I never understood why people would spend more than a couple dollars on sunglasses. I never bought nice sunglasses and didn't feel the need since I didn't wear sunglasses too often (probably because I never invested in a pair worth wearing). After marrying in to a family of Maui Jim fans, my wife bought me these glasses and they completely blew me away. The sharp color contrast that the lenses give is unbelievable. These glasses are extremely lightweight and I wear them as often as I can. I refuse to go golfing without them; These glasses really make the white ball pop against the sky, making it incredibly easy to track ball flight. I've had these glasses for 3 and 1/2 years now and they're holding up great. I'm starting to see some very small cracks on the lens by the nose bridge, but I'm not concerned. They appear to be natural wear and tear and nothing that will compromise the glasses. If they eventually do break, I plan to buy replacement lenses from Maui Jim.

I'm glad to have found these after years of cheap, bulky sunglasses. I'd buy cheap because I knew I'd break them. And I have. These glasses are not meant to be folded up and put in a pants pocket, especially while climbing over fallen trees. My bad. So I take better care of them, and they serve me very well on trails and on the water. I spend a lot of time in the woods, and I really like the clarity of the lighter lenses in that setting. Customer service is perhaps the best I've encountered from any company.

Outside of that it requires two hands to put on your face there is not a better sunglass lens then the Maui's . I am on my 5th pair in 7 years have tried every good company out there before and even in-between i always go back . My wife goes through sun glasses to much but I got her a pair and we are on summer #2 and she still has them .

Had them for a couple years now and also had them repaired by this awesome company! I dragged them through the dirt though! Heavy construction work and numerous vacations destroys most eyewear! Maui's prevail through it all! Always something stupid that busts them up finally (wearing on a job site). Best thing was, I only had to send them in to Peoria to have them repaired. Moral of the story: Maui Jim makes the most comfortable, durable and clearest eyewear you can want.

I have never treated myself to a good pair of sunglasses out of the fear that I would just lose them or break them until my husband finally convinced me that he was tired of looking at the same $40 drugstore pair I've worn for the last 6 years. I have kind of a small face (and head) and have trouble finding flattering glasses that fit me in the "adult" section. Not so with these. I love these glasses, the fit, the protection, the light weight, everything about them. I do occasionally "lose" them when I park them on my head indoors because they are SO light but I definitely do not regret buying them.

I am on my fourth pair of LightHouse. Unlike other users I have not experienced any of the lens cracking or frame breaking issues. The nose pieces generally become loose around a year old. I work in golf in Florida and generally I destroy the lenses before the frame from constant cleaning of sweat and salt.

First pair purchased circa 2011/2, stayed in good working order even when subjected to a charcoal grill, a traffic accident, childbirth, and dropping from a 2-story roof. Met their untimely demise last week during owner's negligence in subjecting them to a toddler. Ordered identical replacement pair two days later without hesitation and would do it again if I have to. Great all around sunglasses with an exceptional durability and overall lifespan.

I love these sunglasses. I may have owned 3 pair of the same by now. The bronze lens makes everything appear clearer and sharper and the wraparound frame provides extra sun protection. They look good, but not too sporty. I wear them with everything and in every activity from a day at the beach, hike on the trail, drive in the car, or lunch at a cafe. Maui Jim is the best!

I love Maui Jim sunglasses. This is my 3rd pair. These are very lightweight and perfect for running or other outdoor activities. They provide great protection and a great, clear view.

Bought a pair of Stingray sunglasses almost 8 years ago and they are the best! The HCL Bronze lens is lighter than regular lenses, but offers great protection, allows for good twilight seeing, and is perfect for everyday use.

Very comfortable and cool even in Bright day @ 45 degree sunny day. Great look and impressive. Good value for money.

Hands down best sunglasses I ever owned. Wasn't a wire sunglasses fan until these. Like wearing nothing!!! Awesome!!

Bought this one some days ago here in Switzerland. My old one was broken so i just toke this one in a professional store. What a surprise! The best one i ever had!

I HAVE BEEN WEARING MAUI JIM STINGRAYS FOR THE LAST 8-10 YEARS. I HAD ONE PAIR LEFT, LENSES PITTED, FRAMES NEEDED HELP, SO I SENT THEM TO MAUI FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS. LEFT MY HOME IN NEWPORT ON 3-30 AND GOT THEM BACK YESTERDAY4-8...WOW, WHAT I GOT WAS BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS...A BEAUTIFUL NEW PAIR FOR A SMALL SERVICE CHARGE...THIS IS THE FIRST REVIEW I'VE EVER LEFT!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY I OVERWHELMED WITH MAUI JIM'S PROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I LOVE THEM.....THESE LENSES ARE REMARKABLE....THANK YOU, JEFF G

I've had my Maui Jim's for a couple years now and I still have nothing but good things to say about them. I put them on and get an instant feeling of eye strain/glare relief. (like a big sigh from my eyes) Awesome. I had them for a year and they fell down the side of the couch hide-a-bed and got a scratch right where in the center of the lens. took them bo my optometrist (perscription), he sent them back to MJ and three weeks later I had a brand new pair on my face, free of charge. They won my continued bussiness at that moment.

More than 2 years usage believe me, I do forget that I putting them on. Very light and incredible lenses. I love the polarize technology Maui Jim offer, these are the best polarized lenses I have ever seen compared to more expensive brands.

I did buy one MJ SPORT-Lighthouse two years ago and used it all the time in Goa's hot, bright & sultry weather. It protected my eyes like an eye-specialist. I broke its one temple when I sat over it unknowingly over a hard garden bench. Just yesterday I replaced it with a new same one. Amazingly Maui Jim gave a huge discount for this replacement even the mistake was mine and it was two years old! Specto Opticals, Panaji, Goa, arranged this replacement with perfect customer care. I found this glass (dark-black) is just perfect from morning till evening for bright-sunny region.

Bought these for fishing and other sport activities. Optics is awesome! You can easily see under water surface. Green lens is also nice when there isn't straigh sunlight. And weight is so light! I almost forget i'm wearing glasses at all. Best glasses i've ever had!

Crashed my mountain bike on 12/3 by hitting a thin layer of sand on concrete surface in a sharp curve. My head hit the surface while going about 20 mph. My face, just above right eye, hit first. My MJ's saved my eye. Severe scratching, but no break, of right lens. Glasses broke in middle frame connection. I fear that my Oakley's, with more plastic, may have caused severe face injury. I am so glad I was wearing my MJ's during this accident. I will get another pair as soon as I see some sale prices in the area.

Great sunglasses. The best for glare protection. I never see glare on the inside of my sunglasses. Use the glasses with a leash and never go out without your Maui Jims. The best part about Maui Jims is the service that you receive. All I can say is that they stand behind their sunglasses. So rest assured that if you have a problem they will fix them at a fair price. If not under warranty !!!

I bought these about 3 years ago to replace another pair of Maui Jim's that I lost. These sunglasses have been everything I could have wanted in them. Very comfortable. I can wear them for many hours with no fatigue. The bronze lenses are phenomenal in durability and optics. Clarity is superior. I have (unfortunately) dropped them a few times on hard ground with not a scratch to the lenses. The frames are made in ITALY and the quality shows. I am extremely happy with the Stingray and will buy another pair of Maui's when the time comes.

I am a big fan of these glasses. They are light weight and flexible, although it takes a bit getting used to putting them on because the frame flexes so much. I dropped them a lot until I bought a lanyard but even through all the falls the lenses are no worse for wear! After almost a year of wear the bridge did snap and they are in for repair, but I can't wait to get them back! Definitely worth my money.

I have these glasses in flat black with HCL Bronze lens - they are great glasses in fit and finish. The lenses are so good in all light that I wear them on cloudy days and often find myself wearing them until its almost dark. I dropped them hard once and cracked a lens - the service was fast and free and the glasses came back tuned and perfect. What a rare experience!
