These will fit looser than you expect it to so I would probably size down. I am usually an XS but it seems that all my workout clothing is a size S. After reading reviews I went with the XS in these and it's still not as fitted as my other size S workout shorts (like Under Armour). I still like them and can live with the fact that it's not as tight because they do fit nicely and are very comfortable.

These are the best, most comfortable shorts! I love these! I bought them in several colors and would definitely buy them again. I loved the older style, but these are even better. They are not a super tight, binding fit, soft and stretchy and very comfortable and flattering. Also a great length, neither too long nor short. These are highly recommend!

Really like the slimming look and fit of this short. It's very comfortable, holds its shape and doesn't ride up.

I'm 5'4 and 120 lbs, I went with the medium, but could have definitely done the small. They are a little baggy around the bottom. I put them in the dryer to shrink them a little and it worked. The waist band is comfortable - I don't feel like its gripping too tight. They do ride up a little, but I think this is a size issue (should have ordered small).

I absolutely love these shorts. They fit perfectly and are essential for my yoga classes and other workout routines. Because they are no longer available in the retail stores, I am so thankful to find them on Zappos!

Great everyday workout short. They're not outrageously short so I feel comfortable wearing them to the gym. As for sizing, I have a 26" waist and the XS fit better than the S, in the waist and thigh area. Fabric is good, doesn't shine very much and it's not see through.

These shorts have two personalities: you can wear them a little small for performance, or a little big for style and comfort! I am a size 2 to 4 and bought a pair of size XS for working out. They are snug, but stretchy enough to still be very comfortable, and they look great, however, I do find that the legs ride up a little. I also bought a pair of size Medium, and love them for casual wear. They are super comfortable, look great, and provide just the right amount of bottom coverage. On me, the legs are loose enough to lie flat against my thighs without clinging, which completely eliminates ride-up.

Perfect shorts with perfect coverage for any gym activity. Great for strength training, running, lunging and squatting.

Love this short. I wear this type of short to all my aerobic workouts at the gym. It fits just perfect with a relaxed waistband, so no pinching up of the belly fat. Although I don't know where the drawstring is that the description of this short claims to have-I could not find any drawstring. Great shorts though! I will order it in all colors.

I really like these shorts! I'm usually a size medium or large in shorts so I ordered the medium because of the other reviews, it was definitely the right choice! The shorts ride up a tiny bit while running and they are not very tight. The fabric is thick for this type of short but it's also a wicking fabric so they don't feel too warm.

Love them! Doesn't cut in on the waist band, not too tight...wear them every day to work out in!

I like this short a lot - it isn't too tight (get a compression short if that's what you like) and it does not ride up even though my thighs tend to make other shorts do that. I work out in a very hot gymnasium and need to stay cool, and these do the trick!

Really comfortable shorts, though I thought they ran a little snug. I bought two pairs. The first time I ordered a small, the second a medium. For me, the medium is a better fit. I'm 5'5", 125 and wear between a 4 and 6 in pants.

These are my favorite workout shorts! I ordered a small. I am 5'4" and weigh 122 lbs. I would say I have an average body. I work out 4-5 times a week. These shorts are great! They are flattering and never ride up!

I'm petite (5'1, 103 lbs, no booty, no hips). I ordered and XS, but found them to be a smidge too roomy in the waist. I could fit two fingers between me and the waistband. I prefer the feeling of everything being kept in. I did like the weight of the fabric and that there was a little pocket on the front waistband, as opposed to the back where whatever you put in there (keys, ring, etc) shows through your butt. But I returned these because I was afraid they'd get even looser the more I exercise.

A great fitting short that remains comfortable in both warmer and cooler temperatures. Moisture-wicking is excellent.

These shorts are great. I'm 5'9 and wanted shorts with a bit longer inseam than the standard 2-3 inches because I'm all legs and everything else is too short on me. This length was perfect. They ride up a bit when running, but the extra couple of inches on the inseam ensure they won't ride up so much that you end up flashing the neighborhood.

I love these shorts! I am ordering another pair because I find myself doing laundry anytime these are dirty. They are very comfortable and flattering. The shorts are short, but not too short, and they sit well on your body without cutting into your stomach or thighs. I wear them running and to yoga.
