LOVE this guy!! Travels so well and the compartments are perfect for a girl like me who takes at least two pairs of shoes on every trip and often has some kind of athletic gear too. I did not have the issue of it not standing up like some of the earlier posts mentioned. It might be because I deliberately put the heaviest, boxiest stuff on the bottom where the wheels are. It was great for a week long trip- plenty of room. Super stylish but not too much for a work trip. Thinking about getting some of the matching pieces too.

This suitcase is very large. Definitely bigger than I expected, but a pleasant surprise. A bag that would be useful for longer vacations 5-7 days or more. Has several separate zippered compartments inside which are helpful with separating your things such as shoes, etc. Overall, a very sturdy bag and very easy to wheel around the airport. A little front-heavy if you fill the bag to capacity, but just be aware. Overall, it was not an issue for me. I recommend the bag to anyone looking for a sturdy bag for longer trips.

Took my bag to Paris! It was easy to find on the luggage belt, and I didn't have any issues with it tipping over. All the compartments helped me stay organized.

I have had an earlier version of this bag for about 10 years - and I absolutely love it. It has gone around the world with me on numerous treks (China, Russia/Baltics, Africa, Antarctica, New Zealand/Australia), and the compartments make it so much easier to deal with these extended trips, almost like taking a dresser, with storage areas for everything. I am ready for a new one, but my other is still working, just a bit worn (and one sad zipper).

Great bag! A little more narrow that I expected but a great price for a bag that can be used by anyone! I am 25 & 5'4. I decided to get the bag because of the price and the size. It is a great bag, fairly easy to maneuver and very nice interior sections and lining! Also really fast shipping!

Fantastic huge bag. All the pockets and dividers make it especially easy to stay organized. It's pretty cute, but I think other Dakine patterns are cuter. But at the sale price, most definitely worth it!

I bought this to replace a similar model which I have used extensively for all kinds of domestic and international travel for the last 12 years. It was finally mangled during an unfortunate lost luggage ordeal last winter. I have been super impressed with the function, durability, and style of the DaKine luggage. I definitely wanted to replace it with another DaKine roller. This new model is a bit bigger than my old one, it holds lots, which is great for extended travel. Especially as it is well balanced, the handle slides smoothly and the wheels are fantastic, so it's easy to manage a full load.

It is huge. The interior pockets are all great and keep your stuff organized. I love having a too big suitcase as I can pack it half full for a trip and not worry about fitting all the extra stuff in when I come back. My husband has a similar Burton suitcase. The fabric on his is more stiff. The top half of this one is a bit floppy when empty. Has not seemed to matter and it is much cheaper.

I love my new Dakine Split Roller! I finally decided to get a new one (even though my old one is still in great shape after 5 years) because the new prints are just so great I couldn't resist! The new design is even better than my old one - it has a hard plastic footing on the bottom that helps it stand up on its own no matter how much stuff you have in there. The only luggage I'll use!

I love my suitcase! The plaid is beautiful, the inside roomy, roomy, roomy, the wheels slide so smoothly. Your delivery was right on. All positives. Thanks for the opportunity to set it down in writing.

Super cute bag, but it won't stand up! It tips over if it isn't completely full. It needs more support in the bottom. I'm disappointed! :(

This suitcase is awful, it tips over every time you use it. I would not recommend it. Try the Pagatonia Freightliner as an alternative.

My teenager has had this bag now for almost a year. In that time she spent 10 days traveling through Italy, 9 days in Antigua, Guatemala, and just yesterday returned home from a 7-day cruise. This bag has stood the test of travel without a doubt! It still looks as nice as it did the day we bought it! The size is just fine for airline travel as it falls within the industry parameters. It does want to be a little top heavy, so you need to place heavier stuff near the 'wheel' side of the bag so it doesn't fall over, but even if you aren't diligent about it the bag will stand up on its own as a general rule. Moreover, there is no question whose bag that is and since we have been in and out of 8 different airport experiences with it, I could not be happier! Highly recommend this bag from Dakine!

This is a lovely bag at a good price. It is well balanced, so therefore easy to maneuver. I just made my first international trip with it; and I cannot praise it enough.

Love it! Great design (got lots of compliments). I fit a lot of stuff in this thing for my 2 week trip to St. Martin and, being a female, that says a lot. There are 3 compartments on the top half that are good for keeping bathing suits or flip flops and such separate, and then the bottom compartment is plenty roomy. Nice durable zippers too. Smooth rolling. It meets United Airline's requirements for dimensions too, which means it probably meets most/all of the rest. Definitely recommended to anyone going on a trip more than 1 week long. For the record, I fit a toiletries bag and a beach bag with a space consuming rigid insulated compartment in it on top of all those clothes, so it could probably suit you for trips 1-3 weeks long.

This an awesome suitcase. I hate packing and am OCD when it comes to keeping my shoes, toiletries, clothes separated an this suitcase does the trick. The compartments are great and it's so easy to keep everything organized. It's big (but not embarrassingly big). And it can pretty much hold my entire wardrobe. :) Love it!

Great luggage! Heavy duty material, high quality wheels and quite large! Good padding for protection during transport. I love this brand, have a ski boot bag by them too which is also very good quality.

I just used this bag on a trip to Europe and absolutely loved it! It was big enough to hold all my stuff and held up great with all the traveling. This went on sale (of course) right after I bought it so it was kind of pricey when I purchased it but well worth it. And it looks super cute too!

I love it! I have been searching for luggage for over 6 months and have ordered other pieces online just to find they had poor quality. However, this roller is built to last with great, functional features including deep pockets, multiple compartments, and well placed handles. It's perfect for those of us who like to be organized. The zippers are sturdy and the fabric is thick. The only thing I had to sacrifice was the wheels - they are skate wheels, so the luggage only rolls when tilted. If you want amazing luggage with durability, this is the piece for you!

This is a good and different suitcase. It tends to stand up but lean a bit but doesn't tip over. I thought it would but it didn't, due to other reviews. I tend to pack a lot when going away for the weekend or just a month. I was pleased to see the pockets this suitcase has on the left and right side, once open. I tend to take my jewelry organizer and that itself is a pain because I have to put it in bag, this suitcase allowed me to put some stuff on the left and on the right with enough room for other stuff. Love this bag so much. Perfect size and great compartments for sox, suits, scarves. Perfect size overall too. Used it for 2 week trip and also shorter trips where I needed wetsuits, fins. Lots of compartments. Only one small problem, the netting was ripped when it arrived so I may have to send back for new one! Otherwise LOVE.

I packed two people for a three week vacation and felt like there was still room to spare. However, that blessing may be your curse. We went overweight by many kilos on our way back from Hong Kong.

I have had "her" for a few years now. She has gone to South Africa, Zambia 4 times, Mexico a few times and has done a fine job for all of my trips! Have ordered them for all 5 of my children and they love them!

Great piece of luggage. It has a lot more room than it looks! I really like the separate compartments for organizing my clothes. I recommend this.
