Bought these for husband for birthday. He likes them! I think they are stylish and he can get by with wearing them with jeans or shorts and maybe even to work...super comfortable! He wears 8 1/2 and I bought 9s, they fit well with socks but without they are a little too big on him. Good buy overall.

Obviously very well made. I had another pair and they were indestructible... Until my dogs got to them.
Sanuk has the best fit and feel to the slipper market.
My only complaint is that the bottoms are very slippery. They need more traction. Its actually dangerous in some situations.

This is the second pair of sanuks that I have owned. This pair is very comfortable, but I wish they were more breathable. I would buy again, an again.

This is my third pair of Sanuk "sandals"...they are the most comfortable shoes on this earth. However, this particular model has a lower back than the others which feels a bit odd as you feel like you should be hiking up to back. After a while, you get used to it. Order a slightly larger size as they run small.

Used these a lot as a step up from a sandal or flip flop while still being comfortable/workable in hot climates. Worn extensively all throughout Asia/Pacific and India, providing that little bit more protection for your feet than an open sandal or flip flop but still that easy on/off convenience when visiting places where shoes are expected to be off, e.g. temples. Now onto my second pair after wearing the last ones to near death.

I wear them everywhere and now have 3 pairs because I was so happy with the first. First pair has worn very well. First thing to go is a little sole separation on one shoe but have had them almost 2 years. Most comfortable shoe I own. Wash easily in the washing machine and came out completly clean and did not shrink at all (did NOT put in dryer). Very happy overall. Recommend to everyone.

I ordered these looking for a casual pair of sh....sandals. These are some really alternatives to your work boots or sneakers or whatever. I wear almost everywhere and they look good too. I'm a size 9.5 but got a size 9 hoping for a tight fit and I got what I wanted. True to size. Highly recommend these!

The Chiba's fit a little snug even though I got the size that I normally wear. The reason why returned them was the uncomfortable stitching in the back of the shoe that was irritating my heel through the socks. Most Sanuks are pretty comfortable except for these. I'll try my hand with the Vagabonds instead.

Third pair of Sanuk's I own and for comfort and just a great very casual shoe they can't be beat. Perfect for warmer weather and look great with jeans or shorts. Comfort is what these shoes are about just don't try and dress them up.

These shoes have become my go to for work, hanging out with friends, or just going out and about. From reading other reviews I was really expecting a lot in terms of comfort. I must admit I was not all that impressed when I first slipped them on. However, after a few days I noticed my feet didn't hurt after work and that they really break in nicely. I recommend if you have to wear them for a long time, wear them with a decent pair of socks. The main reason for this is that these shoes don't breathe well, your feet will get hot if it is warm outside and if you are active, the insides will get sweaty and the sole will get slimy. Socks also make the shoes feel magically more comfortable. Not sure why that is, just try it. I've gotten mixed reviews from people about how they look. My mom said they looked like hippie bedroom slippers. I might agree with her, but I think they look really great with any type of cargo pants. They are wider than your average shoe which is perfect for me because I have paddle feet. Overall I highly recommend this shoe/sandal for its comfort, ease of use, and its lightness and flexibility.

When weather permits and I'm not in the office, I wear my Chiba's all the time. I backpacked throughout Italy in them, up steep hills, rough terrain and they performed beautifully. They are a great shoe to travel with because they are so compact and light. They have grown more comfortable with use (I've had them for just over a year) and despite a bit of color fading from brown to more of a gray they look about the same.
There are a few issues I have had with the shoes however. Landscapes/situations I would not frequent again wearing these are: anywhere with a lot of sand or rain. Both showed a poor side of the Chiba. Sand got in through the holes right above the sole and was a constant bother for the duration of the day. Rain, I don't even know where to begin, I have always knew these shoes weren't ideal for rain, but I found myself stuck at a fair this weekend for longer than I expected and it ended up being miserable and I might as well have been barefoot.
Overall though a great shoe if worn at appropriate times. Disc golf = perfection.

Let me start out by saying these are fantastic, comfortable, fashionable (in my opinion) and all-around awesome. I use them around the house, town, backcountry (they are light and fit into a backpack well as in-camp shoes.) Really I couldn't find anything wrong with them except...
...My feet have never smelled so bad. They're not bad until I take them off, and then it's just unbearable. I will be honest, my feet don't usually smell bad, and perhaps these would benefit from some ventilation like a previous user recommends. I also have noticed that products with "antimicrobial footbeds" have typically produced stinkier feet than ones without. These shoes would be perfect for air travel, but I would not want to sit with my stinky feet for long amounts of time in a recycled-air cabin.

I just got these today so although I wanted to give it 5 stars, I want to see how well they hold up first. I have such a hard time finding any shoes or sandals that work for my wide and flat feet. I usually buy Merrells but as soon as I put these on my feet my whole body relaxed. I tried them against several other cheaper options but nothing came close. Totally worth the cost in my book. If they hold up well, I'll be buying them often.

Only con is I wish they had those air holes on them to keep them cool.. when I wear them.. tend to warm up very fast...otherwise very comfortable.. like I am not wearing anything.

These sandal/ shoe things are pretty sweet. They are super light and comfortable.
My only complaint is that the sole wears out fast.
The upper is super tough though. It does stretch a bit after time so I wish I would have gotten a size smaller. But no biggie. I would recommend, however, to get more than just one pair of Sanuks because you're going to want to wear these and only these and they will wear out. So find another pair you like and just alternate between them. It'll help keep them fresh as well.

I loved these sandals for the 6 days I had them. But one night I came home to find that my dog had ripped them to shreds. :( Maybe all Sanuks aren't built to withstand a dog. But I wish they were more durable.

love these super comfortable shoes, but the online purchase (size 10 mens) was smaller than the inshore purchase of the same exact shoe (size 10 mens) also, the color online said "black" but they are charcoal (dark gray)

I bought a replacement pair of Sanuk shoes as a bday gift for my nephew who loved them and had worn his first pair daily. On his recommendation, I also bought a pair for my son. I'm happy with the shoes themselves. However, I was given a discount code because this was my first purchase and it didn't work. I was given a second code, and it didn't work either. I contacted customer service and the rep was unable to figure out why it wouldn't work. I was told I would have to pay full price then contact them after delivery to see if they could refund me the money I would have gotten off with the discount. I'm the customer. I'm giving you money. I shouldn't have to work that hard to do YOUR job.
