a lot smaller than marked. I wear size 4 street shoes and ordered size 5. Couldn't put my feet in. Will have to return them. Ryka Studio D looks a lot better and seems to have better quality.

These shoes help me move well in dance class. I bought a size and a half larger and they are okay in length but the width is still not enough. My feet are a D width, but these are built narrow.

These would have been the perfect shoes for Zumba, but they run so small and narrow, they kill my feet! They place very uncomfortable pressure on the front of the foot on the outer side, just at the ball of the little toe. Impossible to wear for more than an hour at a time. I wish I had read all of the reviews first, since the small sizing is mentioned. Not sure I would have believed it, though. I'm going to find another pair of Zumba shoes, but probably not these. I have no idea how big I would have to go, and there's no way to find out until I dance in them for an hour.

I was very disappointed with this shoe. On the picture it looked like a really comfortable, flexible shoe. Well, it wasn't. The shoe is extremely narrow and has no give. It also comes up way too high, so that whatever flexibility it has is diminished because the top hits the lower ankle. It's a shame; the shoe is kind of cute, but unless you have a very thin foot you might as well forget it. The shoe goes back!

Purchased for a boot camp class. I wanted something very lightweight and figured a dance sneaker would work. I normally wear an 11; ordered an 11.5 based on other reviews, too small. Long story short, I ended up keeping a 12.5 for the length, but now that I've been wearing/using them for boot camp class they feel too wide. For now and I'll wear them out, but would not purchase again.

Ordered a a gift and bought a size larger as that is what others had said. Still too small, now have to pay to return. That makes a very bad unwelcome gift!

I do have a somewhat wide foot, but most sneakers fit me. This one did not because the 'tongue' of the sneaker is a stretchy fabric that is sewn to the sides of the shoe and cannot be pulled up to allow your foot to slip inside. It might work on narrow or average size feet, but it did not work for me, and I ordered a full size larger than usual. I have another pair of Bloch sneakers that fit just fine, but they have a normal tongue.

Great shoes for Jazzercise! I liked them so much, I immediately ordered a second pair. I needed flexible shoes for wood floors and carpeting, and these work well on either surface. Traditional aerobic shoes did not move smoothly on the carpet. Snug fit (as I have wide feet), so I found thin socks.

Flexible, shock absorbing, comfortable, light, perfect for Oula dance. Size runs small, I'm usually a 9.5 or a 10 and I ordered a 10.5 to be safe and it fit perfectly.

My shoe size varies from 9.5 to 10. So I took to heart what was said about ordering a size larger, but didn't want to go too large. I ordered a 10.5 and its just right. Fits nicely and allows me to do all the Zumba moves that were difficult to do with the athletic sneakers.

Ordered these Monday and received them today (Thursday)! Bought these based on reviews and I love them! Just tried them on and don't even need socks. I wear an 8-8 1/2 shoe and an 8 1/2 sneaker. Took advice and ordered full size up from sneaker which is 9 1/2 and they fit great! Even with pinky toe bunion they are comfy. They slide and pivot on the carpet which is great too. Can't wait to try them out with my zumba tapes (waiting for DVD to get fixed!).

Love, love, love this shoe. It's perfect for Zumba and is very comfortable. Do be sure to order at least a half size larger than your normal shoe size. I wear an 8 and ordered 8.5 and it fits perfect. The shoes arrived in less than 5 days and no shipping charges. Great buy and I'm telling all my friends about Zappos.com.

I purchased these lightweight dance shoes and love them for Zumba class. My only recommendation is to buy them a size larger. I picked up that tip from the reviews. These shoes are only for dance floors. I tried wearing them in class that had a concrete floor and they do not have enough cushioning. So enjoy them on the proper floor.
