Great pair of pants. If you’re familiar with Gap, Banana Republic, or Old Navy straight fit jeans these pants (full fit) have a slightly more relaxed fit (maybe about 1/2 inch more or so room down the pant leg) compared to the straight fit jeans from said retailers. The pants are not overly baggy nor are they slim - just enough to have a relaxed, straight fit. The fabric is a nice, heavy twill with a very slight stretch. The gusseted crotch allows for more comfort too.
I’m a 32 but prefer to buy 33 waist pants for the extra space since I carry AIWB. Kuhl should standardize (and slightly enlarge) the cell phone pockets to be on both legs instead of one or the other (I have the Revolvr pants and that pocket is on the left). Also when washing, drying, and ironing these pants make sure they’re inside out to help prevent the “streaking” some have seen (use Woolite laundry detergent too). I have the dark alloy (like a charcoal gray) and am planning on picking up more pairs. One minor gripe is that the outer surface of the pants is brushed to a soft finish so tends to attract lint easily.

These seem well built, just don't fit my athletic or power lifting build. 36in waist, 42in hip and 28in thigh. Only pants like these that fit me are vertex phantom lt.

My boyfriend absolutely loves these pants. They feel really nice and are great quality. Just a little washing tip: wash these inside out the first few times. It helps them not to get a bunch of white wash lines on them.

I like these. My favorite Kuhl product is the Gunslinger pant. Compared to that these are slightly heavier, but more sturdy as well with respect to the material. I'd recommend.

What can I say? These pants are super cool (pardon the pun), comfortable and stylish in a low key way and have subtle yet neat features. Plus, you can't beat the Zappos price. I love them. And Zappos.

I wear 32/30 in everything for 30 years. These are " full cut" , roomy. I found the 31/30 fit me better with just a little tightness at the waist. ( I'm in Vt, long winters, too much good beer) the snap waist is a little weak, solved by a belt which I usually wear. The rich tradesmen around here seem to wear these pants. Look great. I actually don't wear them to work for now. Builder. Too much paint and foam etc. Figure once they get worn, then I'll be a stylish contractor also. $75 locally. $55 for the pair I bought at Zappos.

I'm on my 5th or 6th pair of Kuhl "Rydr's". Not for everyone. Material is a little heavy for hot summer wear. Rydr's have a front snap closure that can pop open unexpectedly, like when you're lifting something really heavy that you can't drop to resnap your pants. I wish that Kuhl would go to the "Cobrax" closure you will find on "Bonobos" pants. The "Rydr" material makes a slight "slap" or "rustling" sound as you walk, even after it is worn and soft. The pants will fade, especially at the seams and wear points and this is quite noticeable on the darker colors. You have to make sure that the pants do not get creased in the legs in the wash or dryer as this will leave faded crease lines. Suggest you wash them inside out and fluff them up a bit before they go in the dryer. All that said; they are one of the best fitting, most comfortable and stylish pants around. Tough enough for work wear and stylish enough for casual office wear. I have a fairly athletic build that fits the cut of the pants. In summer, I switch to the Kuhl "Revolvr" pant.
I'd also recommend:
Khul Revolvr

Pros: Unique ergonomic design, high quality construction, very comfortable, slim fit, good looking pant. Fits to size, slight shrinking out of the dryer, but material has some give to it. Cons: Mid weight material is noisy like sail cloth when walking and the clever waistband snap tends to pop open easily so I recommend wearing a belt with these pants. I'd buy 'em again.

I love these pants - they fit me perfectly, sitting on my hips not too high, not too low. They canvas material is nice and heavy, if that us that what you are after.

Be warned, Kuhl make a Rydr Jeans model that features the Klassik fit, but only in two denim colors. These are the Rydr Pants, with lots of color choices, but a totally different cut. I love the Klassik fit, but not this "Atletiuk" fit, which is much (too) full thru the seat and thighs. Probably my fault for not redaing closely enough and thanks tio Zappos excellent return policy, no harm done. Thats why I shop here!

I purchased a pair of Kuhl Ryders and am loving the style and fit. I washed the pants as adviced inside out in cold water but they developed major streaking. I returned them and had the same problem just to a lesser extent.

First, Zappos customer service is unmatched. They expedited a return on a defective pair, then worked a return on the second defective pair.
On that note. Rydr pants have a fading effect. In my case, the entire right leg faded in a line pattern, and the left did not. Two cuts of material, maybe? I do know it's looked pretty ridiculous for a $$ pant.
I was not expecting Zappos to work the return. But they did. Buy with confidence from this great company. Shoes and clothes are a nightmare to buy online, thanks Zappos for making is easier then it should be.

Don’t buy these pants I bought a few pairs at a time the buckle system is faulty it’ll work for a month or so and then it will stop working. Also I believe them to be overpriced.

Bought a pair five years ago. They are comfortable, and have held up great. Need to buy another pair as a pocket for keys is worn our inside.

I love these pants. Very well made. The canvas is a hardy material, but with the 2% elastane blended in, the move very well. No bunching when getting in or out of a car. If you have to high step something they move with ease. I have 3 pairs of these, and they are my go to pants day in and day out. I highly recommend them.

I love the ways these fit and feel, a bit heavier than the Revolvr, these are my go-to for AZ "winter". I'm on the "stocky" side and many pants feel tight around the upper leg. The Revolvr pants fit well with enough room to comfortably stay active outdoors. They are light enough to be comfortable driving on long overlanding trips and still comfortable to get out and hike in the same pants. They seem to hold up to dirt and stains quite well too.
I takes quite a bit of wear to get them to soften up a bit but other than the noise, they are always comfortable.
extra benefit though, the noise the material makes can help alert bears to your presence, you don't want to accidentally surprise a bear.

Awesome Pant! True to size, comfortable and great thick cotton material. Feels comfortable but feels like they can take abuse. I hope this brand doesn't sell out like 5.11 and other rugged brands have done.

I ordered these for my boyfriend almost two years ago and they have held up well! Definitely meant for cooler temps, sturdy fabric that have retained their wear throughout washes and being machine dried. Fit was also what he preferred: not too fitted but not too relaxed (by no means slouchy). Works for work and/or casual wear. Fit is true to size.

These pants are the s***. Look, of you're super skinny, there's probably a better fitting pant for you, but if your a bigger guy looking for a pant that will slim you out and wear like a champ, these are your jam. People complaining about the cell phone pocket being too far back... really? It's in the same spot as every manufactured 'hiking pant' on Earth. They're not made of thin material. If you're looking for a pair of scrub bottoms, buy sweatpants. If you're looking for a well-fitting pair of man-pants, this is the ticket. My biggest gripe is the fact that they fade after 10 washes (significantly) but these are some billy badass work pants, gusseted to let your man parts breathe and for additional flexibility in the knee. There's a reason these are the flagship pants by Kuhl.

Love the cut of these and the graphite color fills a gap in my wardrobe. Aside from the great color, these pants just fit me well. I have large quads but I fit better in pants in a 31-32" waist. Too often, pants with a smaller waist like that were designed with the proportions of a slender male, most of the time with some form of tapered leg.
After ordered in a couple Kuhl pants in a 31" waist. I gained some weight shortly after that, quickly, my waist increased to at least a 32. These pants seems much more 'breathable' and weren't uncomfortable to wear after adding a little to the circumference of my waist. At the end of the day, we just have to
remember that ice cream is a treat to be enjoyed once in while, not a staple in anyone's food journal.
Back to the pants, love the extra pockets and texture of the fabric.
