This is an excellent shoe. I have had severe overpronation since childhood and this shoe corrects that without feeling overly rigid or heavy. It works as a walking and running shoe. My foot is wider but I have found in the Asics brand I can order a half size larger in a regular width and it fits fine. This shoe was no exception.

These are the shoes I should have bought a long time ago. I have over pronation, severe plantar fasciitis and have a narrow-ish size 11 foot. That is a tall order for a running shoe! I am not a runner but I walk a few miles every day. I have been wearing these ASICS for a few weeks now and my feet are feeling great. They have great stability and they are also light and fairly flexible with a wide toe box. The shoe fits around my heel back snugly as well. I didn't even put my orthotic into this pair and so far no foot problems at all. I was reluctant to pay so much for these shoes but they are worth every penny.

This shoe is great! It provides the stability and support that I need for my flat feet, which is difficult to find in many shoes. I purchased this shoe in a 7 1/2 Wide and it fits as I had expected (perfect). I absolutely recommend this shoe for anyone looking for great arch support and/or comfort.

Roomy in the toes and very comfortable. Previous reviews suggested to go up half a size, which I did. I just starting running and I have no complaints.

I love these shoes, they were exactly as represented and arrived ahead of schedule. I particularly like the flexibility and lightweight fabric. I can actually feel a breeze (when there is one) cooling my feet through my shoes. I bought these shoes because I am a walker and have developed plantar fasciitis. They have made a world of difference to my battered feet. I wear them all of the time and will never buy a different tennis shoe again.

Asics makes great shoes. I try others but always go back to them. The stability is great. I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes really help when I run. No break-in. Pretty lightweight, and cute. Highly recommend.

This is the only shoe I run in. I have lost 137 pounds wearing this shoe and gone from not running 1 mile to running my first marathon. Now, the shoes didn't do all the hard work, but they sure helped! I was suffering a great deal from shin splints and knee pain and I took a quiz on Runners World that matched my foot up with this shoe. Wow, what a difference is all I can say. These shoes are awesome. I've gone through 4 pairs of them at this point...retiring each shoe at around 300 miles. They feel as great the day I put them on as they do the day they get retired. Great shoe!

Where would I be without my ASICS? Miserable maybe? I might even give up running! I love these shoes. They are the only ones I buy.

Love it! I initially purchased it for working out, until I hurt my knee before these pair of sneakers had arrived. So I've just worn it for my clinical rotations for nursing school and it's been phenomenal at giving me comfort and support (especially for my arch) for being on my feet for 12 hours/day. Do not pass up this pair of sneakers!

Love my Asics. This is my 3rd pair! I have a super wide foot and an extremely high instep. Plus I wear orthotics - lucky me. My Asics are awesome and would recommend them to everyone. Great comfort in the heel and arch, plus roomy up front. Love them!

I\'m an older runner with flat feet and find Asics to be a sneaker designed for women. While I like other brands and alternate sneakers frequently to avoid injury, Asics are my tried and true friend. They never hurt and never cause any pain in my calf or shins, unlike other, more cushiony competitors. I\'ve tried the gel foundation 9 and now the gel evolution 5 and am pleased with both. I find that I don\'t need to order a "size up" with these sneakers like I do with others. In fact I\'m returning my size 9 to get a 8 1\/2 which is my true size.

This is an excellent shoe.I have plantar fasciitis. I needed a shoe that had superior lateral stability and cushioning. I wear a 7.5B and this feels true to size. With a thinner sock it is a little sloppy, so I wear a little heavier sock. I also have a replaced knee, and I feel like this shoe is offering great cushioning.

These shoes are true to size. They are probably the most comfortable shoes I have bought. I love them.

I'm not a runner in the athletic sense of the word, but spend most of my day at work as a nurse in a hospital on my feet. Wearing the Gel Evolution has given me the ability to not have sore and tired feet at the end of my shift - truly! I've never been able to say this about any other shoe. Of course, Zappos service and delivery policies are simply the best, too. Keep it up.

I love these shoes. I began walking and had extreme pain burning in my shins. I did some research and found that the Asics Gel Evolution were for pronate feet. That's me. My shins no longer burn when I walk or run. From the first time. These shoes made the difference. Really worth the money.

I\'m prone to stress fractures, and these shoes have been excellent. I typically run about 25 miles a week, and this is the first time in a long time that my arches feel truly supported. I have funny shaped feet because I have an extra bone in the arch, the superfluous navicular, and the wide version of the shoe gives my wide toe area plenty of space while still cradling my heel properly.

Love the Evolution. It’s the only sneaker I buy. The 5 is awesome. I have a neuroma on one of my feet and even that doesn’t bother me when I run or walk in these.

I love this shoe and that I was able to find it in a wide width. It is a maximum support shoe and It makes a real difference for my feet. I was also able to put my orthotics into them and wear them comfortably. I will purchase from Zappos again.

I absolutely love my shoes. Not only do they look good, they feel good as well. They fit true to size. I have plenty room in the toe area and the heel area is very snug to prevent my ankles from rolling inward. I wore the shoes to the rodeo and after standing for 3 hours, my feet felt so comfortable. At the end of the night, I walked the 2 miles to my car instead of taking the train. My arches feel as if they are being massaged. Zappos has excellent customer service. The shoes arrived sooner than I expected. I would definitely buy from them again. 100% satisfied customer!!

Wonderful shoe! I have flat feet and needed a running shoe for over pronation. These shoes are working great, very comfortable, would highly recommend.

Shoes felt great walking around at home. I didn't have to use my orthotic for arch support. Went to the mall for a few hours and my feet felt tired. 10 minutes into a walk I had a cramp on the outer side of my foot. Very uncomfortable! Very sad.

I love the way these sneakers fit and perform--they have a wide toe box, heel stabilizer support when you walk or run, a lot of cushioning, light in weight, and good looking, too.

Zappos service was phenomenal! I received my shoes in less than a week (standard shipping) and it was right before Xmas. Love the shoes also! I ordered them because I needed a "stiff" shoe that is referred to as a low motion shoe with excellent arch support. I needed this kind of shoe to help with knee pain and they work great! I wear them for everything I do, even playing tennis.

Great tennis shoes. I pronate a lot and they give me a ton of support. Love them and would for sure buy them again.
