So awesome. Super comfortable and not bulky at all. The laces are pretty weak, though, I imagine they will fray much faster than the shoe.

I like the deep black color that it is. Comfortable for walking. I bought this pair for its color and for its comfort. I was looking for an all black pair of sneakers, so I can wear them at the gym and not have to change shoes when I leave. Haven't tried running in them. I don't think they are for running. I wear these shoes everywhere and I don't look like I am en route to the gym all the time.

So far, so good. I've worn them to the gym a few times now, and I can hardly tell I'm wearing shoes. The arch support isn't very good, but I mostly just use the stationary bike, eliptical, and weights, so my feet feel fine. I love how lightweight and minimalist they are. I can easily carry them with me on my bike to work, and then to the gym afterward. The shoes I wore before seem gigantic compared to these, and took up almost all the space in my backpack.

I really like these shoes, my feet are very wide and I bought these hoping they make my feet look a little smaller, since I am 5' tall but have a size 8 1/2 W foot. I've mostly always had luck with D width from New Balance and these fit the bill as well. I bought the black ones and I really like them. They are definitely for casual wear, no way to dress them up. The width at the ball of my foot is good, however, as the shoe moves up to my ankle it is made narrower and there are gaps between each side of the tongue, so if I wear anything other black socks they would show unless my pants cover at least 2" down from my ankle, so the gap is about 2" from the ankle. I'm not sure if my ankle is too fat or if the shoe just wasn't made quite right, I've never had this problem before on any of my other shoes. I have never bought this style of shoe before though either. I've been wearing these shoes daily since I got them and I would definitely purchase them again.

These shoes are so sleek for sneakers and also ultra comfortable. Great for a more narrow foot.

Comfy, stylish and lightweight. I have been wearing them to work (I'm on my feet for 12+ hours) with minimal discomfort. Recommend for those who are on their feet often.

I love these shoes! They're unbelievably comfortable without the "clown feet" appearance of some athletic shoes. Admittedly, I don't use them for running, so I have no idea how they would perform. They are, however, super lightweight and nice looking for knocking around!

I ordered these awesome classics early Tuesday morning and received them mid-day Wednesday! I love Zappos. I really needed these comfortable sneakers for work.

Great overall shoe...look great with all types of pants and I'm sure shorts too! May run a tad snug but the all suede pair seem to give with wear.

This is the first pair of shoes that I have had in years that did not require breaking in! They are wonderfully comfortable.

I love these shoes! Stylish and great fit, though I ignored other reviewers and ordered my own size. Had to send them back for a 1/2 size larger, and they fit well(great, fast customer service by Zappos on the return too!) Will use these for everyday casual wear and also for CrossFit workouts, since they are flat (only minimal arch support) and good for weight lifting.

Love these! Super comfortable. I normally wear an 8.5 wide, and ordered that size. However they are a bit too wide. I probably could have gotten away with the M width. They are very lightweight and the perfect color!

Comfortable, cute, low profile -- I've had these shoes for about a month and love them. Was worried they wouldn't fit my wide feet, but they work perfectly.

These shoes are weightless. After I exercise, I usually take off my workout shoes, not these shoes. I find myself keeping them on without thought. The support is good, and the appearance is not clunky. New Balance has the best shoe of all kinds. Made in America.

This is the second pair of New Balance Classics CW442 that I have bought. The first pair is black and I loved them. I thought if I liked these so well I should get another for regular wear, the grays. Thank you.

These are well made, fairly comfortable shoes. They do not provide much arch support, however.

I love these shoes! They are super cute. I am usually a 7.5 or 8, and I ordered a 7.5, and they fit fine. These shoes were definitely not made for wide feet though. They are snug but not to the point of being uncomfortable.

I've been looking for attractive black sneakers for years. I have trouble with most brands other than New Balance, and I am very pleased with these. They felt a little funny when I first put them on, but I'm on my feet all day and wore them all day the first day I thought them very comfortable. They're cute and have a moderate amount of support. They are not meant for walking long distances... don't buy them as walking shoes. But to wear with black jeans to school or to work or whatever, yeah!

Run a little small. I usually wear a 9, but had to get 9.5 in these.

I love this shoe, even though it is a trifle big. I ordered the size I always do for a New Balance clog, and should have gone smaller. But these are cute and comfortable enough.

I wear these 8 hours a day, standing, walking, moving and taking care of patients. These shoes are super lightweight, comfortable, and my feet haven't hurt in them yet... Even when everything else does. Thanks Zappos and New Balance!

I love these sneakers! They were recommended by Stylist Rachel Zoe in her newsletter, and I'm so glad I purchased. They are thin and lightweight and comfortable (not bulky like a regular New Balance sneaker). True to size. Look so great with yoga pants. Feminine with a little edge!

I love the way the shoes hug my narrow feet when laced. I have high arches, so I wear arch supports, and doing that makes the shoes perfect for my feet.

I love these shoes. They're true to size and much lighter weight than most New Balance shoes.
