I bought these for my six year old because he lives in his North Face boots all winter even when no snow. I usually order him the black but they were out of stock so I bought these and am so glad that I did. The camo is so fun and he gets lots of compliments. We have never had the issues with North Face boots that some have with them falling apart. His always look great and he is able to pass them down to a friend when he outgrows them.

Great winter boot. It keeps the wetness off of my son's feet and they're easy enough for him to put on and off by himself.

My 10 year old son has worn these boots for the past 2 years (different sizes). I ordered a size bigger than his shoe size both years and they fit great. The boots are ultra lightweight and sleek. He could pull his jeans over top or tuck them in. They were wonderful to wear to the grocery store or running around and looked stylish. His feet were never cold at school during recess. However, after prolonged wear (tobogganing or super slushy weather) water did seem to soak through the top of the boot. My son said it was because he didn't pull the elastic over his snow pants. The boots are not very tall. Still...I would not hesitate to purchase again. He can't stand bulky clunky boots!

Boots for light snow and small puddles. This boot is not waterproof and I am very disappointed. In the middle of winter, I must buy my six year old another pair of boots... I would recommend Bogs, waterproof.

I bought these boots for my seven year old son. He loved the boots upon arrival, they are so light weight and easy to run in. But, after two weeks of playing in the snow/sleet on the playground at school and at home, both boots had tears in the toe. I would not recommend these boots for active young children, as they did not hold up at all. I wish that I could return them!

I bought these for my 5-year-old son. After just two weeks of wearing them, the stitching that attaches the upper fabric to the lower part of the boot came undone. Holes started to pop up everywhere. The upper fabric is as thin as parchment paper. I was very disappointed. This boot seems to be cheaply made. I did not expect that from a North Face item. However, my son enjoyed wearing them while they lasted. He said they keep his feet dry and warm, no matter how cold it was outside. He was able to put them on and take them off by himself without a problem, and they looked very nice. I'm disappointed they are falling apart already.

Love the boots, but after a few wears the front toe area seem came apart. Sending back for a new pair after 5 wears. This should not happen, each foot did this.

Unfortunately, during the first wintry mix (snow & rain) we realized that the boots are not water proof. After 30 mins playing in the slush, the socks were wet. I was very hopeful since the boots were very to get on and off and my son really liked them, but don't make the same mistake by ignoring this review. Bottom line, the boots leak. The winter just started and I have to shop for another boots or hope for dry winter.

My 5 year old son liked the style and comfort, they kept his feet warm and dry, even playing in snow. These are the easiest boots to put on. However, they are not durable at all. We have had them just over a month, and with only moderate usage, he has already worn holes into the fabric near the toe of both boots. Given the expense and our expectations of The North Face brand, I am very disappointed with this purchase.
