Love my new work shoes and love Zappos! I would definitely say these run a little big; I got a womens 10 then returned for 9.5 which is still a little big but they work great. Thank you Zappos!

These are the only tennis shoes my husband will wear. Every time I have ordered them from Zappos, I am amazed how quickly they are delivered. The order is always correct. I will always order from Zappos.

Not bad and they look slick, but I prefer the Adidas Superstar 2G's shape instead (although they don't make them anymore). On that sneaker, the toe box is wider with a narrower arch and heel, more like the shape of a foot, whereas the ADIDAS STAN SMITH are more uniformly shaped from top to bottom. They do fit true to size and are comfortable but I've noticed that they squeak when I walk in them. I'm hoping that goes away when they get broken-in, but who knows. I haven't owned a pair of these since the 8th grade and that was awhile ago. The white is white and the green is a nice accent.

Was looking for a light, minimalist shoe to play tennis in. The Stan Smith is well constructed, but it is a lot heavier than I expected: each shoe is about 15oz. This is heavier than some of the Barricade series models (= modern Adidas tennis shoe), and I wonder if the original Stan Smith's from the 1970s were as heavy. In any case, I will be replacing them with Adidas Originals Rod Laver tennis shoes which are slightly under 11oz.

Very comfortable, but not real leather. Does no one make tennis shoes from real leather anymore?

The Stan Smith 2 looks nice, but due to a funny shaped outsole, the instep of your foot sits on the edge of the outsole. The insole is also sitting on this edge, showing that this design is indeed a flaw. A flaw I did not notice until I had to stand in these for an hour or longer. I am unable to return these after having creased the leather and gotten them dirty. I have read to fix this you should order a half size up if you have wider feet.

These kill my feet! I'm a nursing student so we have to wear all white shoes, no clogs. I live in Birks and Crocs because I have a 10.5 Wide foot and it's impossible to find shoes. The tongue in these go really far up my foot and it rubs the top of my feet to blisters. They are hot and I have to wear special running socks so my feet don't sweat. I also have small ankles, so these shoes slide up and down my heels as I walk. I hate them so much I just leave them in my car.

Why is it so difficult to find a nice, plain white 'tennis' shoe? Stylistically great, but somewhat narrow. Ordering a half size larger might help, but it seems the length of the shoe increases more than the width in my experience. While comfort is not ideal and not for all-day wear for me, the shoe has fashionability and a surprising practical purpose. I find the shoe an excellent weight-lifting shoe given the density of the sole that renders good stability. For weight-lifting purposes, the shoe rivals the Converse Chuck Taylors.

These are the most squeeky shoes that I have ever owned. There are fabric edges on the inside that bug me every time I wear these shoes. I would not buy them again.

Not for women! These are not the original Stan Smith. The M/W sizing is ridiculous. They are too wide for most women, especially in the heel. Just not the same shoe.

The classic has been ruined! After wearing this model of sneaker religiously for over 30 years (big fan) they've downgraded them!! The faux leather on the inside of the heel is now cheapo mesh and it rubs your socks and looks grubby after 2 weeks. Also, they've changed the tongue of the shoe, which now results in it wandering away from where it should be.

Stan Smith's had gone cheap, but now they are back and the 5 star reviews convinced me to try them again. My first time at Zappos and I am now a loyal fan.

A true classic. Never goes out of style. I need to wear some Dr. Scholl\'s Arch supports in them though, because they have absolutely none of their own.

I wear a women's size 12 -- in either a generous medium or a skimpy wide. When you order a women's 12 in these, what you get is a men's 10.5, cut for a man's foot. Men's feet are more rectangular, and women's more triangular, with narrower heels and wider toes. This usually works out okay for me in athletic shoes, though, because the ankles are padded and they lace up so high. That was the case with these ones. The toes did feel tight on the first two days, but by day three they felt really good. I especially like these because I'm prone to twisting/tipping my ankle, but with the nice hard, sharp edge on these soles I'd really have to work hard to turn my ankle. I like their classic look, too -- can't stand silly-looking shoes.

I tried on the shoe at the store but they did not have the color I wanted. It was nice to get it through Zappos and not have to pay shipping or tax costs. I will order future shoes from Zappos. For tennis shoes I usually buy a 1/2 size larger.

Love the shoes but the real joy is at Zappos and how well they take care of you as a company. I will go no where else to buy shoes.

I have purchased these several times. I appreciate the classic style. I had planned on wearing them for tennis but am wearing them as occasional sporty shoes instead.

A great shoe! I have worn since high school. They never wear out. And have great arch support, which is perfect for someone like me with very flat feet. They do take some time to break in, but after that you are set to go.

I purchase two pairs of these each year for my husband. He is a commuter here in Chicago and puts in a lot of miles on his shoes. He likes these because of the fit and the leather upper. They last and last and can be touched/cleaned up because they often get scuffed on the train.

I\\\'ve worn the Adidas Stan Smith shoes since 1974. They are comfortable from the first moment I put on a new pair. When I was younger they served me very well in competitive tennis. Nowadays, they work as a great boat shoe. I need a half size larger for the right fit. Classic...I love \\\'em!

These are comfortable for my husband who has large, narrow feet. He is an Adidas loyalist, and these work great for his work (tattooing). The smooth leather surface makes it easy to wipe away any ink and pigments that have fallen on them. He still manages to walk away from work looking clean and sharp.

The classic shoe that screams "I grew up Jewish in the suburbs during the 80s". These war horses haven't changed in the durability and simple look department since my first pair junior year of high school. They do not say Stan Smith under the old school Adidas logo on each heel and they do not have a picture of Stan Smith looking like a 70s porno star on the tongue of each shoe like the original issues did. Minor infractions that can be overlooked because they're still comfy, they still last forever and I'm still in love with them after having like 4 pairs before them. Viva Stan Smith! Viva Zappos. com! Viva the Adidas old school logo!

I ordered these to wear as a stylish and comfortable summer shoe. I really like how they look with my denim boyfriend jeans and a tee. Very laid-back cool! I wear a ten and a half in women\'s and the nine fit perfectly. The sneaker is ridiculously comfortable, running is easy, and walking is a pleasure. They will serve me well, both in looks and in function. My husband was teasing me, saying that I bought a men\'s sneaker, but now he\'s eyeing them as well, and is debating buying a pair!
