My partner says (I purchased these for him), if you have a high arch the top can feel like it is rubbing on the top of your foot. Otherwise a beautiful shoe. (I hope it breaks in for him.)

I bought these for my boyfriend who wears a size 14. They mostly fit well, however cut in a little too soon and put pressure on his little toe. We're hoping they will stretch out and become comfortable enough to wear for a full day.

Good comfortable shoe that did not require a significant break in; however, the European size isn’t a direct comparison and seemed to run a bit small.

This is my second pair of this identical shoe. The first has been a long time favorite. Obviously I like the style and comfort. My only draw back has been trying to replicate the correct size. I have other ECCO shoes and another slip-on is a 44 which is my Euro eqivalent to size 10.5. My new pair felt small and the replacement (45) seems a little tight in the toe box...but, I'm keeping the shoes and I am confident they will stretch. I have a wide foot. The replacement process was an incredible experience in great customer service; Kudos to Zappos!

Ordered a similar pair and they were big and had to be returned. European sizes seem to run big, J normally wear a size nine and had to order a 42 to get the same fit. Otherwise, very good looking, comfortable shoe, well mad and very soft leather.

This is my third pair of ECCO shoes. My first ones that are slip on. I liked them so much I bought another pair in black and retired my Clarks.

Great shoe with great style, but runs just a little large.

Shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Like the others, I had to go a size down from what I normally wear since ECCO uses European sizes, I usually wear a 9 (43), but went with an 8 (42).

Bought my 3rd pair of these recently, so no surprises. They are extremely comfortable and durable. If you are an Ecco wearer, you may find these about a 1/2 size larger than equivalent lace-ups.

Classy look. Had to return for next smaller size, which then felt too small. But after some use they now are fine.

Well the item was late. The shoe I bought (cocoa brown) is listed as with a higher heel (1.25 inches) when in reality it is barely an inch. The shoe is definitely very classy and comfy. Perfect for travelling, walking around and business casual dress code and going on a date. Overall a good shoe to own.

Greetings and salutations, I am a business professional and wear dress shoes at least 40 hours a week. Okay, at least 50 hours a week. I bought my first pair of Ecco shoes years ago and have been hooked ever since. These shoes provide the exact same comfort, cushion, and breathability I have come to expect with Ecco dress shoes. The shoes also feel about a half size larger which makes it nice and easy for me to wear my thick or thin stylish socks. The shoes are great except there is one drawback . You can't tell from the picture but these shoes don't produce the gloss or shine that I like and have on my other leather dress shoes. All in all, a great buy!

This is such a great shoe. I'm buying my 2nd pair. very comfortable for walking.

The only reason I did not give this shoe an overall rating of 5 stars is due to the color. Although it states that the color is "brown," it has a hue of red to the shoe. I was hoping a true deep brown color, but it was not. Hard to find nice brown colored shoes these days, with the comfort that Ecco provides.

The shoes are fantastic. I read other reviews before the purchase and found that the size tends to run a bit larger so I ordered one size small and that's perfect. There is a spot on the back of the right shoe where it seemed like a scratch. I don't want to go through the hassle to exchange but I certainly hoped it would be in better condition for a pair of new shoes.

I had purchased this and a few other Ecco styles I liked online with a plan to return the ones I didn't like in person. (Thanks Zappos!) In the end I preferred this style especially being a lot less over another style. Returned the others with no problems and have been happily wearing my Helsinki's every week on my trips to Boston. (Which is a walking city.)

Had to return this as it did not fit my husband through the toe area. He has bunions and this was too tight.

I usually wear a size 9 tennis shoe, but read that the shoe ran big so I ordered the 42, which should fit size 8-8.5 but it was still too big. I am returning and going to try the next size down, and am hoping it will not be too small.

Is not a wide shoe. A little bit of a cram for EE width. Also, first pair was a full size smaller and needed to return. The real issue is the second set I got were obvious tried out by someone else. Typically not a problem returning shoes but there was an issue in their system... On the replacement pair I ordered there was a scratch in the leather and had some crease marks where they had been tried for a some time.... I have never had this issue before buying from Zappo's, needed the shoes for an event so I didn't have time to send them back. Multiple issues make me think next time I may need to look elsewhere for purchasing.

Sharp looking shoes, but they’re a little snug.

Good quality, very light, soft soles. My problem is that my foot is high towards the ankle and the elastic bands don't stretch enough, making the shoes very tight.
