I needed a new pair of bike shoes ASAP as my old ones came apart between the sole and body of the shoe. Was scheduled to ride in the MS 150 in a few days so urgency was the operative word. Called Zappos and the sales rep advised if she made me a VIP member (n/c) she could have the shoes here the next day. As it turned out, the shoes were on my doorstep within 24 hours at no additional cost for shipping. Great service and very satisfied with the product and how I was handled.

After several expensive Mavic shoes I finally found one that fits my foot! If you have wide feet, like mine, it will be difficult to find a good shoe that does not squeeze your foot into submission in about an hour or so. The extra width feels great and the overall shoe is good quality. Can't go wrong with Zappos' return policy. Try and if you don't like them, send em back! Thanks Zappos!

The best bike shoe for road biking! My last pair lasted 12 years at 6,000 miles per year. This newer model has improved latch and velcro closures. The heel knob (replaceable) is a little higher than I would like - very small/no problem.

It took me a while (including numerous trips to the bike shop, who only had full sizes, and several orders from Zappos) before I found my right size. This is critically important in a cycling shoe. As per Sidi's recommendations, when you think you found a size, try the size above it and below it (in half increments). As for the fit, it should be quite snug (with little to no foot movement), but not tight or binding. As for the cycling shoe itself, it's quite light (as expected of a mid-high end cycling shoe). I purchased the Mega version (I have very wide feet), and there is an acceptable amount of interior volume in the toe area. Unfortunately, the Mega version doesn't accommodate a high instep (which I also have), so I can't ratchet down the top buckle as tightly as I'd like without the tongue digging into my instep area. Lastly, the stock insole is pretty bad, so I quickly replaced it with a custom molded Superfeet insole. Overall, a decent shoe, and probably the best I can find without getting a shoe custom made for my foot.

I've ridden with this pair of shoes for 3 months now and they are being returned. I have ridden with Sidi dominator MTB shoes for 6 yrs. and they worn out, but very comfortable with my Speedplay frog pedals. For my road bike I still wanted the float that Speedplay offers, so I tried this shoe with the X-2 pedals. Very painful for more then 20 minutes of ridding. Footbox is just too narrow for a wide shoe.
