Okay, shoes are never comfortable on my feet, but these shoes were comfortable out of the box. The leather is soft as butter. I wear Chanel, Marni, Louboutin, and other high quality shoes. No other shoe is this soft and comfortable. I would like to order this shoe in black and am also wondering about the comfort level of other styles. I have wide feet. I felt like they were a perfect fit. How remarkable.

Love this ballet flat! The most comfortable shoe I've ever put on straight out of the box. Hesitated because of the price, but believe the shoes are well worth it. They do run large, and I ordered a half size down (thanks to Zappos reviewers!).

Why didn't I believe all the reviewers who expressed the shoe being too large? It is by 1/2 size. I wear a 9 and in this color (black) and style (PassportR) I fit an 8 1/2.

This runs very large. I'm a 10M in almost every shoe, but the 9 1/2 was more like a 10 1/2 and the 10 more like an 11. That's good news for those who cannot find 10 1/2! But I'll need a 9M. A lovely, classic, comfortable, durable shoe.

Definitely runs big. I use orthotics so I ordered my size, and there is enough room in shoe for the orthotics. Very cute, classy style.

Really disappointed in the quality of this shoe. It is really flimsy and feels more like a house slipper. Very uncomfortable when walking on the street, not too bad just around the office. For the price, it was not worth it, in my humble opinion.

Lovely shoes; just too large and I will exchange for a smaller size. I normally wear a size 9.5 or 10 depending on the shoe. I ordered a 9.5 and definitely need a size 9. I haven’t worn a size 9 in many years! It’s worth the bother of exchanging these shoes.

Very well made. Comfortable, cushioned insole, beautiful navy color. Sized smaller than normal, by 1/2 size.

I had read other reviews and found the feedback very helpful, I feel the shoe ran a bit big and ordered an 8 (i am an 8.5). Loved the style and found these much more comfortable than Tory Burch and other flats.

Fabulous flat! I have searched high and low to find a chic but comfy flat that has a toe that is not too rounded (since I have a bit wider foot and the rounder toe makes my foot look even wider!). The Passport R has a shapely toe, not too round and not too narrow. It is the perfect combo and the rubber sole makes them super comfy. Great dressed up with black slacks or dressed down with jeans. As for the size, I am normally an 8 Medium. I ordered a 7.5 and that was the perfect length, but it was a bit too tight across my toes so I ordered the 8 and it was a tad too long, but perfect across the toes. I put a heel pad in and voila, all's well that ends well. I love them and get lots of compliments! I just need to add the customer service at Zappos is unbelievable. They made the exchange so easy. I'm so hooked! Zappos has a fan for life! Thank you!

I just received these shoes and was surprised that the size was too large. I am usually a size 9M but this model was entirely too large for my foot. But thanks to Zappos’ wonderful return policy I've ordered another pair, but this time in size 8.5. Don't know if this is the case with all French Sole models, but be aware that this model does run large.

I am so, so sad this shoe does not work for my feet. It is a beautiful shoe, and the leather is lovely! The toe box is too tight for my toes, and because of the patent, I'm afraid to have it stretched by my shoe repair shop. It is the prettiest echo of the classic quilted flat, and I love it. If your toes are nicely tapered this will be an elegant addition to your shoe wardrobe.

Love these flats! Got them in the pewter color and the classic Chanel beige with black patent leather toe. Waiting for the all black to come back in. About the sizing…it is weird. I’m a true 39. I can still wear a size 8, but sometimes I wear a size 8.5. In the pewter color, the size 8 fits me perfectly. In the beige/black and the all black colors, the size 7.5 fits me perfectly. I hope that this helps. These are very comfortable and very classy. They’ll go with anything.

I usually don't like flats, but I love these! They are as soft as butter and only get better each time I wear them. I want to order them in more colors.

This is a comfortable shoe out of the box. The leather is very soft and doesn't need days to break in. It looks great with pants and skirts! I bought this style in two other colors.

These are absolutely gorgeous and the leather is so butter soft but they run large so am exchanging them for the next size down. I wear a 10.5 so depending on the manufacturer may wear a 10 or 11. I got the 11 in these and my feet were just swimming in them. But they are a beautiful, versatile shoe.

The quilted leather is very soft and accommodates the width of one's foot without pressure. After wearing these over the course of a month, I liked them so much I bought a pair in black as well. You can dress these up or wear them casually. I am able to walk in them for the entire day without any discomfort. Worth the splurge! Pay attention to the notation on the sizing. I wear a 9, but an 8 1/2 fits fine in these.

These shoes are very comfortable. The sole moves well with walking, it is not stiff like many others of its ilk. I have sensitive feet that cannot tolerate shoes that squeeze my toes or are too tight around my metatarsals. These are a dream-- they look like Chanels but are comfortable!

Very comfortable shoe and looks good for work. I ordered an 8 although I wear an 8.5 overall and sometimes a 9, and the shoe fit perfectly.

I am already a big fan of French Sole ballerinas. Passport is one of their mire structured styles, and has rubber soles versus leather so they make a good city/travel shoe. These ran a little bigger than my usual size 9B but I would not have gone down to 8.5.

First bought these shoes in London twelve years ago and they\'re still terrific for the price...although the price keeps going up. Good fit, good wear. They do stretch, so think about that when buying.

Lovely ballet flat! Very well constructed and rich looking. Very comfortable for a ballet flat - must be the rubber sole construction! I read all the comments about sizing down a half size, but I often find ballet flats a bit tight/uncomfortable on ball of foot (bunion!) so I ordered my usual size and they are perfect! Will definitely order again.
