Zappos made my first buying experience with them a pleasure. Not only was shipping free, but they gave me a free upgrade which got my product to me quicker than expected. The Nikes were great, too! I am well-pleased.

Love these shoes - very comfy, not at all bulky. I have been walking and running short distances in them as a way of transitioning to a more minimalist running shoe style. So far so good after a few weeks. My only downside was that the green color is way brighter in person than it looked on my computer screen.

I have been using these shoes for about one week. I jog about 3 miles five days a week and these shoes are awesome! I have slightly wide feet which are also flat, and my previous running shoes made my feet ache excruciatingly. After much research, I decided that Nike Free 5.0 was the shoe I needed. It is designed to simulate "barefoot" running to engage the entire foot. Since I have been using these shoes, I have not had any foot pain. I ordered half a size up, as seems to be standard with Nike, and it is the appropriate size for running shoes. These shoes are extremely lightweight and comfortable and Zappos' service is top notch!

These shoes were just as reviewed. They are great. I did order them a 1/2 size up, but that wasn't necessary. However, the extra "wiggle room" in the toe box for my toes is nice. I just wear thicker socks. These shoes travel well, don't weigh a lot and can be squished down into a suit case easily so they don't take up as much space as other sneakers. Yet walking about town they were comfortable, supportive and light weight and they look good, too. I got them in black so I didn't stand out so conspicuously as an American. Love 'em. I will use them primarily for travel.

I love this shoe, very comfortable. Definitely order 1/2 size up. Only complaint is the stitching started coming out on the top of the left shoe after my first wear! Couldn't send them back because I had worn them!

Nike Free 5.0 is the best sneaker I have ever worn! It is so nice to actually feel your foot move on the ground instead of feeling like you have a brick strapped to your foot. I have back and knee problems, but the thinner amount of "cushion" is not causing any problems. They are about 75% lighter (than a traditional sneaker)for me to carry around in my gym bag. I bought the same size I always wear in Nike footwear.

This is my first time owning a pair of any model of the Nike Free, and I'm thrilled. I'd recommend them to anyone interested in a tremendously flexible, lightweight, responsive, low-profile running shoe for light days or tempo runs; or alternately for fitness walking. I'm especially satisfied with the comfort of the one-piece stretchy upper and the firm cushioning of the sole. I tend to shy away from ultra-cushioned running shoes that feel like they're outfitted with pneumatic pumps, so if that's your preference, I don't think you'd like these. I live in sneakers as much as possible and these are so comfortable, I'd contemplate a second pair for everyday activities.

Great shoe. Very light. Perfect for the person wanting to strengthen their feet and feel great during their training.

I purchased my first pair of Nike Frees about 6 months ago. They are so comfortable, I found that I was wearing them every day. So I decided to get a second pair. I chose my normal shoe size for the first pair, and they fit perfectly barefoot, and a bit snug (but comfortable) with socks. I decided to order up a half size for the second pair. They fit well, too. Overall, I\'d say that they are true to size.\r\nI suffered from plantar fascitis for over 2 years. These shoes, along with stretching and some body work, have helped immenseley. I\'d say I\'m 95% better. It\'s nice to be able to run again!\r\nI\'m NOT a big fan of the Nike brand and what it stands for, but I can\'t deny that this is the best walking and running shoe for me.

this is a great sneaker! since they do not make the nike zen free anymore i choose this one. i am glad i did. i had to order one whole size up. very comfortable yet stylish, especially in black.

The mesh is really comfortable and makes the show very light weight which is great. They fit perfect without socks-the ventilated mesh makes this possible. Maybe if you wear thick socks, 1/2 size up?

I purchased these shoes after becoming interested in barefoot running. The Nike Free tries to capture the feeling of running barefoot while protecting your feet. These shoes definitely do that but I had to make the adjustment slowly. I normally wear an 8 but ended up with a size 9. If I wear socks with these shoes, the socks have to be extremely thin or the shoes feel somewhat tight around my forefoot. Very comfortable shoe and very lightweight.

I really like these shoes. I ordered a whole size bigger, based on recommendations, so the shoes fit perfectly. It takes a little while getting used to the feel of the shoe, but they are super-comfortable! I wear them daily.

Most "flexible" athletic shoes I've ever worn. Wear them for 12 hour nursing shifts in ICU and they are great.

Love, love, love these shoes. Tried them on and knew they were for me. I always get a 7 in Nike, but got a 7.5 in these. They are perfect for the afternoon jog!

They just don't get any better. I could walk 100 miles non-stop in these shoes. Very lightweight, but great support. I have them in 3 different colors. They run about a 1/2 size small. Best purchase I ever made.

Shoes are very comfortable. I usually wear a size 8.5 but ordered a 9 and they fit great. Very cushioned by the heel and arch. Overall, great shoe.

I was DESPERATE to find sneakers that would lay flat in my suitcase so I could keep up with my work out while on the go. I searched high and low until I came across another review on Zappos.com and someone said these sneakers flatten down to just the soles in your suitcase. I thought that sounded great, but was skeptical. I bought them anyway with the understanding that I could return them if it didn’t work out. The shipping was RAPID. And I do mean QUICK. I tried them on right in the office (I shipped them to work) and I did NOT want to take them off! They were the BOMB! They fit like a glove without being too snug (BUY A FULL SIZE LARGER, you’ll thank me!) and what can’t see is the soles are split into segments so the whole sole bends with your foot movement. Que excellente! Especially for the treadmill or elliptical. The laces are a bit off to the side, so they’ve got a different vibe. Really boss. And you know what? They flatten so well, I can put them behind the lining of my suitcase so I still have room to pack. If you’re on the fence, buy ‘em, you won’t regret it. Just get a size larger than you normally wear. And oh yeah, the green ones make you look super cool, and writing this review reminds me to buy the black ones!

Nike Free is the only type of athletic shoe I will wear anymore. They’re super light, very cushioned, and flat on the bottom which makes them fantastically suited for weight lifting. Best of all, they’re comfortable from the moment you put them on - no need to break them in!

These running shoes are great! I've been wearing them for almost a month now. The fit is true to size. My only concern is that I wear them without socks and I'm afraid they will start to smell quickly. If you intend on wearing socks, I would recommend ordering the next size up. That aside, I feel like I can run forever in them. So what if they have to sleep outside sometimes?

These are the best running shoes I have ever owned. They are comfortable, supportive, and very lightweight. I bought the greyish purple color and they look great from all angles. I use these shoes for frequent indoor cardio workouts on the arc trainer and elliptical machines and they perform wonderfully with no rubbing or other discomfort. I ordered up a half size up and am pleased with the fit of my shoes.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever run or walked in. They truly feel like going barefoot. It takes getting used to so I would recommend a slow transition, it works a lot more muscles in your foot than the stiffer shoes. They are also quite attractive and look good with shorts and capris. They do run small so I got a half size larger than normal, also my foot is narrow and they fit perfect in width so watch out if your hobbit footed.
