my first pair of these was stolen, my second pair was lost while hunting, now my third pair is here!! I hope to be able to keep These!! If these get away from me I will get another just like them! I love them.

Wonderful glasses, lasted me for more than 8 years (purchased in 2010) without a scratch despite daily use

I bought these glasses a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised at how light they are. In fact, they're so light they don't feel like they'll be very durable, but time will tell. I like the readers, although they take a little getting used to as the magnified part of the lens is lower on the lens than most other readers that I've had. These are very comfortable and do a great job of cutting the glare of the snow. Hopefully I'll soon have an opportunity to try them in some sunshine and water that isn't frozen!

I've had probably 15 pairs of these glasses over the tears & they are phenomenal. From sitting on them & breaking them, scratching them & eyes changing needing stronger readers, these are hands down the best sunglasses/reader glasses ever made.

Bought a pair of sunnies with readers, what could be better for an aging wannabee dude!

Just purchased this model for the first time. At first glance, they feel and look flimsy. After a while, you can tell that they are not flimsy, just light. They cut all the glare out of your life while driving or doing any activity. The lenses are (polycarbonate) a fancy name for high tech plastic. They can sustain an impact without breaking glass into your eyes. The view from these is phenomenal. Nice and light so you do not get soar wearing them all day. I bought brand new Oakley (SIPHON) sunglasses before buying these. They made my stomach turn. I am an Oakley person who has now been turned on to Maui Jim for good. The Oakley’s look as though they were injection molded (frames). You can see the marks on the inside of arms, which look very disgusting. Buy these Maui Jim sunglasses. You will not go wrong. On my first photo the Maui Jim’s were on the bottom and Oakley’s on top. Second photo, Oakley’s on left and Maui Jim’s on right. Happy sunglass shopping !!! You know what to buy now.

Bought these as a gift for my son-in-law. He said they fit great, and he was amazed at the clarity and that they were so lightweight. They looked even better on him than I anticipated. I bought the Sandy Beach sunglasses for my daughter with the same good result. I am very happy with my purchase. I ordered from Zappos because Maui Jim listed them as an authorized online retailer, which can be relied on if there is a future issue, and because they are a great and friendly company.

Everyone has said it and I will too: These are very light weight. I can't attest to how durable these are because of the short amount of time I've owned them but I will say this: I am so happy that I went with these and not the Oakley's. In my search for a quality pair of sunglasses it always seemed that I'd find some in another brand where the frames were nice but the lenses didn't have the specs I was looking for. Or it'd be the other way around! Frustrated I turned to other brands and found these. And I am ever so glad I did!!! Even though I think I have a large head these fit just fine both to the sides of head and over the nose. I bought these to mainly wear while driving so I can't say how well they'd stay on doing any sort of activity. Every now and again I'll look over the top of these just to see how much these things are saving my eyes. It is astounding to me how much glare these knock out! I got the grey ones that block out the most light by the way. And to address the elephant in the room NO! these shades are not cheap. Cheap shades aren't good and Good shades aren't cheap! This is far and away the most expensive pair of sunglasses that I've ever owned and I don't regret it at all. Do you and your eyes a favor and get these!!!

I have three pair of these glasses. I get lots of compliments on them. The blue lens especially gets good feedback from friends. I highly recommend.

By far the best pair of sunglasses I've ever owned. I will always buy Maui Jim.

My fourth pair of Ho'Okipas. I haven't seen anything on the market to change my mind.

I purchased my Ho'okipas back in 2007-2008 and haven't looked back since! I really dig the HCL Bronze with Tortise frame. I really love how the bronze doesn't take away from the natural beauty of Mother Nature, not too dark, not too bright, but keeps the vision absolutely clean and clear! The wife has the Makhanas with Rose and Tortise frame. All we've had to do is periodically order new nose pads and temples and replace the lenses once since the original purchase. Keep up the great work!!!

I purchased these in the Spring of '17 and they are the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I purchased them in prescription and mostly for golf. They don't slip or move in the slightest when I play. I can see the ball better and read the greens better...no glare and great clarity. I can wear them over my golf hat or under...either way works great. I opted for the HT lenses...love them. I've worn them now for 6 months and almost daily...no problems...and the size fits my average head size.

Had cataract surgery two months ago on both eyes. These were perfect for immediate sun protection! Love the Maui Jim readers lenses!

Bought these glasses last spring while vacationing in Maui. Lov, lov, love these sunglasses. Lost them on a shopping trip to the grocery store and was heartbroken. Waitrd a week or two to see if they would be turned in , but no luck. Sooo, I replaced them. I get so many compliments when I wear them.

I was thrown forward off a horse onto my head, face and shoulder hard enough to leave abrasions down my riding helmet (and my face). My 8-year-old Maui Jims were scratched, but neither frames nor lenses broke. My eyes are totally fine. While of course they are not safety goggles, in this case they definitely came through when it counted. Mahalo, y'all.

I've had 2 pair of Kanaha with grey lenses for around 10 years. Loved them.Like the MJ Sport syle with the wrap around lenses and lightweight design. Went with Hookipa in the Blue Hawaii lenses and really love them. The blue mirror coating applied to the grey lenses produce a bronze tint. They're not as dark as the grey I'm used to but as I've aged I appreciate the higher contrast the lenses produces which help me see better. Not as comfortable going straight into the afternoon sun, but better over all for variable conditions. Really love the blue color of the lenses !!!
