These shoes are adorable! I hoped they'd fit my son, but unfortunately he has very wide and chubby feet, and so his footwear options are very limited. The straps ARE adjustable, but the top of the ankle strap cut into the the area where his foot meets his ankle, causing an indentation after only about 30 seconds of wearing, so unfortunately I have to return them. Next I'll try a velcro option, probably the brown Timberland sandals.

I love the classic style of these sandals; however, the straps are a bit tricky to do even for a five year old so I end up having to help her put her shoes on. Other than that, we love the sandals.

Zappos sent me a pair of shoes with no box and had obviously had something sticky dripped all over them. So I do not recommend Zappos, but the shoes are ok.

These are ADORABLE. The strap seemed to rub on my little guys ankles.

My one year old has very chubby feet and they are tight even on the last notch. I wish they made the straps longer.

My 2-year-old granddaughter tripped, fell, and smashed her knee the first time she wore these shoes -- and she NEVER falls! The soles are unbelievably stiff, so the child can't really feel the surface beneath them.

Very cute but dug into my 1.5 year old daughter's feet and gave her blisters.

I had a pair similar to these for my daughter but when she grew out of them, these were the closest we could find in the next size up. She has a narrow foot so the dual buckle is very helpful. The soles kind of look like orthopedic shoes but they probably have better support due to that so I can manage. For some reason though, the shoes really rubbed on the insides of my daughters feet and made what looked like deep papercuts on each foot. I think this is due to her feet being quite narrow so they tend to slip a lot. I ended up donating to our local pregnancy resource center-- hopefully they will be a great addition to the closet of a kiddo in need.

I love these sandals. They are classic and easy to clean. My older daughter has no trouble fitting into these. In fact, her current pair has lasted through two summers. However, my 2 year old has a much wider foot with a thicker ankle and the ankle strap was not long enough to fasten without being too tight. I wish they would make the ankle strap just a bit longer with one more hole and they would have been perfect!

First of all, the thicker soles on this shoe are not ideal for beginner walkers. Flexible soles are the best and these are stiff and orthopedic looking. Like other reviews have said, the fact that they are adjustable in the toe box, as well as the ankle was a plus (my child has a narrow foot) but the buckle was very thin and felt cheap. I decided to return the sandal bc it was not as cute as I thought it would be and also since the sole was so stiff.

I LOVE ZAPPOS......I buy shoes for my Grandkids and sometimes cannot get correct size....ZAPPOS says "no problem" and makes it easy to return and find a good fit...These sandals just do not work for my little one, straps are too short (or her foot is too fat) LOL...I'm returning and will look for different style....THANK YOU !!

Had to return because fit was very small. Looks like good quality though.

If your toddler has fat ankles. This will not work at all. They were also just a about a half size too small.

My toddler has wide feet and I was hoping these shoes would fit her perfectly since you adjust them BUT the ankle straps were not long enough for her. Unfortunately returning them

The problem I'm having with these shoes is the top strap. It is SO short! I can only buckle it to fit my little one's foot on the loosest hole, leaving no room for growth. Plus the strap barely tucks into the buckle! My LO says that they are comfortable but I think I'll be sending these back due to this flawed design. Disappointing, since there were so many good reviews and the shoes appear to be well made.

These did not last well & whole strap came out a few weeks later. Usually they are made well & we enjoy, but not this pair.
