I love this shoe! I previously wore the Asics GT-2130, which was great, but I decided to upgrade. I wear podiatry inserts because of plantar fasciitis, so I have to wear supportive shoes. The first day I wore these, I forgot to put my inserts in. I walked in these shoes for eight hours without any discomfort. It was hours before I realized I was without my inserts! I have tried all popular brands, but Asics is the best! Thank you Asics, and thank you Zappos for great customer service!

I really like these shoes, but I had a pair of the Nimbus before this shoe and liked them a little more. Am going to keep the Cumulus, but am going to go back to the Nimbus next time. They are light and have a great arch support, but don't seem to mold around my feet as well as the Nimbus do.

Good, but not the one I picked. I had Zappos ship me 4 pairs of shoes so that I could compare them and get the right one for me. I like the Asics Gel-Cumulus, but for me, having a narrow foot the right ankle was a little bit big compared to the others (Nike and New Balance). The right shoe also seemed to come up too far on my foot which made it more uncomfortable. I normally wear a 9.5 in dress shoes, but wear a 10 in athletic shoes, these were no different.

If my feet could sigh in pleasure, they would. The comfort is amazing. I haven't decided if I want to return them. The fabric is so thin I can see my toes. My feet would freeze here in Alaska come fall. Definitely order half a size up.

I usually wear the Nimbus but I couldn't justify spending the money, nor could I wait until they went on sale. So I settled for the Cumulus. Very good on cushioning but the toe box is too narrow, my pinkie toe is torn up with blisters. I switched to the thinnest athletic sock I had and yet my foot still feels tight in the upper. I developed a nasty blister on the back of my leg from the heal tab. The heal counter is nice and sturdy though, which made my podiatrist very happy. I should have waited for the Nimbus to go on sale.

I have been wearing Asics for years now, both the Cumulus and Nimbus models and found this(and the current Nimbus 11 disappointing). The toebox has shrunk in cumulus 11, along with the length. I ordered one size up and my toes still felt cramped. The cushioning in the heel is adequate but under the toes it was quite hard. Just wish Asics would keep the cushioning and toebox of previous models and stop changing their one great shoes!!

My podiatrist recommended I visit a local running store - they had the Asics Cumulus but would have to order it in a Wide. The order would be placed the following week. I went home and found the shoes on Zappos in the width I needed for $10 cheaper than the running store - and I received the shoes on the day the store said they would place the order. The shoes fit great and I am able to complete my workout with no problems! Thank you Zappos!

I used to love this style. This is my third pair I have purchased over the past few years, but this one does not fit very good. It makes my feet numb as if it is overall too tight.

I do/did not like the appearance of these shoes. Not a fan of how shiny they are. I went ahead and bought them based on the reviews. I have worn them once and they rubbed blisters on my Achilles. I am going to try them again with a different sock to see if that provides more protection.

I have worn Asics Gel Cumulus running shoes for more than over a decade and have always been pleased with the fit and features - roomy toe box, narrow heel, and light weight neutral shoe. This model (the 11) was a big disappointment with major design flaws. Asics put a reinforcing band across the forefoot area and moved the position of their trademark logo forward so it also runs across the forefoot. The toebox also feels less roomy than on previous models. About 7 miles into my run, I developed blisters from the reinforcing band and stitching. Ultimately, I had to cut into the shoe to remove the reinforcing band to make these shoes wearable. In the past, I've always been able to wear these shoes out of the box with no problems. If you are a distance runner looking for a shoe with a roomy toe box and a comfortable fit, I would stay away from this model until Asics fixes the design flaws.
