I was in the market for another pair of glasses from another major brand, but the salesman showed me these and they were so clear. Very lightweight!!!

I bought my first pair a few yrs ago when I was told I needed to block out the UV light from my eyes. I looked around and found this style. I have to tell you they are great, they block out the side light and feel very comfortable to wear. I wear my sunglasses every day of the year and the quality of Maui Jims is beyond compare. I now have the grey and bronze lens and love them both. Being outside alot and doing a lot of driving you need a good quality sunglass and these more than do the job

Very light weight and really comfortable. Really like the brown lenses. These are great for any type of activity.

I bought these when on holidays in Melbourne and they would have to be the best pair of sunnies I have ever bought, so clear and no glare love them.

I bought these sunglasses a week ago I'm an admirer of polarized lenses, so I always bought polarized glasses from another famous brand, but when I tried these, under the advice of my optician ... it was love at first view! the vision is so relaxing and comfortable ... very often I forget to clear them worn ... I bought those colored in dark green, but I'm tempted to provere others ...

Light weight, the Lighthouse fit great, best sunglasses I have ever owned.

Branched out and love it! I have always worn black polarized bolle or oakleys. Decided to dress it up a bit and get these Maui Jim's. I love them. They are light with great lenses. They look very nice. I'm converting to Maui Jim's now and this style is great!

I love Maui Jim sunglasses and I own several pair. These just did not fit my face as I would have liked. Otherwise, very lightweight and quality.

Absolutely the best sunglasses ever & so comfortable! Stay put, ear & nose pieces soft. Perfect for a small face. Going to buy a black pair too.

I'm so sad! I had my Maui Jims for 5 yrs and lost them today in the ocean! Time for another pair...best sunglasses ever!

Great looking glasses. I bought them to replace a similar pair that I lost. The ridged nose piece is a little heavy- wish the smooth version was a special order option- but otherwise, I love the glasses.

My favorite sun glasses by far. Light weight, comfortable, and nothing cuts glare like Maui's. Tried some other brands, but they aren't the same. Would have given 5 stars except they can scratch fairly easily.

Love the style. They are a perfect sixe for those if us with smaller faces. My only negative comment is about the rose color tint. The color made a sunny day feel a bit dark. I prefer yellow tint.

I exchanged the Pipiwai Trail for the Sandy Beach and am a lot happier. Sandy Beach are very light and sporty. I have a small face and they fit nicely. The only thing is you have to get used to "bump" on the lens in the outer corner from where the side piece attaches to the lenses. It seemed to be in my line of sight at first bit it became unnoticeable to me after a few days. Really love these!

Absolutely the best, I have serious sunlight issues and nothing works as good as this. It is light weight and flexible, but it breaks easily in the middle, I wish I could give 4&1/2 and the 4 is only because it breaks so easily. I have bought 3 and will be buying my 4th now. It works for me and I recommend to everyone I know, siblings have bought as well.

I've had these for 3 years. And of course they start coming apart at the nose piece now. And I'm very careful with these. Always kept them in their case. So it's pretty disappointing that this is happening.

Best glasses I've ever had until one day they were mysteriously cracked at the bridge!?! I've never dropped them or misused them and there is not even a scratch on the lenses, and they are kept in a hard case all the time. Not sure what happened but it is expensive to replace the lenses for what seems to be a defective bridge.

Had these for years, finally started to show a scratch or two; ultimately the glasses snapped into two pieces at the bridge as I tried to close arms (and I never placed these in a bag or anything!) Other than that disappointment, they are great for the price. I could wear these all day no problem, barely even adjusting them. They're hard to put on with one hand since they are flimsy, but that's a minor nuisance and trade off for the light weight.

I purchased the gloss black with neutral grey lenses about 3 months ago and overall I do enjoy theses shades. I have a fairly medium sized head and they fit great. They are super lightweight and have a good amount of flexibility to them making them great for outdoor activities. The downfall is actually in the lens, maybe it's my opinion, but the polycarbonate lens just can't compare to the glass, MauiPure, MauiBrilliant, or MauiEvolution lenses in terms of clarity. These still are a great choice if you need something lightweight and a 'sporty' pair of shades for outdoor activities.

I have had my Jim's for about 4 months and I love them. The lenses are the best plastic lens I've owned. The only thing I would change is to make the frames a little stiffer.

I recently purchased these and have tried them now for a few days. Love the lightweight and comfortable nose bridge fit, and the lenses are amazing in the way they filter sunlight and create clarity in strong sunlit conditions. I had my last MJs for about 15 years, hope these last just as long!

I bought this pair of my Maui Jims over a year ago now. Let me start by saying that this is my 4th pair of Maui Jims. With that being said,I love how well these fit my face and how they block out the rays. However, the white frame leaves something to be desired. The white has seemed to fade and now has an off-white tint to them. I will be returning these to see if Maui Jim can fix this.

MJ makes a lot of LIGHT weight sporty shades (Ho'okipa), that are a joy to wear--but these Lighthouses take the cake for LIGHTER than light. You barely feel them with MJ's comfortable sport rubber nose pads. Optics in the Bronze are very nice--the equal of any Bronze polycarb MJs I have tried. However, I bought mine on an impulse at the mall, and I wish I had waited and researched and read these reviews first--this model appears to have some problems with lens cracking in the same place, as reported over and over and over again. Mmmmm, we'll see...! I mean, even though MJ is GREAT about repair service and standing by their warranty, who wants to deal with that. No, no, no. I need my glasses daily, and waiting 2 weeks for repairs on recently puchased sunglasses is a thumbs downer...

I had these glass for several year. Had to send for repair once. One of the lens cracked at the bridge. Within a year or so, same thing happened, but before I could send to have repaired, they snapped in half at the bridge when a small wave on the gulf coast hit me smack in the face. Again, they are wonderful sunglasses, if your not too active and much easier to wear (lighter) than the Costas I had before. I've bought a pair of Ho'okipa Maui Jim. They are not as comfortable as the Lighthouse glasses, but I'm hoping they are more durable.
