Excellent shoe, perfect fit, comfortable, balanced and well made. Danced for 3 hours straight and had no pain. I\'m over 65 so that is remarkable thanks to my great shoes.

This shoe is wonderful. Great for special occasions and evening wear. Comfortable in the toe box and heel cup. Consider geeting a shoe insert to keep toes from pitching forward through peeptoe opening.

I ordered the Chantelle in silver and it is drop dead gorgeous. What a fabulous evening slipper! However, it does fit small and it\\\\\\\'s not a medium-wide fit but rather quite narrow. I wear a size 4 medium shoe and I have been buying Stuarts for at least 36+ years, so I know how his fit has stayed the same and/or changed over the years. Some of the lasts he uses are dead on for size and others are a mystery, fitting too small or way too large - all in the same size! This shoe is small and I\\\\\\\'ve ordered a half size up. Is it worth the price tag? Only if you want an evening shoe that you know will have you feeling as special as you look.

Absolutely gorgeous shoes. Bought them for my son's wedding. Haven't worn them yet for an entire day but have worn them around the house to break them in for the big day (I do that with all my heels). They were comfortable immediately but I want them to be really comfortable for the wedding as I will be standing and dancing for many hours.

These shoes are worth every penny of the cost. I have not worn heels in two years due to severe osteoarthritis in my knee. I purchased these shoes for a special event knowing that I would be sitting most of the evening but could still wear an elegant heel.

I am over 60 and I have a wide foot. I needed a shoe to wear with a formal dress at a wedding. The Chantelle worked out well. It is very attractive, classy, and well made. I was able to wear them comfortably for the wedding and about 10 hours of dining and dancing. This was more than I had expected because I normally wear lower heels. I usually wear a wide width, and these felt true to size, but by the end of the evening an extra wide might have been more comfortable. Still, I am happy to have these around for the next formal event.

Comeback kid. I own the original of this shoe from many years ago in black satin and gold leather. I am so thankful S.W. decided to bring it back, mine need to be retired and replaced with new. The inside of my shoes read Stuart Weitzman for Martinique. They are very comfortable and never went out of style. Thank you S.W. for bringing them back.

Hopefully this evening shoe will last a few years. It's a classic style with a discreet sparkle, appropriate for most dressy events. The heel is elegant and well-balanced, so that walking is fairly comfortable. I haven't had a chance to dance in them yet, but believe they will do fine.

I bought this shoe (not through Zappos) as a possibility for my wedding. It's pretty, and surprisingly comfortable. I was surprised to find, though, that although the description stated it has a satin heel, the non-lace part of the shoe is actually leather. Not Zappos error and the Stuart Weitzman site also describes it as satin. Very nice shoe. I can't believe I actually paid that price for a shoe (gasp) but honestly there are several other choices here that are just as nice but less than half the price.

Beautiful shoe, but a little narrow for wide feet. I upgraded from 7 1/2 to 8 Medium and it fit a little better. I believe wide is a better fit. My feet hurt a little bit, but I was standing for about an hour. Otherwise, an elegant and beautiful shoe.
