Great for fishing. 1. The readers are perfect for tying knots and the reader field of vision is compact enough not to interfere for when you are not using them. 2. The coverage of the lens are complete, with no sun infiltrating from the sides. 3. Ergonomically fit to hold their position without pinch points. 4 absolutely feather lite and comfortable. I've had them on for 10+ hours straight and forgot about them. My second pair - I stepped on my first. If you use gear, you break gear. I'd love if MJ made a 3x strength as flyline tippet is pretty darn skinny to see.

I have had my glasses for fourteen years.purchased for honeymoon. Bora Bora is beautiful but with maul Jim's it looks awesome.

I was t sure I would like bifocals because my regular glasses are progressive. I wish all of my Maui Jim's were bifocal! No more changing glasses to read my phone or watch. These are great!

I, like some other reviewers, have had recent cataract surgery. I have good distance vision except for minor astigmatism. I bought these sunglasses specifically for driving. They work well, and I'm happy with my purchase. The 1.5 level of magnification is just right for reading the dashboard display while driving. My only suggestion is that the bi-focal segment would benefit from being raised about 1mm. I find I have to tilt my head back just a bit when reading the speed, etc.

Fit great and no pressure on my head even after hours of wearing, very clear and great protection.

My second pair of Maui Jims - love them. They are very light,comfortable whilst being robust. They are polarised and so cut out a lot of glare. I would definitely recommend them if you need a pair of ready-reader sunglasses.

Bought my 1st pair of Ho opika's about 12 years ago. Great fit, stay in place when I'm golfing or in the pool. Very comfortable & durable. 6 years ago I got a 2nd pair, this time prescription and wore them until the 1st of this year. Never had any problems with them but I had cataract surgery in January and no longer need a prescription so now I'm back to wearing my original pair. Dr. told me after surgery that I should try the bronze lenses which he said would really make my vision pop, and he was right. So now I'm about to but my 3rd pair only this time with the bronze lenses. I'll never wear any other brand of sunglasses again, I'm a Maui Jim guy for life!

Wore these bad boys out on the course for the first time yesterday. Loved em. Super light, great tinting, very comfortable.

my first pair of these was stolen, my second pair was lost while hunting, now my third pair is here!! I hope to be able to keep These!! If these get away from me I will get another just like them! I love them.

Wonderful glasses, lasted me for more than 8 years (purchased in 2010) without a scratch despite daily use

I bought these glasses a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised at how light they are. In fact, they're so light they don't feel like they'll be very durable, but time will tell. I like the readers, although they take a little getting used to as the magnified part of the lens is lower on the lens than most other readers that I've had. These are very comfortable and do a great job of cutting the glare of the snow. Hopefully I'll soon have an opportunity to try them in some sunshine and water that isn't frozen!

I've had probably 15 pairs of these glasses over the tears & they are phenomenal. From sitting on them & breaking them, scratching them & eyes changing needing stronger readers, these are hands down the best sunglasses/reader glasses ever made.

My fourth pair of Ho'Okipas. I haven't seen anything on the market to change my mind.

I purchased my Ho'okipas back in 2007-2008 and haven't looked back since! I really dig the HCL Bronze with Tortise frame. I really love how the bronze doesn't take away from the natural beauty of Mother Nature, not too dark, not too bright, but keeps the vision absolutely clean and clear! The wife has the Makhanas with Rose and Tortise frame. All we've had to do is periodically order new nose pads and temples and replace the lenses once since the original purchase. Keep up the great work!!!

I purchased these in the Spring of '17 and they are the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I purchased them in prescription and mostly for golf. They don't slip or move in the slightest when I play. I can see the ball better and read the greens better...no glare and great clarity. I can wear them over my golf hat or under...either way works great. I opted for the HT lenses...love them. I've worn them now for 6 months and almost daily...no problems...and the size fits my average head size.

Had cataract surgery two months ago on both eyes. These were perfect for immediate sun protection! Love the Maui Jim readers lenses!

Bought these glasses last spring while vacationing in Maui. Lov, lov, love these sunglasses. Lost them on a shopping trip to the grocery store and was heartbroken. Waitrd a week or two to see if they would be turned in , but no luck. Sooo, I replaced them. I get so many compliments when I wear them.
