Bought these as a gift for my mother and she raves about the quality and ability to read her books outdoors in the sun. I was concerned they looked too masculine but they look great on women and not too large for the face.

I didn't really need another pair of Maui Jim's being an owner of several but these looked too cool to pass up on. Plus we were heading to Maui & Kauai for the holidays...Christmas present for me! Honestly, they rock. I had several compliments on them and as everyone who owns a pair knows there are no better lenses than Maui Jim's. Period.

The readers allow you to read without having to take off your sunglasses and swap them for reading glasses. Maui Jim quality and very lightweight. Sporty look.

Great glasses! I have had several pairs of these, and while they are not inexpensive, they do wear well and last a long time. They are super lightweight, but don't feel flimsy... I've had my oldest pair about 5 years and they have held up really well.

i bought the maui rose about 3 months ago while on vacation in destin fl they make the whole world look so much more full of life if i have to go with out them the world looks so dull anymore u just have to buy them and c for yourself its really indescribable i promise u want b disappointed best purchase i have ever made worth every penny and more just make sure u get the maui rose

I've only had one other pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and I recently dropped them and they broke on the bridge. I had them for over 15 years! I was devastated when they broke. I decided to try a pair of Oakley RPM's and sadly I was disappointed in their performance. I had to return them. I know Maui Jim sunglasses are an investment but my oh my you will not be disappointed. I received this pair today and I immediately tore open the package, put them on and it was HEAVEN!! You cannot go wrong with this brand. Absolutely phenomenal!!! Thank you Zappo for SUPER fast shipping too!

Shortly after moving to Southern Cali, I sun burned my eyes by using cheap sun glasses on my light blue eyes. MJ's were recommended for the polarization, so I purchased my first Ho'okipa's. After several years of faithful service, the dog ate them. Of course I sprinted to the store for another pair, same style. It's been 18 years and 2 pair now. They have been dropped, thrown, sat on, stepped on, and slept in and only recently lost a nose pad. Thanks to the outstanding customer service of MJ, they will be repaired. Now my only dilemma is what do without them during repair...I see a second pair in my future! I think it's safe to say, MJ's rock!!!

These are my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. I tried them for the first time at a little shack selling swim supplies while visiting Maui. I had never experienced such a crisp, NO GLARE whatsoever view, YET the lens did NOT take ANYTHING away from the natural beauty I was experiencing on the beach. In fact, I was able to enjoy the beauty even more than before wearing the sunglasses.

I had a pair for almost four years. I broke the frame once and MJ replaced it within days. I broke an arm and they totally rehabbed the glasses for less than half the cost. So light that I often forget I have them on! Great on the water and snow. My wife got a pair and loves them. A replacement for the pair I finally lost is on my Xmas list.

I purchased them a week ago, my first pair of MJ's. I currently have more than five pairs of Oakley's that I have used for many years and these outperforms every other pair I ever had. The clarity is second to none, lightweight and the quality is awesome.

My head is kind of large and my face is round and full. I have a hard time finding sunglasses that look even half decent on me. But, these Maui Jim Ho'okipa glasses (I have the gloss black with neutral gray lens) work perfectly for me - like no other brand I've tried. Kanaha also works well for fat, round head shapes. (I owned Kanaha for four years before a guy stepped on them. I replaced with Ho'okipa. Both are excellent.)

Those are just a few words I can think of to describe these sunglasses. You get what you pay for is true when it comes to these sunglasses. I forget I am wearing them sometimes, that's how light and comfortable they are..

I bought these glasses about a month ago. They are so light weight. The fit is perfect and if you bend your head down they do not slip or fall off! We live on the water and they are so comfortable. Your eyes feel rested. No glare from bright sun shining on sparkling water!! I love them!

These are my husbands favorite pair of sunglasses. They are lightweight, frameless and great looking! Maui Jim make a great product!

I have been wearing Maui Jim sunglasses for over twenty five years. Light weight, durable and good looking. Recently returned a pair that I had broken and a new pair with case returned within ten days. They stand by their warranties and truly understand customer service. They are the best!

I've had these Hookipa's around 5 years now. Use them mostly for outdoor sports like hiking, trail running and now road biking. Very light, great clarity and sun protection. Perfect wrap around to cover the peripheral. I own 4 pair of Maui Jim's so you can tell I really like their sunglasses. Compared to my old Oakleys, these MJ's seem more scratch resistant. MJ is also good at repairing sunglasses and/or replacing them if they can't be repaired. I've had to send a pair in when I broke a lens.

Excellent all around sunglasses highest quality. Extremely happy with Maui Jim's...I like them more than my Oakleys, and their more confortable

I bought these glasses with readers so I would be able to tie on flies without swapping glasses and they work great. They are very comfortable.

I've been wearing the Hookipa reader glasses for about 8 years. They have excellent front/side coverage and work well with nature, including fishing, hiking, traveling. Few weeks ago I tripped on a rock and hit the left side of my eye area in a "face plant." The glasses did not break, only scratched and literally saved my bacon. They work on many levels. Thank you Maui Jim!

By far the most neutral color of any sunglasses I have ever owned (Ray Ban, Bolle, Tifosi, you name it). These are actually DARK enough to get the job done. The lenses contain what I believe is Europium to provide a boost to red wavelengths that can be lost with some truly dark lenses...as a physicist and an engineer, I found this very impressive (look at the edge of the lenses in sunlight, they actually glow red). The sunglasses are so light and comfortable that I can literally forget I have them on. I also find that the anti-reflective coating on the back of the lenses is subtle enough to not cause distracting blue reflections, like some other AR lenses. As someone who wears sunglasses nearly every day (hereditary enlarged pupils), these are my go-to pair. I recently had new lenses put in as a repair...this was fast and VERY reasonable ($75 all-in and included new nose pads and a new case). You get what you pay for. These are certainly worth the spend and having them renewed for only $75 vs buying a new pair only adds to the value. Kudos, Maui Jim!

I was hesitant at first about buying a pair of $200 sunglasses. But after having them for awhile, I'm so HAPPY I did. I got a scratch on one of the lenses somehow. So I sent them into Maui Jim to get them repaired. To make a long story short, I sent them in and they sent them back a week later with a receipt that said I owed them nothing!!
