These are really cute sandals and my 7 year old son loves them. Nice materials and good quality.

Purchased a pair for my 21 month old...he loves them & so do I. Zappos has amazing service & they sell quality merchandise.

I bought these for my four year old grandson and he loves them. He can put them on himself which makes him very proud. They are sturdy and he wears them to play outside but also to church and tonight headed off to a wedding rehearsal in a tee-shirt, shorts and these sandals! Salt Water Sandals is a great company!

I love these shoes. They are sturdy. My little one says they're comfy, too.

I bought a pair of these for my 6 year old and another pair for my 2 year old. My 2 y/o has always been weird about using sandals and/or flip flops - he has never liked how they feel. But he absolutely loves these!!! He wants to use them everyday to daycare. And my 6 year old likes them a lot too, he says they're very comfortable. Great buy!

This shoe is great! It's very well made and my 19-month old loves them. He runs around all day comfortably without getting blisters or any discomfort. I highly recommend this shoe.

I purchased the sandals for my grandson and they arrived within a few days. I was happy with the quality and look forward to ordering something again in the future.

These are my absolute favorite sandals for my little boy. Comfortable, cute, waterproof; they have it all. Only issue is that the Velcro seems to go more easily than on other shoes, but I buy a few pairs per season, so not a huge deal. Would love to see these come in grey and navy blue, too. Would buy a pair in each color!

Super comfy looking shoes. I like that they cover my little ones toes while letting some air in, for hot summers. They dry fairly quickly and seem well made. They are already too small for my little one, but he is managing to wear them still (his big toe is starting to poke out) - and I plan on keeping them for baby #2 bc they still have a lot of mileage left on them and are gender neutral. Seems to run true to size. We bought them a bit big, and he was still able to wear them.

My son tends to pick shoes and live in them and I was so happy that I got these last summer. He wore them everywhere; beach, pool, outings, church. They held up everywhere and looked great. I took them out to prepare for a trip and they are still in perfect condition. He gets to pick out his own shoes this year (five years old) and he requested these again. I am thrilled.

I think these are adorable on my almost three year old son. My son wears an 8.5 and I bought the 9; his toes don't reach the front so I'm fairly confident that he'll wear them for a while. He also has a wide foot and he has complained in other shoes, but not this pair. My son hasn't gotten these really wet or really dirty yet (I've only put them on him when he's not at daycare,) so I can't comment on their washability, but I wore the salt water sandals as a child, and my Mom swore by their durability.

These are great sandals! They are very cute, comfortable, and durable. For reference, my son's feet are probably average width and between 5.75" and 6" long. We bought size 8 Toddler Medium Width. He tells me when his shoes hurt his feet, but he's never said that about these sandals. He loves them. We bought the brown shoes, and that color of tan/brown looks really good.

Nice shoes, good quality. A little heavier than I would have likedone. The material isn't as soft add I thought it would be and my LO can take them off by himself, but they might be a half size took big. Would probably buy again.

We elected for larger size 'to grow into' for our large 5 year old, thinking the shoes would last for at least a year (we are having 2 summers, moving from northern hemisphere to southern). In the end, the problem is 5 year olds run hard when wearing the same shoes each day AND love to go through water on a hot day (and since they were advertised as water shoes, we let him). They were definitely comfortable and enabled hard outdoor play in play grounds. I really liked how they looked classy but were designed for hard play, at a reasonable price. BUT, after 8 weeks of above, the heel on both shoes is detached from the sole! Really disappointed, but also learned that it's unlikely any shoe will survive 12 month + of 5 year old activity, so we're going to buy another pair of more accurately fitting and we will try another brand.

Not true to size runs 2 sizes too small returning for a bigger size

The Velcro on this sandal was a deal breaker. The Velcro tab is super short, so you have to unthread the tab to get the sandal on/off. But worse, the Velcro tab pops open with the slightest movement (i.e. flexing the foot).

These shoes are very heavy.

Wondering if I just got a not-so-great pair as most of the reviews are highly supportive of this shoe. I ordered for my 12 month old, wanting a close toe shoe, dries quickly for the price listed and felt these were the best option, based on reviews. At first arrival, I was a little worried about the thickness/chunky shoe. I decided to keep them, even though I wish they weren't so chunky, but he walks in them fine. However, I've owned these for about two months, he wears them most days, but he's only one years old and there are cracks in the leather, frayed seems and the leather is peeling off in areas, not to mention they smell terrible. The shoe does dry quickly, which I really like, but I'm worried I'll have to replace with another sandal before the summer is over. Wish I could find a close toe, comfortable, quality shoe for boys that is in an affordable price range, dries quickly and doesn't smell. I wouldn't make this choice again.

I agree with the other review that the velcro on these barely hold. My twin boys run around so much and it's annoying to always have to chase them AND their shoes that fall off everywhere.

Velcro stopped working after two weeks. Shoes would fall off so my boys could wear to daycare during the day.

These are cute looking but the Velcro stopped working after 2 weeks and neither of my kids could wear them to daycare any longer since they said they were unsafe and would fall off.

I've bought my son these sandals in years past and the quality was top notch. They do not stink or get moldy like other water sandals out there. However, this year, the sandals were very poor quality. The Velcro doesn't work at all (as in it's very low quality and doesn't stick) and as a result the shoes keeps falling off my son's feet.
