Great makeup! I've used other mineral makeups and this is the best. It has great coverage, doesn't cake, just the right amount of glow without making you look like the Tin Man. Love that there's no messy loose powder to deal with. Also love the blush which doesn't disappear, and the bronzer doesn't make my face look dirty like most do. I use only high end makeup and this is right up there. One thing about choosing a color- the light in this line is lighter than most. I'm a fairly light or light in BE and the light in purmineral was too light. So if you're not sure, I'd go darker. Have fun ladies!

I used to use Bare Minerals but I like Pur Minerals better. I think it's more finely milled and gives a better finish. I really like it!

These products all cover surprisingly well for the amount that you apply without appearing to be too heavy or opaque. This allows you to pile on more or less as needed and still look very natural. The makeup also stays well even in very humid conditions and does not run or transfer to clothing. I recommend this kit as opposed to just buying the base because it works very well in combination to alter the overall shade. I recently took this set on a trip to Hawaii, and although the base shade matched my skin well at the start of the trip, I quickly became tanned and pink with sun exposure. I found I could use the base shade and apply a little bronzer all over to match my current shade very closely. I normally hate blush but this one can be applied very lightly to add a gentle glow. One negative is that using the included chisel brush will make you go through the makeup too quickly. I found that I could use a loose kabuki brush to apply a lot less and still get good coverage. Also, I like to use a good concealer under this makeup on problem areas to increase coverage in certain places without using a lot of the purmineral base.

I purchased this for my wedding day & was able to do everyone's makeup & it lasted me 6 months after that! I love it!

I really wanted to love this set but I have some issues with it. I've used Bare Minerals for years but admit it doesn't hold up well to heat and sweat. I ordered light because, unless it's summer and I'm tanned, I'm always a light. In the container I worried it might be too dark, but once I got it on it was actually too light. And it looked chalky. The brush that is given with it sheds as much as one of the dogs when you try to use it, leaving bristles everywhere. The blush, while actually a nice color and goes on sheer, has a very funny smell to it. Guess I'm back to Bare Minerals.

I decided to try purminerals after I ran out of my usual bareMinerals, I'm so glad I did! Honestly, I bought this starter kit because it was less expensive than BM but I didn't know what to expect. I really like the brush, which picks up just enough product without a mess. The 4-in-1 foundation has a velvety smooth texture, not powdery at all. The Blush Medium color was perfect for my "medium beige" complexion and compliments the mineral glow and marble blush that are included in the kit. The level of coverage after only one application is also great. I will definitely purchase again and intend to try some of the other purminerals products soon.

I thought this was a great introduction to the Pur brand. I ended up reupping on my 4-in-1 face foundation powder a couple weeks later because I reapplied it quite often. Like many reviewers I also liked the special brush it came with. I personally have used the bronzer a lot and it's on its last leg, though it's nothing to rave about. The blush is nice and light and natural - perfect for paler skin tones. I wear this occasionally but only because I'm a more yellow tone. Definitely wish they'd come up with a color between Medium Tan and the next dark one whatever it's called because though I love the coverage and ease of application, it does make me a tad less colored, which doesn't bode well for summer. All in all, glad I made the buy! Recommend to others.

This is best foundation I have found to cover my melasma. Works better than Bare Minerals.

Like the make-up very much! Very small amount gives great "natural looking" coverage. The blush is a nice color for me (pink tones.) I don't use the bronzer - probably don't know how to apply it. Using less make-up because the coverage is so good. Zappos has wonderful customer service.

I\'m a long-time user of PurMinerals so I purchased this kit for my travle bag! Perfect sizes to have for traveling or just to keep in your purse for touch-ups, any time. PurMinerals is the best of all the mineral make-up brands out there. No loose powder flying all over and really good for your skin. Definitely recommend highly!

I have enjoyed using this make up. I have had similar make up that was loose powder, but this is a pressed powder. Still, I do recommend this product for those who have sensitive skin, or want a nice, natural look.

I have acne prone skin and purminerals seems to be the only make up that works for me so far. It gives enough coverage and does not cause any break outs. I love the mineral glow and sometimes go out with just that and not foundation. Marble powder can be used as a good eyeshadow too.

Great makeup! I have dry skin and yet, it doesn\'t cake up on your face. It looks very natural and I also like the compact size for traveling!

I liked the foundation powder the most. The bronzer and blush are good too, but they have some shimmer in them. Not sure if that works for day time. The brush was too rough for my face, so I gave it away. Overall, it's a good travel size kit and it didn't cause any harsh reactions. The powder doesn't cake or make your skin more oily. I found it useful to set my undereye concealer or just use it as a dry concealer on its own. If you have dry skin, you should use moisturizer before applying this. Had the bronzer been matte, I would have used it more.

Love this! I'm a mac fan, but lately my face has been breaking out; I just feel like I need something more light weight. This is perfect! Easy to apply, the brush is snazzy and the powder goes on nice and smooth. You can't mess this up! The starter kit is a great way to introduce yourself to the products, especially since the price is so reasonable; the brush alone is $22 normally! Highly recommend!

I have the most difficult type of skin for makeup (or so I like to complain). I feel like nothing really hides my redness/imperfections and cakes up almost effortlessly. I had been thinking about trying a mineral makeup for a while, because I’ve tried every liquid foundation and have just been settling. I’m actually really glad that I gave this makeup a try! This starter kit is great for the value! The makeup actually does stay on my face a lot longer than long-wear liquid foundation (as a note, I also use purminerals green color correcting primer, and it really helps hide my redness and keeps the makeup long-lasting). The blush feels silky and the color is a nice match for my fair skin tone. I do admit that I haven’t tried the bronzer because I’m so light-toned and I’m not great at applying bronzer in the first place. The brush did lose some bristles the first few times I applied the makeup, but doesn’t anymore. Overall, I’m quite pleased with my purchase. I also haven’t had any break-outs since wearing it - got to love that! The products really do last a long time, and I don’t see myself replacing the makeup or blush for a while (and I do plan on replacing them when they run out). :)

I have been a mineral make up user for years. I decided to give the Pur Minerals line a try because I love their face wash. I must say that I was a bit disappointed. It looked flaky and didn't last as long, even though I used a primer. I like the bronzer & the brush it came with. Blush is just a normal blush, nothing special or to complain about there.

I had used Bare Minerals but was running out and figured that they were probably long past their sell by date (as am I). Not as happy with these. You don't have powder shooting all over the place, and they are very easy to carry around (small packaging), and the coverage is good. The cons are that they very drying, almost impossible to open (don't get these if you value your nails!), and my complexion does not get the compliments it used to. I'll go back to Bare Minerals as soon as I save up my pennies!

Love this! I had tried other mineral powder foundations and got that weird vampirish glow, plus so-so coverage. The 4-in-1 really has great coverage, even over my ruddy spots; you can build to whatever level of coverage you need, reapply later in the day, whatever, and the color stays true and fresh. I have somewhat oily skin, so I do carry it with me for touch-ups. It never gets that orangey, need-to-wash-my-face look like can happen with powder over liquid foundation. Plus...it's not a messy loose powder, nice and neat. I notice they've created an enhanced 4-in-1; I hope they also keep the original because it is awesome.

I've been a faithful user of Bare Escentuals for a very long time; however, I saw an article for this on a Rosacea blog so I figured I'd give it a try. I am so glad that I did. It covers the redness on my chin without burning. The coverage stays on all day. With the heat and humidity in the North East so far this summer, I am very happy with it and it does not rub off. It's still a powder application, but it gives my skin that flawless effect that I've been striving to achieve for a very long time.

I wanted this to be more like BareEssentials. It doesn't stay on like BareEssentials, but the makeup looks good. Wish it was longer lasting.
