Great jacket! It's super light and warm. The hood is a little large but easy to cinch down. Bought it in black and liked it so much I bought a second one in Channel Blue.

I got this wonderful down sweater for my boyfriend for his birthday. He is really hard on clothing, so in the first two days of having it, he caught it on a nail and ripped it. The down started coming out, but luckily Patagonia is repairing it. He is very happy with the gift. Awesome!

This is a beautifully made jacket that lives up to the Patagonia reputation! It is good looking, fits beautifully,and is extremely warm. Great buy!

I bought this for my husband and he says he really likes it. It is light weight and keeps him really warm. It is not for the arctic, but low teens is no problem for him (he even wears it on quick errands on those 8 below days). It is well made and he even likes the brown color I picked for him. His only con for it is that the hood doesn’t have control- can’t zip off, no way to adjust how tight hood is around face.

Zappos is the easiest place I have every shopped at online. My husband loves the down sweater. It is so ligth and warm.

I wear this jacket day and night - don't need a hat or gloves to keep warm and comfortable. (Plus it looks really good!)

Sweater is a misleading name. I think of this is my winter protector. This is my first down garment and I love it. It is always warm. For people that think they would get too warm, open the zipper. The hoodie is great. I walk to and from work and it is a pleasure to walk in 10 F with a 25 mph wind. I can take it anywhere as it stuffs into its own inside pocket. It is the best winter coat I have ever had.

Have owned two of my own and love the full zip hoodie for its comfort, finally bout one for my father who is a very young 81 years old (still out on his bike five days a week and still skiing with the 70+ Club). Finding any gift for him is difficult, he is extremely sensitive to any material that may itch, and on top of that is a very slim, tall and long person and usually requires tall lengths....in an age where size is subjective to every manufacturer-- this makes shopping a living heck. That said i hesitantly bought him a medium (his usual size in jackets medium to medium tall). Dad loved this from the second he tried it on and enjoys wearing it around the house for its comfort as much as he does outside for its warmth. Fit: appeared a bit big but the item is cut straight/ square (as pictured), torso and sleeves has plenty of length. Bottom line: an essential piece in any soft goods quiver as it holds up as the layering piece you will most often use under any shell, and is the go-to stand alone piece you will grab and go on all but the coldest days. *Note: We did exchange the "graphite navy" for the back as the graphite navy does look very purple/plum in some light. He almost kept it as he did not want to part with it for the exchange and we all thought the color was nice and neutral, but decided the "purple in some light" was just not him.

My husband usually wears an xl size but this was too large and had to be returned. Lightweight and warm though.

I have been wearing this jacket for a few weeks now. I love the weight of this jacket. It is so light and yet very warm. The entire jacket stuffs into the inside pocket and then can be attached to your belt with a carabiner. I have no complaints!
