I love these shoes. I use them in the house while I am in the kitchen, when I go shopping, and when I go walking. I have some balance problems, but these shoes seem to keep me from falling over. I have neuropathy in my feet from chemotherapy and a problem with my left knee, and normally, I don't like to have my feet closed in with a pair of shoes, but these shoes do not bother me. I would recommend them, and I agree with another earlier review that they do run small, and I would order them a 1/2 to one full size larger than you normally wear. I plan to get another pair at some point.

I really love these shoes and Zappos! These shoes are great! I work in outside sales and walk on hard pavement all day and it's like night and day from my cheaper Dr. Scholl's shoes I used to wear; it's more like walking on extremely soft thick carpet all day. I did find I needed a 1/2 size larger than my normal shoes. Zappos got these to me overnight and didn't even charge me an extra fee! Wow! Now that's instant gratification. I will definitely use them again.

I bought my shape-up\'s a few weeks ago in the black N. I love theese shoes.They are very comfy...They run small so get a half size bigger.I walk a lot and can already see a difference in my calves,buttucks,and thights,they are more toned... witch means a lot to me.i Will definitly buy another pair in a different style.I have to say it was my first time ordering from Zappo\'s,I waited only two days,will buy from them again.

The shoes felt odd for the first 30 minutes I had them on because of the way the kinetic wedge oriented my feet, after I adjusted to that the shoes are pure heaven. I wear them all day at work on hard, rocky, uneven surfaces and they feel great. My knees and my back felt great, too. I plan to buy a second pair.

I received my Skecher Shape-Ups,and I love them. They do take a little "getting used to", but they are great! One major thing I noticed is that when I would stand at the sink to rinse my dishes or wash veggies etc, my back would hurt so, that I could hardly bear it. Then one day I was doing dishes while wearing my "Shape-Ups" and noticed that my back had hardly any pain at all. Needless to say, this thrilled me! And I love doing business with Zappos. The service is great!

I bought these shoes a couple of weeks ago after seeing an ad for them in Women\'s Health magazine. I went to a Skecher\'s store and tried them on, but was very on the fence about the price. I haven\'t paid that much for a pair of shoes in I don\'t know how long so I thought it was a bit steep. I normally wear a 6, but bought a 6.5 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and are the first shoes I don\'t have to add arch support inserts to. I haven\'t worn them enough walking around consistently to notice any sort of toning or weight loss benefits. However, for the couple long periods of time I have walked in them I have noticed a definite strain in my calves when I stretch out my stride and the muscles in the backs of my thighs would start twitching after I sat down. All in all a good sign I think. I am definitely going to buy a couple of other styles when I get the money. The Skecher\'s website has a larger variety of actual styles. I am very glad I bought them.

No wide sizes! I'm unable to write a review for this product because the manufacturer has not realized the HUGE market for womens' wide shoes. I do have a pair of Tony Little Cheeks sandals and found that my hip pain improved dramatically after wearing them around the house for a few days. I know the Shape Ups are just what I need, but I wear a 6 wide. Come on Skechers.........wise up!

Would I care to review my Skecher Shape-ups? Absolutely! They are the best shoes I've ever worn. I'm in my mid-50s with degenerative joint disease and being on my feet has been excruciating. The second weekend after wearing them, I chased my 7 year-old nephew around for 8 hours! A week later he was still talking about how much we did together. That was the key. These shoes are so comfortable and easy to wear, I feel invincible. My posture has improved considerably and I have a bounce in my step that I haven't had in years. My sister is a nurse; on her feet all day and she almost had me talked into the MBTs similar at twice the cost. I'm so glad I gave these shoes a try. It sounds so corny to say, but a pair of shoes gave me my life back.

Love these shoes! But hard to find - I have plantar fasciitis and 2 heel spurs and my right foot and I have no heel pain when I wear these shoes. I will be buying more, if I can find them in my size.

I brought my Skechers Shape Ups Optimize about 2 months ago and I love them. I wear them to work everyday. People always ask me how you like the Shape Ups. I tell them I love them, once you learn to walk in them properly they are great. Zappos website had them priced cheaper and with free shipping. Also, I was informed that if I wasn't happy with them, I could return the product.

I love these shoes! I was very suprised that they were at my house in less than a week from when I ordered them. They are comfortable and look nice. I got them in all black so it\'s harder for other people to tell that they are not just regular sneakers. I have had them for a few weeks and my pants feel loose in the legs. I first felt they were too expensive but now I am very happy that I got them.

These shoes are very comfortable for walking on smooth surfaces such as pavement or indoors. I have a couple pairs of MBTs that I really like also, but I wanted a less expensive alternative in a different color. The light tan color is neutral and will go with many colors of pants. I am very happy with my purchase.

I walk up to five miles most days, and love finding ways to make my walking work for me. I love, love, love my Shape Ups! They really make me work harder, and I can feel the difference in my upper legs, butt and calves. They take some getting used to, but totally worth it for the stepped up workout I get. They really absorb the shock, my knees feel the difference too.

Love the shoes. I wear them at work and on the go, for walking and comfort. Took about 1-2 weeks to get used to them. I purchased the light brown suede pair. They work better for me. I did not want to purchase the white for fear of getting too dirty. Worth the price. I always get that first initial stare.and then the question, "what kind of shoes are those?" Arrival time in two days from placement of order. Get 1/2 size large for sock wearers. I'm still floating.

Absolutely love these shoes. They are comfortable and are true to size. I do have one complaint. I was walking and the shoes got wet from the rain. The smell of the shoe is unbearable. Does anyone know how to get these shoes smelling good again? I will definitely be ordering another pair in another color. I will keep the next pair dry!

These shoes are absolutely fantastic. I had so much foot and arch pain I could barely walk. I even tried the expensive arch supports. These shoes made that pain go away. You will not fail with these shoes.

I ordered my Shape Ups on Thursday morning, and received them on Friday. They are super comfortable. I walk an hour to 2 hours a day for exercise and did not feel any discomfort wearing these shoes for the duration of my walk. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly. I can feel the shoes working my lower body already!

OMG!!! My husband just bought me my first pair… LOVE THEM. I didn’t want to take them off. I walked & went on the treadmill as soon as I got them home, and boy, can you feel muscles working that you didn’t before. Plus, they give you some added height, which is fine with me. I felt they were a little snug, I usually take a size 9, so I went up to a 9 1/2 which feels great! When walking in them, you feel like you’re on air, it’s amazing! And I’m not a sneaker girl, I’m always in heels, so for me to brag about sneakers is not normal. I cannot wait to buy my next pair in Black, I got the white. I’m recommending these to everyone. These are the best shoes I’ve ever had; I put them on and walk for 30 mins during lunch every day. I have lost 9 lbs in 3 weeks, and I feel better; my legs look in shape now, all the cellulite is gone! When I go up a hill, I really feel that my body is getting twice the benefits than when I walked without shape-ups. They’re so great I had to order one for my mom. It forces me to stand straight, I don’t slouch anymore, and my upper back doesn’t hurt while I walk (which did before). I am one satisfied customer, and the great thing about getting it from Zappos, it’s cheaper than anywhere else and you receive it within 2 days or so. I am really happy for investing in my "on the go gym". I thank Sketchers for making them, and I thank Zappos for delivering them. You have both served me well.

These are great shoes. When I first wore them, I got a backache. I read the instructions and found you were only supposed to wear them a few hours the first day and then work your way up. So after I did that... perfect! I would recommend these shoes to anyone who has knee problems. I am a runner and have a bum knee. I am on my feet all day at work and I no longer have knee pain since getting these shoes. They are kind of ugly, but their comfort outweighs their "look". I am a believer and will purchase them again when these wear out.

I purchased Sketchers OPTIMIZE shoes from Zappos because they are not available anywhere near my home in TN. I had been looking for something to offer relief for my aching feet and legs. I have a DVT and my circulation is very restricted. These shoes are advertised to work the muscles in your legs, calves, and feet. My physical therapist recommended them. I have to walk or stand all day on my job. They aren’t cheap, but WORTH every penny! They would be great for ACHILLES HEEL. Zappos charged NO SHIPPING. They arrived the NEXT DAY! I ordered another pair in white the next week. Again, they arrived the next day. I LOVE THESE SHOES & ZAPPOS. ZAPPOS has me as a customer for life!

I love the shoes! VERY comfortable. I work in an E.R. where I’m on my feet all the time. No lower back pain at the end of the day and you can feel your muscles getting a little work out as well. Plus, Zappos got the shoes to me even faster than expected which was a wonderful surprise! I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear as I can’t stand my toes feeling crowded in the toe box. Living in Florida, when I’m not working, I’m always in sandals/flip-flops. However, I don’t think it is necessary to order a half size up... the shoe is very roomy. Very pleased with everything! Best athletic shoes I have ever worn. I was not sure about the design of the shoe at first, but my lower body is very toned since I started wearing these shoes. I recommend these shoes to all women who want to tighten up legs and butt.

Just got these shoes and I can see how you would burn more calories. I did my regular workout and my legs hurt lol. I guess they will take some getting used to but I have tendonitis in my foot and I am hoping they will help. They do run a half size too small but luckily I knew that and ordered a bigger size and they are perfect. Can't forget to mention Zappos is much cheaper than all the other places selling these shoes.
