My kids love their Salt Water Sandals! The silver color is great because it matches with everything. My girls both have narrow feet and the straps can be tightened to perfectly fit. The leather is really soft and never gave either of them blisters. I am jealous and wish I had a pair of these sandals!

My 2 year old daughter loved these shoes from the moment she put them on. She had no break-in period; they were comfy immediately. The leather is soft, the footbed is flexible, the straps adjust. They dry quickly and give her great traction on the playground and in the water. They dress up well too. She's a picky consumer and she gives them great marks. They don't have a lot of arch support but I believe that this is a good thing for muscle development in growing feet. I heart Zappos.

This is our fourth pair of Hoy sandals, so I am a big fan. They run large. My 2 year old wears a size 8.5 in Stride Rite and I had to order the 8 in these shoes, with room to grow. My only complaint is that the buckle across the toe on one sandal has become loose and needed to be re-pinched with pliers. But, I still vouch for the quality and apparent comfort. And, the bright pink (which is really a patent leather) are so versatile.

These sandals are fabulous! I tried about eight different pairs of more modern velcro sandals on my 19 month old daughter and these fit her the best by leaps and bounds. They seem to be truly made for a toddler foot. She was comfortable in them instantly and doesn't mind me buckling them. The sandals are also absolutely adorable on. Simple but stylish look great with dresses, skirts and shorts or leggings.

these are great little sandals. the hot pink was a major hit for my six year old granddaughter. I love that you can adjust the width. the only negative is that they are a little hard to buckle. she is very independent and doesn't want any help. I think they will get easier as she wears them. a velcro strap would have been nice. but, the positives outweight the negative. they straps are soft and the sole is not stiff. we ordered another pair when we ordered these and she totally rejected them because they were stiff and heavier. I love the color choices. as usual Zappos was a hit.

The Salt Water Sandal is absolutely adorable. My nearly 3 year old saw them and wanted to put them on immediately. While the buckles take more work on my part than velcro, our daughter is motivated to learn to buckle her shoes so she can be a big girl. I agree that they seem about a 1\/2 size big, but I appreciate having the extra room to grow into. Wonderful shoes.

I love these shoes!! My daughter has a very narrow foot and the buckle on this shoe is a life saver. I have to have every color now that I know they fit her. Very soft and flexible.

Very cute - Very cute little girl summer shoe. I love this brand. I used it with both children every summer for the past 6 years. Really no arch support but still a great summer shoe.

Very cute shoe, runs a little large - We got the shiny yellow- very cute and comfortable, had to get a smaller size though.

Comfortable shoe - My 4 year old has been wearing these shoes since she was an infant. It’s the one shoe she doesn't argue about wearing. True to size and will fit all year. She never complains about them being uncomfortable. Also they match with everything from dresses to shorts.

Super cute and comfortable - I love the extra padding in the foot bed over the traditional salt water sandals (although my daughter loved those too). She gets tons of compliments when she wears these cute red shoes!

I'm a mother of 4 year old twins and I'm picky. I want leather uppers and leather footbeds for my children and am happiest when I can buy goods that are made in the USA. This is our second summer living in Salt Water sandals by Hoy. They are very sturdy shoes that are instantly comfortable. We use and like the traditional sole and the thicker white one; however, beware a few things about the different leather styles. The shiny leathers scuffed and were easily gouged, tearing the color away; the rosebud (printed flowers) design wore off on the sides; that said, I 100% recommend any of the solid/standard leathers and they look like-new a whole year later, can be wiped clean, etc. The shoes also fit big so if you're child is a 9.5, a size 9 will do.

I love these sandals, however my daughter hates them. They pinch her ankle and she fights me when I try to make her wear them. That being said they are adorable and remind me of sandals I wore as a child simple and cute.

Love these shoes. Good for all of the summer play- sand to water. This pair lasted us well but other pairs have not... so quality is uneven.

We LOVE these sandals. Please never stop making the rose gold Sweetheart sandals. I love that the insole is taupe and doesn’t show dirt like the white insoles do. The rose gold is leather, which wears better than the patent which tends to crack. I also love the thick soles/eurathane soles. I distinctly remember wearing the originals when I was a kid and my feet hurting if I ran in them, but the thick soles sweethearts (and other styles) seem more comfortable. My little one refers to them as her “running sandals”.

This is my five year old’s second pair of sandals from this maker. Her first ones last through two summers as the footbed, together with the adjustable straps, affords for growing feet. I’m not sure these will fit next summer as her feet are growing much faster it seems, but given the durability of the first pair I’m certain they will be able to go to her younger sister. The design is so simple, yet they really are durable for even the active, “rough and tumble” play at the playground. Not once has my daughter complained about discomfort with this brand of shoes, nor has she ever ended up with blisters or sores even on the hottest, most humid of days when even her flip flops have been known to cause tiny blisters. These shoes also look as great with her sporty clothes as they do with her cute, little dresses. Whether it’s going to the playground, going for a walk, running errands around town or going to a birthday celebration, these are her sandals of choice!

My 5 yr old loves this sandal. She’s been wearing them ever since they arrived. It does run large, but my daughter’s between sizes so I sized up. I was comfortable doing that because a previous reviewer mentioned the front and back buckle were especially useful for customizing both straps, so although the sole is clearly too large for her, the straps are adjusted so that the sandal fits.

We LOVE these. The run a little big, but my little one had a little extra room in her toes for a short while. We got the rose gold, I prefer the leather over patent leather because the patent leather cracks. The insoles on the rose gold are a grey-ish color which is great for hiding dirt (the white insoles look dirty quickly).

Sandals were cute, likely very comfy but as other reviewers noted run really big. I ordered my granddaughter’s usual size 3, too big, but I doubt she could have size down to 2.

Salt Water sandals are not only super cute but super comfortable. The silver is great for summer.
