Very comfy - This shoe is very soft and comfortable, and really does let your foot breathe! I have a size 7.5 Wide foot, and while these squeeze a little bit at my toes, I can tell that the leather is soft enough that I will break them in. I would recommend this shoe as a comfortable, high quality versatile flat that can be dressed up or down and be worn with skirts, dresses or pants. I had really wanted something a more rounded toebox, but this, more narrow, still looks dainty on my feet.

Most comfortable flat ever! This shoe is like walking on air! I work on my feet all day and these shoes still feel great. Very stylish. These shoes do not rub my feet and give me blisters like most shoes. Great buy!

Comfortable, flattering flat, even on large feet. All it needs is arch support and it would be perfect!

I have had this exact shoe for two years and loved it! It was getting worn, so I ordered a new pair. However, this pair is much too tight over the top, so I am returning it.

I wanted to love these, but they were too conservative (these cover a lot of the front of the foot -- my very long toes were completely covered) and also more stiff than I hoped. Didn't like the feel of the steel shank, and the top of the shoe dug into my foot above the toes. Not awful, but not comfortable either.

I wanted a pair of flats to wear on vacation due to their versatility with jeans, pants, skirts, etc. I first bought these in the Bronze metallic from another company. I sent them back before I tried them on. The color was pretty but I thought they would probably not be as easy to wear with "everything" and I was trying to pack light. So I bought them in black leather from Zappos due to being short on time and Zappos being fast on shipping. Anyway, these shoes are cute and comfortable in general (nice padding, decent support for ballet flats) except (and this is a big problem) the right shoe along the top right seam rubs badly. I've had shoes do this before, but I've usually been able to take care of the problem with moleskin or inserts. With these, nothing seems to help and after just moments of wearing, they hurt. I would definitely return them but I've worn them already. I will never be able to wear them for very long so they will probably end up in the trash. It's too bad, because they are a cute shoe and they aren't cheap. Also, they seem to run a bit long and wide but a heel and toe insert took care of that problem. I thought I had everything fixed until I realized I could not stop the painful rubbing.

These were a disappointment. I have been searching for a pair of black flats to replace my wonderful Clarks which seem to have been discontinued. When they finally arrived, I opened the box to reveal a pair of decent looking basic ballet flats. They appeared well made, but when I tried them on, these shoes were actually too painful to stand up in, cutting into my feet at all sorts of strange angles. I normally wear an 8.5 so I ordered them in that size. My Clarks are an 8.5 and fit perfectly. The Borns had a normal width but with a sharp, narrow heel. They just did not agree with my feet at all. Oh well, back they go. I will not be ordering a size up. In fact, I am no longer going to buy shoes on the internet without having tried them on in a store first. Hopefully my Clarks will hold a while longer until I find a suitable replacement.

These were so uncomfortable! I bought the exact shoe at Nordy and it was soft and supple. The ones from Zappos - not so much.

These are so cute. They look good with slacks and skirts. Unfortunately they feel like the devil to wear. The arch support is not properly located in the shoe and after a few hours of wearing them, my high-arched feet hurt for days.

These run a half size large on me and the toe area is very roomy. Unfortunately my toes are narrow and flat. Reluctantly returning them, as I'd had high hopes for these. They do have good construction with padding/support - so if Born shoes fit you these would be a good flat to get. I can see that they would be stylishly comfortable for walking or being on your feet a lot during the day.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but after trying to wear them a couple of times, it was just a no-go. The leather needed a lot of breaking-in time, from which my poor feet are still recovering. I had expected them to have far more support than they did as well; which is to say, they had practically none.

Very cute and comfortable but I can already tell these shoes are not going to last long. The leather at the toe and heel are already looking worn and I have only worn them a handful of times. I think this is due to the sole being shorter than the shoe itself.

I just received the Adele in red. It is not solid red; it has some black throughout - and especially on the toes - which makes it look like the toes are scuffed. I am totally surprised and disappointed. I wanted a red flat. I have them in black and wear them all the time. The description didn't mention that there's some black sort-of smudges on the red leather. I'm sending them back.

This shoe looks and feels amazing on my feet. The inside was so plush and well-cushioned with an actual arch support! Sadly, the smallest size that it comes in (size 6 in this case) was too big. I wish Born would be more consistent in their sizing!

I absolutely love these shoes. I am a wedding photographer and have been in search of black flats that are both comfortable and at least moderately stylish, and these are perfect! I wore them for 11 hours on my feet and had no pain whatsoever. My feet were even sore after wearing Dansko clogs at weddings, so I was blown away. These are highly recommended.
