Most comfortable shoes I've ever had - I found these in a brick and mortar shop in white and loved them so much that I wanted a second pair in black so I got them here. They are so comfy, like walking on pillows! I don't want to wear anything else now that I'm used to them, and when I walk long distances I can feel the stretching in my legs. They are very cool shoes.

Helped my plantar fasciitis - I was always intrigued by the MBT line of shoes with their "negative" heel, but I wasn't willing to spend the money. When I saw Skechers came out with a similar shoe, at a much more reasonable price, I thought it might help relieve my heel pain. I ordered the Optimize as I found it to be an attractive shoe that didn't scream "comfort footwear" & I was right - I've gotten compliments on them! The heel pain was helped immediately & I found it very easy to stretch out my hamstrings simply by rocking backwards. These shoes have a stable middle, so you're not constantly rocking like you probably would be with MBT, but that's OK. I'm on my feet all day for work & would rather not be wobbling all the time. I'd buy them again & can't wait to see if they come out with more styles!

Best Sneaker Ever - I saw this sneaker online and thought I would try it out for work I do waitressing and bartendering. It is very comfortable. My customers have asked where I purchased them and if they are comfortable as they also stand a lot in their occupation. I recommend them highly, they truly feel as if you were walking on pillows

Great Buy - I love these shoes. It only took 2 days of wearing for a short period of time to get used to them. Now when I don't wear them, my feet feel like something is missing. They are obviously a heavier shoe and walking stairs is interesting, but I will buy more.

Skechers Shape Ups are GREAT!!! These shoes are great! I got them because I recently had knee surgery. They state that wearing them will take stress off the knees and wow, they really do! I stand on my feet for 8 hours and my feet or knees don't ache like before. I would definitely recommend Skechers Shape Ups! I am about to purchase my 3rd pair in black!

These shoes are the cutest and most comfortable Skechers Shape-Ups ever! I was so excited to get them and wear them, but they got a shiny toe immediately after I wore them twice...so I am returning them!

This is my second pair of Shape Ups. These are not quite as comfortable as my other pair and I think it is because these are leather. These don\'t give as much as the ones with the mesh in them. I may need to break these in more.

I bought this shoe after reading that people with back problems felt some benefit, and in order to help me tone some muscles that have gone to seed.All in all I'm satisfied with the shoe in terms of the back issues and posture adjustments they make. This particular model of shoe has a very hard toe box that does bother my toes. I have problems with most closed toed shoes anyway, so this is nothing new, but I wouldn't have wanted a bigger sized shoe for fear my foot would slide around, and the rest of the fit feels fine. I am thinking a different model of the shoe with a softer/canvas type of material might mitigate this problem.Other than that, the shoes are easy to adjust to, and add a little bounce to the step. I notice in particular that they force good posture and abdominal tightening for me which is great. This model is very ugly, I have to say. I feel a little like Frankenstein's monster when I put them on. But they're not as heavy as they look and until my big toe starts to hurt they feel pretty good to walk in.

The two shoes are slightly different colors. Only noticeable in indoor lighting. Very comfy shoes, love them.

These shoes work well and are basically comfortable, but they tend to run a half size small, and rather narrow.

Very comfortable right from the start. It takes a little getting used to so be sure to put both on and walk in them for a while. The only problem I had was that my ankle bone hits the top of the shoe. This is not enough to hurt but I can feel it. The tennis shoe pair of shape ups that I bought first has more cushioning by the ankle bone.

These are very comfortable for walking, although a little high on the ankle bone, which gets uncomfortable at times. I keep hoping more time will soften this up.

This was my first experience with Zappos and I thought their customer service was beyond excellent. I had the shoes in my hand the very next day and when I found they didn't fit, I had the next pair delivered the next day. Amazing! Now, the shoes: I like the added cushion I get from these shoes since I stand on concrete. Walking in them takes a little adjusting. They certainly make you a good 2 inches taller! I wish the foot bed had a little more cushion though. My feet get a little sore from just standing in them. It seems you're standing right on the arch most of the time and find it a bit uncomfortable after awhile. I do find myself wanting to add a shoe insert but don't really have the room.

These shoes are very comfortable to walk in and tone muscles at the same time. I wear them most everyday to work and I feel like I’m just rolling right through my day. I had no trouble adjusting to the arc of the heel.

I don’t know if the benefits are true, but these are comfortable. They rub a little on the bone that protrudes at ankle; however, I’ve done some power walking and just wearing them around town, and it only bothers somewhat.

I found that the Skechers Shapeups are quite comfortable. However, I have a very high arch and the arch in the shoe is good, but not enough for me. I added an extra arch support and now the shoes are great and I am looking forward to getting a second pair.

Being used to wearing Asics Gel Shoes, it took me a few walks to get used to the Skechers, but after walking 3 1/2 miles every morning, they’re very comfortable now, but a little heavier than I would like. Will wear these for the duration, but then go back to Asics.

These shoes are awesome! The other reviews were correct… get a half size larger than you wear. They are extremely comfortable and don’t hurt my feet while working out. Get them if you love your feet.

I had researched the more expensive MBT exercise shoes but felt they were too expensive. When I saw that Sketchers had a similar design at a much lower price I decided to try them and am very pleased. They work the same muscles as the MBTs and I have felt more of a workout during my brisk walks than I ever did in my regular walking shoes. I do feel that they are toning my buttocks and upper thighs but I do walk 30-40 minutes at a very brisk pace, 5-7 days per week. I do not think one can expect miracles.\r\nI am usually a ladies size 10 but the Sketchers 10 was tight. Unfortunately they do not have 101/2 so I took size 11. The 11 is a bit big but fits more comfortably than the 10 and with heavy socks, works well.
