This is my second pair of Maui Jim's. I had the first pair for three years. They were lost. For a quick fix I bought a cheap pair of a no name brand to get buy. They were terrible. I finally decided to purchase another pair. I was reluctant to purchase on line because Iill like to hold them in my hand and try them on. Plus, I was ordering the cheaters for reading. When I received I went outside in the sun and put them on. It was like a massage for my eyes. I see no reason to look and further for any other brand. A d I'll never make myself suffer with the inferior brands again. The best of the best!! Thank you Maui Jim!

I had an old pair that was due to be replaced and bought exactly the same style/color. LOVE THE GLASSES

My third pair of Maui Jim's and fit in beautifully, I almost don't need my regular glasses anymore during the day.

I have had these for about a year and a half. Absolutely love them. I had a pair of Maui Jim Rx glasses then had cataract surgery and only need readers. These are awesome. I'll never buy anything else

These glasses are great! They are the smaller of the two Maui Jim readers in size. I have had a pair of Maui Jim Ho'okipa readers for years and loved them also. The warranty on Maui Jim is so easy and they are reasonably priced if it is out of warranty on lenses & frames. Great glasses buy them!

These are the best, I've worn Costas over the years, but these are far better. I lost my last pair in the surf (if you see Charlies Tuna sporting a pair of these glasses, you'll know where they came from) and I've tried to get by with lesser glasses, but none of them are worth half the price.

I've had my pair of Maui Jim readers for more than two years now and I swear by them. The optics are crystal clear and the quality is unsurpassed. I've bought cheaper in the past, but never again. These are the best -- and when it comes to my vision, only the best will do.

Picked up a pair of the Trans Smoke Grey last weekend. They happened to have them at my local optometrists and they are great! Wasn't looking for readers built in but after trying them on I bought them.

These are my favorite sunglasses and they broke about two weeks before the 2 year warranty expired. I contacted Zappos and they sent me a new pair that arrived the next day.

Having the ability to read outdoors (menus, books, etc) is really a great luxury. Beats carrying a set of readers along and looking like a dork

I purchased a pair last year for my trip to the Caribbean. Makaha Readers are perfect for me. I just love them!

Great sunglasses with the added benefit of being able to read with out changing to another pair of glasses.

These are really cool sunglasses! The lens is far superior to any other glasses I've had. I especially bought them for the readers though.

I have owned a pair of makahas without readers for 10 years and love them, but now that I need readers for any reading, I had an issue trying to read while outside. These new makahas WITH READERS are awesome. I can now sit outside in the sun and read books. I do have to hold the book at a certain angle in order to see through the reader lens, which takes some getting used to. The gray lens are great for really bright sunny days, and polarized lens are very crisp. But on partly sunny days it is harder to see through the gray lens vs the rose color lens in my other pair. The black gloss frames also are slightly heavier than the tortoise shell frames of my other pair, which are the very lightest sunglasses I've ever worn. Black gloss is a very sleek look. I now have 2 pair makahas and love them both!

Sadly Maui Jim has discontinued the Honolua Bay model which was the best fitting pair of shades I have ever owned. I found that these are a reasonable replacements for them. The folding case is slick and I was happy to be able to get these in a reader. I'm as pleased as can be with something other than my Honolua Bay Maui Jims

I wish Maui Jim would put these readers in frames designed for a smaller face. I LOVE the concept of these. But the readers are too low and the only way I can see out of them is to left the glasses up and then close one eye because they are too far apart. My husband has a pair of these and loves them. I really wish they had worked for me.

Very flimsy frame; flexible but delicate. Broke frame at the bridge with normal use of on and off.

The bifocal is quite small and not directly in my line of vision. I think a smaller frame would fit me better, sinceI have a small face, and maybe the bifocal would be better suited to me. If you have a regular sized face, these should do well for you.

This is my 4th pair of Maui Jims and I love them. I was thrilled when my optician told me they could get readers for me. Regretably, the reader portion is much too small for summer beach reading. Too much money wasted on these and too little info about these readers on the website.

I bought these because they were bendable. What they meant was flexible, they do not bend into any position, go right back to original shape.

I have had several Maui Jim sunglasses which I love. I purchased the readers with high hopes that these would work after pricing the RX Maui Jim sunglasses. The bifocal area is just too small. Just couldn't make them work for me. The rating I gave applies to the area on the bifocal being to small. Love my other Maui Jim purchases.
