My girlfriend loves this and wears it all the time, she says it is "so soft" warm and cozy. Beware the Lavendula Purple is more of a baby blue and almost not lavender.

I bought this jacket in the weimaraner brown. It is very soft and warm. I like that it has elastic around the sleeves, as most jacket sleeves are too long for me. I usually wear a 1X in plus sizes and the XXL fit me well. The only downside to this jacket for me is that it does shed. I'm hoping this will go away after it's washed a time or two. Zappos shipping was fast as always. I received it in two days.

Loved everything about this jacket. I was super excited about getting it. The only thing that got me quite upset was that I ordered a size M and the body was well fitted but the arms we're very, very short and that was the only bummer for mr because it looks quite weird, so I would suggest to buy a size larger.

So soft and comfortable! I truly love this jacket. It is lightweight but keeps you warm on colder days. I bought a size up so I can layer under but I haven't had to . Even in 40 degree weather I feel warm and cozy.

This jacket is amazing! It is so soft and warm. I thought it would let the wind through, but it doesn't. I've been wearing it inside and out. Perhaps not the most flattering thing I've ever owned, but I'll take the feeling of being hugged by a teddy bear over attractive any day.

I love the jacket! It's soft, warm and a great fit. The only issue I'm having is that some of the inside of the jacket gets on my clothes. I'm hoping that will go away after the first washing!

Warm, very comfortable, fits great. Color was a little brighter than I really wanted. Shipped VERY fast.

Wearing it right now. Its VERY cozy. I wish it was just a tad longer, but it's ok. I'm a Med in tops and sized up to a Lrg to allow for some room. Glad I did - fits awesome. Only real downside is that I'm afraid this will mat down quickly, especially the elbows and back or the forearm. Time will tell...

I love this jacket but the new style is BIGGER! I am 5'3" and 120 and the medium was too big. I have not had any problems with washing or shedding and hands down Zappos is awesome! I will not order from moose jaw again!

This coat is very warm and soft I really love it. The only thing I don't like about it, it sheds but hopefully when I get it cleaned it will do better.

Warm and soft, better than the normal fleece jackets. The right pocket has an inner pocket which is convenient to store spare cash or a key in. I just wish it were a bit longer. Normally I find North Face jackets fits snug in the chest area, I am glad this is offered in XXL, for a 42" chest it fits great.

I purchased this jacket since I have bought this style of jacket before. I loved the color (fire brick red)online, but when I received the item it did not appear red at all and more orange. I love the style and comfort of the osito jacket just not this particular color.

I ordered this jacket despite reading some reviews about the shedding issue. I wish I had listened! While the fit is great, and the jacket is soft and cozy, it sheds like crazy. I thought I'd be ok if I avoided wearing the jacket with black, but it sheds on my jeans, the seat belt in my car, my couch, etc.

I've had an Osito Jacket in black for a year now and loved it so much that I asked for a silver one for Christmas. I expected to love this one just as much but it shed gray fluff balls and lint all over my clothes and even the seat belt of my car, transferring fluff to my husband's clothes! I thought, okay, maybe it just needs to be washed. When the shedding didn't improve after 3 washes I gave up and returned it. I never had this problem with my black Osito, so I'm not sure if everyone will experience this issue or if it's a random problem. Shedding aside, the Osito is deliciously warm, soft, and comfortable, and my 12-year-old boy hugs me more when I'm wearing it. I gave an extra star overall for that.

Love this coat; however the neck doesn't lay down like it should. Otherwise I like it. I do receive compliments. But even after washing the neck doesn't lay or fold correctly.

It's cozy, soft, vibrant beautiful colors (mine was purple), but it sheds worse than a golden retriever dog! I couldn't believe...such a nice jacket, not tip, with a such a big flaw! I had purple lint all over my under clothes, jeans and sofa...so, I had to return it. I expected more from The North Face. Thank God for Zappos, they're the best!

This is very warm and soft. But it kind of made me look like one of my daughter's stuffed animals so it's going back.

I read the review about how badly this fleece sheds; yet, purchased it anyway thinking it wouldn't happen to mine. Well, it did....and just as badly as the other review claimed. It's a constant pain dealing with the piling and shedding of this fleece. I've washed it several times, used a fabric shaver, rolled it with a lint roller over and over again, and it still sheds all over my clothes, seat belt, couch and little balls are found on the back of my hair whenever I wear it. In fact, it's such a pain that I HARDLY wear it, which is a waste of money. It is one of my biggest pet peeves when the quality of fleece pils and sheds. I think it makes the garment look cheap. You'd think that after washing this fleece that the shedding and piling would cease...or at least become less so. However, it doesn't. Due to the constant care and grooming this fleece requires, I wouldn't recommend it. The comfort and name brand doesn't outweigh the quality on this one.

Don't get me wrong, this jacket is comfortable. But SHEDS! I leave pink fuzzies everywhere and it is so annoying and the zipper on my pockets and jacket both et stuck all the time. If my phone were in my pocket zipped, and I had to call 911,I couldn't BECAUSE MY ZIPPER WOULD BE STUCK!!! That is definitely something not good. I have been wearing North Faces since I was tiny, and I am disappointed and I am not getting a North Face this season! BEWARE OF STUCK ZIPPERS!

This jacket sheds all over my clothes and seatbelt! I love North Face but am returning this coat. Unfortunately, Zappos is out of stock on the replacement I want. I'll have to order from North Face directly. This coat is super warm and cute...too bad it sheds on everything!

My daughter loved the jacket. It was soft and the color was great. However, the coat sheds badly. I got green fuzz all over my seatbelt and consequently all over my other coats. I am not sure why this coat is doing this.

I do wonder how many of these positive reviews were written on first impressions versus actual long term wear. In fact, I previously left a five star review shortly after purchasing this, because my first impression of the jacket was very positive. It is warm, it is soft, it is cozy, what is not to love? Well, a lot of things. I did not have an issue with shedding on my clothes, but the seat belt was another story. The fuzzies clung to the seat belt and then transferred themselves to anything else that I wore. That was irritating, but not a deal-breaker. But the more severe side effect of this seat belt shedding was that the jacket developed "seat belt lines" in the fleece that would not go away, because it matted the fleece down where the seat belt hit. This was not over a period of several months or years, either, but weeks. This jacket is just too expensive for how delicate it is. The fleece is so soft and warm, but for the price, I need something that I can wear in the car without the fleece being matted and shedding away. Two stars because it feels nice, but if you are looking for something that is durable and will not shed like a dog, do not get the Osito.
