There is absolutely nothing wrong with these stunningly beautiful boots, or Zappo's excellent customer service. I am just sad that they looked wonky on my legs. I wish they had been just a little bit taller. I am 5'6" and they hit me right smack dab middle of my knee caps, and it just wasn't a good look for me. I will be crying myself to sleep tonight because I had saved up to buy them, yet I have to return them because now I know I will not wear them enough to justify the premium price. If you have better legs than I do, and have better luck with these, I recommend you size down at least half a size. My regular size was way too big.

The Reserve boot is, by far, the most luxurious boots I have ever bought. The leather is soft as butter, the workmanship pristine, and the boots are very comfortable. Because I read here to size down, I tried both my usual 8 and a 7,5 and yes, I also recommend sizing down. The 7,5 was perfect for me, even with a thick sock. The trick to get these boots on easily is to fold down the shaft all the way down, inside out, with your hands before you even put your foot in the boot. You won't miss the zipper if you use the correct technique! Unfortunately, as much as I love the look and quality of these boots, they are going back because for me, at 5'6", the shaft is just one inch too short and hits me right on my knee cap. Not a flattering look for my legs. It just looks strange. I would have kept them if they were just a notch taller, covering my knee. But for the money, I needed hem to look perfect on my legs, and they don't. I am sad to see them go.

I’ve been wearing these boots non-stop ever since I got them. Very comfortable and look great. I like the slightly taller heel. I have thin legs and calves, so these fit perfectly.

I am wearing these boots for the first time today and they are quite comfortable. It was a little tricky getting them on because I am wearing jeans and they are a little snug in the calf. I prefer a long zipper because that makes getting boots on and off so much easier, but these are so pretty without one. I would buy again. Even though they are pricey, they are worth it.

These boots are gorgeous and very comfortable. A tad too expensive but worth every penny. I’ve always worn boots like this and I’m glad I could find a high boot to fit my narrow foot. Stuart Weitzman shoes/boots are extremely comfortable and I’ve always enjoyed wearing his shoes and lucky they got so well. They last forever.

Everything looks good except there is no dust bag in the box. I have 4 other pairs of their boots from different sources. They all come with dust bag.

Most perfect boot.

Perfect boot except not waterproof. Perfect fit and heel height. Similar to the Blondo Velma except the Blondo is looser at ankle with lower heel, less than 1/3 price, and waterproof. Trying to justify price and Reserve not being waterproof.

This is a beautiful, elegant boot but my strong calves (15" circumference) and high instep made it impossible to get all the way on my legs. Very sad!

Fabulous boots! I have a pair of the 5050s and wanted a little more heel. These fit the bill. I think they run true to size. I ordered my normal 6 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend.

These run large and wide though to get them on you have to fold them in half and get your foot in the footbed then pull them up and unroll them. They taught me this at the Stuart Weitzman store. They do fit larger calves and you do not even need to go into wide width. They are classic and elegant. I splurged for the 5050 this year and decided I'd get a second pair and tried the 5050 reserve. They are a little higher heeled and slimmer toed but they are awesome. Love them both!

I have been lusting after these boots after seeing the slightly lower heeled 5050 version on Olivia Palermo. The Reserves are even better because they add a little more lift while still staying casual and chic. I went with reviews from the 5050 boot to order a 1/2 size down. I ordered a 6.5 (when I am usually a 7) and I feel the foot length is perfect. They were a bit hard to get on at first and once they are on, they almost feel like a second skin. I got the Medium width (and I have fairly narrow feet) and they are pretty snug, but I think the soft leather will probably stretch with wear. The weather isn't cool enough in Florida so I have yet to wear them for an extended amount of time, but I can't wait to pair them with leggings, skinnies and a wool cape. I can't wait to wear these beauties in!
