Exceptionally comfortable!!!!
I just purchased this pair of shoes and they are the most comfortable pair of running shoes I have ever owned!!!! They fit like a glove and feel like a slipper!!! I also tried the Nike Free "Everyday" and they were nowhere near as comfortable as this pair, the Nike Free 5.0 V4. I usually wear a size 8 dress shoe and no larger than a size 8.5 tennis shoe with thick socks but had to order a size 9 in this style (and they fit like a glove)!!! THIS STYLE RUNS SMALL!!!! Order at least a half size larger!!!
I'd also recommend:

I bought these shoes last summer, but only recently started running seriously. I love these shoes. They are not really great for cross training though. I have worn them to lift weights several times and I find my feet really leaning in the shoe. But they are excellent for running. I do not recommend wearing without socks. It gave me a weird blister on the arch of my foot which was pretty painful. Otherwise they are excellent. I have gone 100+ miles in them over the past two months and they are staying strong.

I love these shoes for walking around in, but they are awful running shoes. The first time I ran in them, I seriously messed up my feet to the point of possibly have stress fractures. Be careful!

I ran in these for about 100 miles. They were better than my New Balances, but in the end I strained my right shin just the same. Recently I switched to the Nike Free 3.0's and I find they're much better. A smaller heel, less arch support, and a more flexible toe makes the 3.0 much more barefoot-like. The 5.0's are okay, but the 3.0 are much better.

I ordered these a half size larger than my usual size and they just fit. I am having a little problem with the shoe rubbing against my toe, so I think they are a little too narrow. I\'m surprised, as I have never had a problem when I order a 7 Medium. They are cute and comfy on the bottom and I wear tham when I walk outside (1 to 2 miles). I just have to make sure I wear a really thin sock. For running, I prefer a more solid running shoe.

Recently, I purchased a pair of the Nike Free 4.0 women\'s athletic shoe. She selected the hot red and gray colors. Definitely not colors that I would have picked but she’s got to wear them. Diane is an avid exerciser and her old pair was just giving out. She has gotten a lot of compliments on her choice of colors and she loves the fit and comfort of the she. I think that that we would both definitely recommend this shoe.

Great lightweight shoe. Not a shoe I recommend for bi-lateral movement; ie, not for cross training. Nice for walking. Very cushy.

I love these shoes, they are made to be light and flexible and therefore making your feet stronger, more like walking barefoot. I do have one small problem, the shoes seem to run a little small. I ordered a size 8, what I always wear, but they were a bit too small. I suggest ordering up.

I purchased these shoes as walking shoes and they work great. However, I did go on a run with them after reading reviews saying it was great for running. I found it to the contrary. While it is very light, I definitely felt everything I was running on. This may be great on a track but running in the streets and sidewalks definitely hurt after the 4th mile. There isn\'t much cushion for running. If you are buying this shoe for a low impact workout, such as walking, it is great. Otherwise, I would suggest trying something with more support.

I bought these right before a trip, so I could save packing space and still work out. Typical of Nikes, they run small, so I ordered a size larger than "my size" and they fit perfectly. They are quite comfortable, but since they are constructed so they can fold flat, they have limited lateral foot stabilization. They were just fine for me, for low-impact or no-impact exercise. I wouldn't mind using them for a short run, or an aerobics class that had some step work, but I wouldn't use them for extended high-impact exercise. Oh, and I do think the color and style are fun!

I bought these shoes for exercising but now wear them other times. I get compliments I think because the green color is so eye catching. I always wear a half size larger in Nike and these are true to that rule. They are very comfortable.

Zappos is wonderful. Kind customer service and quick attention and efficient. I ordered NikeFree and they are great. Very ergonomic. I followed another’s review, and I ordered a size up and that was perfect. The only issue is that the arch runs a bit too far towards my heel. This hits a pressure point that can be very irritating. If you have experienced this in a sneaker before, do not buy these to wear always. To only exercise in I feel is good. I recommend these shoes overall.

These shoes are pretty comfortable. They are very springy which is fun, but they have given me some blisters on the side of my big toe and the bottom of my middle toes. They're very light.

I generally do like NIKE products. These shoes have laces not in the center of the shoe, but tilted to one side, which looks strange. They also feel a bit narrow.

I wanted to love these shoes. I have been looking for a minimalist, lightweight running shoe for a while, and everything about the Nike Free seemed to fit the bill. When I tried it on, it felt great - like a slipper. When I started running in them, they also felt great. Except that I kept getting blisters on the entire inside of my forefoot, a problem I have never had with other brands of shoes (New Balance, Saucony, Adidas). I tried for a few weeks to let my feet toughen up, but it never happened. The forefoot area of the shoe is just too narrow for me. (I bought my normal running shoe size, which is a half to full size larger than my street shoe size, and this was the correct size.) So I turned these into my fashionable shoes and bought a different pair of running shoes. (I got the Brooks Launch instead, and I do love those shoes for all the reasons I wanted to love the Frees.)
I'd also recommend:

I bought these because I have been having problems with plantar fasciitis, and noticed that the pain was a lot less if I went barefoot. So I though shoes with flexible, thinner soles that were more like being barefoot might be helpful. Also, I under-pronate and these are supposed to be specifically for neutral gait or those who somewhat under-pronate. Note regarding my comments: I was not intending these for running, but for everyday use and for walking. Also, I\'m heavy so these might be better for someone that\'s more of a lightweight.\r\n\r\nOn the plus side: \r\n-These are very lightweight, and very flexible. \r\n\r\n-They seem to have a decent amount of room in the toe area and the material in that area has some give to it which is a good thing. \r\n\r\n-They have a reasonable amount of cushioning without going overboard.\r\n\r\n-They seem like they would "breathe" well.\r\n\r\nOn the negative side: \r\n-These run very narrow and/or aren\'t "tall" enough in the area of the laces. Even going a full size up from my normal size, they are tight in the are of the laces and just above the toes, even with the laces completely undone. They were plenty long at that size and fit well in other aspects. Even with the insole removed they were still a bit too tight in that area. I\'m not sure what kind of foot these are supposed to fit. (I\'ve always worn Nikes almost exclusively but this time around can\'t seem to find a pair that fit properly, even though my older Nikes still fit well as do other brands.)\r\n\r\n-The arch support is very hard and seemed to hit my foot in a strange place that made it immediately painful. Taking out the insoles completely actually made them more comfortable (especially since that also made them less tight in the area of the laces). \r\n\r\n-Contrary to the description, these seem bad for under-pronators as I have the problem much worse with these shoes than with others. I can feel my foot turning out on the edge. Also, I can feel pressure and burning in the area on the outside edge of my feet where I have developed corns and callouses in the past due to the under-pronation.\r\n\r\n-These immediately made my plantar fasciitis much worse and more painful, even after only a short walk. This is in drastic contrast to going barefoot or wearing the flat and thin-soled indoor track shoes that I\'ve been wearing the last couple of weeks and which have really helped the PF.\r\n\r\n- They aren\'t the easiest to put on. One side of the tongue is actually sewn onto the shoe which feels a little strange trying to put them on at first. The tongue material is pretty thin, and the heel material isn\'t stiff at all (which could be a good thing), but this makes everything tend to sort of squash up when you put them on. There isn\'t a tab on the back to pull the heel back up after you put them on so you end up digging out/ pulling up the heel material and one side of the tongue after you put them on.\r\n\r\nCould be good or bad: \r\n-These are nothing like going barefoot at all, so if that\'s what you are looking for you should look elsewhere.\r\n\r\n-Some might think they look a little odd on your feet due to the curved last and asymmetrical lacing, but I think they look fine and like the selection of bright colors.\r\n\r\n- The height of the shoe around the heel area is lower than I\'m used to in sneakers and running shoes. I kind of liked that, probably because I\'m short and so they seemed to hit my ankle in a more comfortable places than other shoes. Some people might not like that, though. \r\n\r\n

These Nike Free 5.0 v4 shoes are wonderfully lightweight and extremely comfortable with or without thin socks, and I was happy to have found them. BUT don\'t expect them to last very long. I returned the first pair because the strip of fabric along the outside edge of the left shoe was sewn more tightly than the right. I exchanged shoes (thank you Zappos) and got the new pair in a day. Now the bad news: One of the seams on the right shoe started tearing open within the first week. I was wearing the shoes for short trail walks and to the market, not running long distances, so there wasn\'t excessive wear and tear on them. This was very disappointing. The two experiences of poor quality control with these shoes was very disappointing. So: excellent on design in terms of comfort but don\'t expect them to last very long.
